Recent Review: I love my new roof! Jasmin went above and beyond helping me to pick out the right type and color shingles for my house. She personally drove me around the neighborhood and told me what type of shingle and color I was looking at so I could relate to what I was seeing when a shingle was on a roof versus trying to imagine what a small sample on a sample board would look like on a full roof. She even brought over loose shingles for three final types I was trying to decide on and laid them out in blocks on my lawn so I could see how the shingles looked in a large patch. And if that wasn't enough she personally drove with me to a wholesale shingle distributor so I could look at a large supply of shingles. She really understood that it was a big decision for me and I wanted to make sure that I would be happy with the end product. This company offered me the best overall price for my roof job which also included rain gutters and a cricket (which diverts water flow away from the chimney). The crew showed up and helped move things out of my garage so nothing would get broken during the process. They laid down plastic sheeting to collect the debris that would be falling. They cleaned up after the first layer of plywood was laid down.
Recent Review: LMJ Contracting and Howard Felix did an excellent job from start to finish. Before the job, Howard came out a few times to bring us shingle samples. He was patient and once we chose the shingle we wanted, he provided us with a reasonable and complete quote on the work to be done. We did pay extra to have more nails securing the shingles as we do sometimes have high winds in the area. It cost more than we thought it should but we did opt for this feature for the benefits. The work start a few days late, but that was due to the delivery schedule of the shingle distributor. Once the work started, the job was completed in about a week. His roofers doing the actual work were courteous and professional. About the only negative aspect, although minor, was that a ladder was left overnight propped to the side of the house that could have given access to anyone wanting to get on the roof and enter through the second story. After talking with them, this did not occur again. Upon my limited visual inspection, the job was done very well with attention to detail. Clean up was excellent, with no trash and no nails left. There was a box of unused shingles that was left for any future repairs. Overall, I would highly recommend LMJ Contracting and Howard Felix to anyone wanting to have their roofing replaced. We did recommend LMJ to several of our immediate neighbors wanting to replace their roofing. They also had the same positive experience. Note: we had a storm recently which for three days brought sustained winds of 40 mph and gusts up to 65 mph. As far and I can see, the roofing held up well. I can't say the same for a section of our fencing which was blown down (not installed by LMJ Contracting).
Recent Review: They did exactly what they said they were going to do. I was very happy with them. I spent $6000 on their services. They did really well. I will definitely use their services again in the future if I needed to.
Recent Review: Perfect. Mr Gibson did exactly what he said he would do, when he said it would be done, and without a single issue. His employees are the best that have done work at our home and the home has been entirely renovated so there have been many difference workers. Mr. Gibson even solved an HVAC issue for me that two HVAC companies had been unable to resolve! We would hire him again without reservation.
Recent Review: They added metal flashing and replace dry rot where new roofing was installed over rotted wood which was made worse because the original roofer had not installed metal flashing to guide the rain water into the gutter. These people did a great job and kept me informed of options and progress of work all during the project. They were not the first company I tried to get to fix the roof due to the inspector's comments when I purchased the home. I couldn't even get the first two companies to follow through with an estimate. Raindrop's people were prompt, courteous and did a GREAT JOB!

They replaced our roof which included tearing off 4 layers and also dealing with a difficult flat roof area on a dormer. We were very impressed with the team...the cleanup was very thorough and the end product was beautiful! Would highly recommend.

ATom Leach Roofing
I e-mailed Tom Leach Roofing to ask for a bid for putting on a new roof (membrane) on the flat roof section of our house. Aaron responded promptly and got me a bid by the next day. Once I agreed and paid the down payment, he and his crew completed the job just a few days later, all in one day. Additionally, he found some extra work he needed to do to make the roof drain better, which did not add to the cost of the job. He and the crew cleaned up very nicely after completing the job and the flat roof looks great.

We met Andrey when his company was replacing the roof on a house down the street form us. He came down to our house, borrowed a ladder, climbed up on the garage roof, and took measurements. He said the roll roofing was the wrong material for that roof and had been improperly installed. He recommended an STA torch-down roofing material that he said would form a better seal on the flat roof, particularly at the corners and edges of the parapets. He gave us an estimate of $825 for labor and materials, but said the cost might go higher if when they got the old roofing off they found there was dry rot in the plywood underlayment. He included in the estimate what it would cost for the materials and labor to replace each 4'x8' section. He also checked with the supplier at that time to make sure the color of roofing we wanted was in stock. His team arrived a little late on the appointed day, but Andrey (who was sick as a dog that day and stayed off the job site, but talked to us regularly by phone) assured us they would complete the job that day. His two-man crew worked very efficiently and professionally. They did find dry rot and had to replace four sheets of plywood - which added approximately $140 to the cost. When they went to pick up the roofing material they learned the supplier was one roll short. From his sick bed Andrey called all the suppliers in Portland and Vancouver, but no one had that color. Fortunately we had a back-up color that matched the roof on the house, and so they used that color instead and the job was not delayed. His team completed the job on time. They were very friendly and picked up and hauled away even the smallest debris - they even asked the neighbor if they could go in her yard to pick up a couple of small pieces of paper that blew over there. A few days later, when he was feeling better, Andrey came out and climbed up on the roof to inspect their work. It has rained hard in Portland since they completed re-roofing the garage and we've had no leaks. In fact, an area where we used to get standing water in the garage when it rained, water that we thought was coming through the foundation, has been dry since the roof was repaired. Apparently the water was coming down the wall and the roof repairs stopped that leak too.

Brisco Roofing submitted the lowest of three separate bids to replace the roof on our home. The crew did an excellent job on the new roof. We made a cash deposit for the work, and the staff carefully explained the materials and work that would be done to replace the roof.
