Recent Review: They were professional and did a very good job; they did the cleanup very well. But we had a problem: our kitchen roof leaked; that's why we hired it done; because my husband wanted it done right. It has taken them several times to return to fix the leak. But it leaked all the way through the kitchen ceiling and they have not come in to repair the ceiling so it is still wet sheetrock up there. He returned to fix the leak and did a good job but we still have the issue with the kitchen ceiling. I will use them again in the future.

Recent Review: Joe and his foreman, Justin, came to assess interior damage due to roof leaking and to look at what had been done previously that had not worked. They spent a good deal of time trying to trace possible sources of leaks, then scheduled repair crews. After the first round of repairs were completed, a heavy rainstorm showed that some, but not all, the issues had been addressed and fixed. So, Joe came back out to do further study. He ordered more repairs and suggested the installation of a custom made downspout that would move rain run off more efficiently and keep it away from the stucco walls which had become saturated by run off. He drew up designs and submitted them to a local metalworking company for estimates. I selected the design I wanted, it was installed and, along with the other repairs, the leakage stopped. It has been almost a year now without any sign of the problem.

DMeyers Contracting
He came out right away and said he would be back when he finished 2 of 3 jobs and that's the last I've seen of him. I called him once and he said that he had finished 1 of them. I asked if we were on the back burner and he said no. He said that he charges $30 an hour. He was fine when he came over. He seemed like a very nice and dependable person. He seemed like he would do what he said he would do. I was really disappointed.

ABlue Hills Roofing & Construction LLC
Blue Hills roofing is the ONLY Platinum Preferred Contractor for Owens Corning in the Eau Claire, WI  area & was recommended by the Owens Corning regional representative to CHECK the work/errors of the original installer & to verify the warranty conditions were followed by the original contractor. Sorry to say that the original contractor I picked was only a Preferred Contractor for Owens Corning & made numerous quality errors that resulted in leaks! My original plea for help was immediatelly answered by Blue Hills Roofing & an appointment to check my roof was performed by Anthony in quick order. After showing Anthony my roof issues, they promptly provided an estimate for the rework needed to correct the errors of the original roofer. The date they provided for the rework was very satisfactory and they were prompt & professional & met the projected dates. Oh..and now is the first time since August 2014 that my roof is not leaking!! They provided photographic evidence of the errors the original contractor's team had made and provided a detailed written report listing all the errors they uncovered as they repaired my roof. The original roofing contractor failed to detect a rotted deck board and put ice guard over a hole the size of an orange in my roof along with numerous nail punctures. The install team &  staff of Blue Hills Roofing gave confidence for my wife & I that our roof was CORRECTED to the standards that Owening Cornings requires to meet their warranty requirements. One of my previous lives was as a Quality Professional at Mayo Clinic & I was plesantly surprised when I was called by the owner/president of Blue Hills Roofing to provide feedback on the work his company had done. In the Quality trade this is called the 'Voice of The Customer'! My wife & I have given permission for Blue Hills Roofing to use us as a reference if they so desire!! I still have there signin my fornt yard!

They tore off all the old roofing and had the new roofing installed within a day. Clean up was good but I did find nails in the driveway. On 5/06/13 discovered a leak in the roof and left message for the provider, no call back. Called provider again on 5/10/13 and left another message, no call back. Sent an email to provider on 5/13/13 and got a reply on 5/16/13 stating that someone would be out to look at the roof the following day. On 5/17/13 I received a call around noon at work, saying they were going to look at the roof and call me what with they found out. I got home from work and I can see they put a thick line of caulk where the shingles meet the house, but received no call. The fix they performed did not fix the leak, I made several more calls and finally got a call from one of the foremen on 10/15/13. The guy came out that same day. He looked at things and could not figure out why the roof was leaking. He gave me his card and I was supposed to give him a call when I notice the roof leaking. I gave up and finally hired someone else who discovered that there was flashing missing between the garage roof and the house.

FBEAR LAKE ROOFING
Having no confidence in the ability or of Bear Lake Roofing to complete this job properly (the inspector's report suggests that they used many unacceptable, haphazard and compromising techniques some of which actually encouraged water to enter the house), we engaged an attorney to contact Bear Lake Roofing, to provide a copy of the report and request restitution in the amount of a new roofer's bid for complete removal and replacement (22,673.49) of the roof Bear Lake had installed. The new roofer's assessment was consistent with the inspectors, except that he noted some additional problems. Bear Lake's attorney responded with an offer of only $2,000 to settle the matter, and requested access to inspect the roof before it was replaced. We gave them a two week deadline to inspect, but they never replied. We then had the roof replaced to prevent additional damage to the house. We are now considering a lawsuit, but would prefer to settle the matter out of court, if possible.
