AWilson Plumbing And Repairs
I have never been so happy to do do a review: Mike Wilson is AWESOME. Bought a fixer-upper in Aberdeen. Quickly realized there were many plumbing issues. The water pressure was way over 100 PSI - probably pushing 120 PSI - and was breaking the cheap 100 PSI gauges from Home Depot. As such, things like cheap plastic sprayer hoses in the kitchen sink and supply lines to toilets were leaking everywhere. Every day was a new adventure. Mike ordered a pressure regulator and came back about a week later to install it when he had the part. While he was there, he took a quick look at the other issues around the house. He fixed every one of them .... every single one .... for about the price I had budgeted for JUST the pressure reducer! He worked quickly and neatly, and was honest to a fault about what would work and what would not. When I offered him another 30 minutes of work, he somewhat refused, saying that the replacement fixture I wanted in the kitchen sink would just clog up after a couple of months. Instead, he fixed the existing fixture in about 10 minutes. Great guy, seems to be super honest, and I cannot imagine using another plumber in this area as long as Mike is working.

Took 12 weeks to get materials. Shower pan had a permanent stain but was installed anyway. A crack was found in the porcelain. Manufacturer determined it was not a defect but a result of either being dropped or improperly installed. Certified mail sent to installer ignored for weeks. Installer finally showed up to look. Another two months have gone by with no contact or resolution.

They have also installed windows and insulation in the past and are renovating a room now for us. He has helped me find people to hang drywall and install carpet for me also. They are wonderful.

ARain Shadow Handyman
Very well and we enjoyed meeting the owners business associates for the granite and the mirror installation. Each was very professional and the owner of Rainshadow Handyman discussed each step in detail prior to installation. A pleasure to recommend this licensed and insured business.

AJoseph's Home improvements
Joseph installed some very tricky glass tiles in my kitchen following a complete kitchen remodel. He spent 14 hours all together--ten of those hours the first day. I got the tile on sale but didn't realize the complexity of installing glass tile of irregular size. It required an electric saw with a diamond blade and much skill. Joseph had come highly recommended and he didn't disappoint. He was very professional and easy to work with. He even taught me how to cut and install the tile so that I was able to save some money by doing the two bathrooms myself.

The work was accomplished in a completely professional and timely manner. The installation required modification to the master bath room. All was done to our satisfaction at a very reasonable price.
Recent Review: Incredibly well. We had just remodeled the bathrooms. Another local company removed the toilets for us and was scheduled to install new faucets. Their plumber installed the new kitchen faucet - wrong - and it did not work correctly. He made a horrible mess in the bathrooms. We asked him to leave. And when we talked to his supervisor, she defended his work. We called Mr. Tucker and explained we had a 'clean up' job. We were so pleased with his work. He made sure the work space was protected before he started. It took no time for him to correct the kitchen faucet. He corrected the first bathroom faucet - said it just takes 'patience' to do it correctly. Installed the other two faucets and left no mess behind. We should have called him first.

Recent Review: The templaters/installers were fantastic. They were on time and very prepared, kept our home clean, and kept to within the time estimated for each task. Our project coordinator, however, was not very responsive or informative. The information we initially received was "cut and paste" which was disappointing and unprofessional since it wouldn't have taken long to share just the pertinent information for our job. Our telephone messages were slow to be returned, the wrong sink was ordered (and caught during templating), and we were accidentally emailed with a complaint from a different client. On installation day, the installers were here just after 8:30a verses the 10-12p window we were quoted (and the installers were surprised to hear of the later times given) so we needed to scramble to prepare, but it was a good time for us. They did an excellent job, and I was most impressed with them. When I called to confirm a window for the plumber's arrival the next day, I was told that he would call ?sometime this evening to let us know where we were on his routing tomorrow.? I was a little surprised to hear that there was no window at all. When I questioned that news, I was told I could call him directly to find out. While I don?t have trouble making phone calls, I was a little put out that this was given to me to find out instead of a ?let me see what we can do to get that time window for you? approach. We definitely felt that we were not a customer. In the end, however, our counter tops were beautiful and fit perfectly. Would we use them again? Probably not. It's too bad, considering this is a problem that can be easily rectified with a little training and follow through.
Recent Review: The installation went OK but after they left we waited the 2 hours to let it heat up and it did not seem to produce consistently hot water. Called back and they had the tech call us back. He said he did not replace the valves. He came out the next day to corrected this.It now seems to work OK but not as good as the old one. I think I will try turning the tank up.
