Reviews to Install Premade Kitchen Cabinets in La Crosse

AKitchen Solvers of La Crosse
Kitchen Solvers redid our kitchen cabinets in 2014 and they still look brand new. Our kitchen is in a configuration that could not be changed. Suzie offered good advise on crown molding and door styles. Brian was able to make 2 cabinets smaller to accommodate a larger microwave and higher refrigerator. One large cabinet had a shelf for the microwave. Brian removed and made a new cabinet that matched perfect. We increased our storage. Brian installed the microwave and even offered to replace the trim around the kitchen window which needed repair. Brian arranged for the plumber which we continue to use A+ Family Plumbing. Brian and his assistant did a great job of clean up. The assistant commented what good quality our old cabinets were so it was great to update at a reasonable cost. Suzie and Brian are timely, honest, and just nice people. I highly recommend Kitchen Solvers!

ABluff Country Woodworks
He was able to make them match perfectly, the wood is beautiful wood, finished the inside of the cabinets, and everything works perfectly.  I am amazed with the final product.  He did exactly what I wanted him to do.

FBrand Floors
Our contractor chose Brand Floors for our cabinets because they said we could get cherry cabinets for a lower price than their other vendor.  The process was difficult from the start because Kevin (I don't remember his last name, but he is the owner) is a good salesman but was not good at listening to our needs or concerns.  At one point, when we expressed concern about the time it was taking to get the samples and design layout, he said that because we weren't in "the industry" we couldn't possibly understand how it works and that time wouldn't be an issue.   He became increasingly condescending and dismissive, and we eventually asked our builder to communicate with him instead of us having to do it. When it came time to install the cabinets, they weren't ready.  Our move-in date was pushed back three times because the cabinets weren't in.  They'd make appointments to install them but be a no-show. After more than three weeks of this, the cabinets arrived and were installed.  However, they did not follow the nomenclature we and Kevin had signed.  We had drawers instead of cabinets in two places places, we were missing three sets of roll-out drawers, our spice rack wasn't included, the shelves were falling, the doors were falling off, and one cabinet was a different size.  When we complained, Kevin was quick to send the cabinet guy out to fix the problems, which was great.  However, some problems weren't fixable.  The resized cabinet and the two places we had drawers instead of cabinets couldn't be changed.  When I mentioned that, Kevin repeatedly pointed out that they had apparently supplied us with extra cabinets for the laundry room at no charge.  I stated "So we are just supposed to eat your mistakes because you gave us an extra cabinet?"  He replied that he meant nothing by his comment and then said, "Don't p*** off the new mommy!" to me, as I'd just given birth about a week before.  I found his comment sexist, condescending, and completely inappropriate.  I was disgusted that he would say something like that to a customer and then assume we were too dumb to notice the complete lack of professionalism. At the conclusion of this discussion, he thanked us for our patience and said he would send us a Visa gift card for a few hundred dollars to offset the differences from the nomenclature, but we have received nothing.  I waited to write this review to see if he would follow through on his promise, but after nine months, I think it's a safe bet that our gift card is not on its way.  Our cabinets look beautiful, and the little issues aren't visible, but the complete lack of responsibility and follow through make it impossible for me to recommend this company to anyone.

ARestoration Carpentry
We received a bid of 47K from another company for remodeling our kitchen. There was no way we could afford that. When I shared this with Bobby, he called me a couple of days later and said, Char, I think we can give you what you want (my main objective was more counter space for food prep) at or near the price you can afford . He then drove 2 hours (we live in Wisconsin) to show us the plans he had drawn up. When I saw them, I was ecstatic. Long story short, we now have a beautifully functioning kitchen AND I have 43% more counter space. Bobby literally turned a one-person kitchen into one that can easily accommodate five or six people comfortably. Bobby s outstanding work ethic, craftsmanship, attention to detail, punctuality, and friendliness is unparalleled. We are more than happy with the job he did for us. He doesn't know it yet, but we have a bathroom remodel that is calling his name...
