AWalla Walla Electric
I was really pleased with the work. The only hiccup was the apprentice electrician forgetting to put an o-ring on one of the light switches.

It went very smooth, no glitches, no unexpected mishaps or charges. Dan went the extra mile to make sure everything was done right and looked good.

I found the contractor that I will be using for all future work.  I called and left a message asking for two small repairs in a home we just bought.  Tim returned my call the same evening and told me that he could work me into his schedule on the weekend.  That Saturday he showed up on time and made the needed repairs.  To think that he was willing to work with me on a small job like this I can only imagine his dedication to all the work he performs.  He told me that he tries to work with everyone who calls—he sure did for us.  I can wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone.

The work was fine. In the beginning Mitch came on time, gave me an estimate, and then came back and did the work. I wanted to change the light switch in my bedroom to a toggle switch…one at the door and one over my bed. He talked me into having the hand held device to change the light on the fan. Eventually I realized that really did not fix my personal problem because if I forget to turn the light off before I get to bed I have to get up and go turn it off. For most people that's okay, but my back is so bad it hurts to get into bed and to get out…which is why I wanted the toggle switch. I calle him back and told him I'd like him to stop by because I wanted to go ahead and get the toggle switch installed. He said he would call me, but he never did. Don't remember if I left another message again, but never did hear from him. One of the motion lights quit working properly, but don't want to call him now. Called another electrician and that didn't work out either.

I was recommended to Silas Potter. Called him and he was able to come out that very day. Super professional, nice fellow. Had no problem doing my small jobs. Arrived on time, friendly and a super fair price. We'll certainly call him in the future.

Fine, he removed the old, boxes and installed the new ones. They look great and he was done in less then an hour. He has done lots of other things for me in the past and has been very helpful and friendly.

CBeech Grove Electric
The first visit in September, they installed a new motion light in place of a previous flood light. The second motion light was already installed, but not working. They fixed an indoor switch and checked a breaker that turned out to be working ok. The problem was that they couldnt find any power at the two motion lights. The house was built in 1937, but has updated wiring. I didnt understand how they could not find power at an existing flood light location. I had checked it with my own volt meter days earlier, and it was hot. Beech Grove suggested that the garage switches may control the lights, so they left me to explore it. Turns out the garage switch didnt help. Beech Grove was scheduled for a return trip on 10/7 to get the lights working. Before the visit, Kenny called to discuss what I owed and what additional costs would be incurred. I appreciated this upfront coordination. However, I was surprised when he informed me that I would owe in excess of $300 for the first visit, that resulted in one hallway light being fixed. To finish the motion lights, worst case, Kenny said it would take two new power feeds from the basement to the lights, totaling $636.50. Both of these numbers seemed high, because I had budgeted about $250 on these minor repairs. As a comparison, earlier this year Kenny upgraded my entire electrical panel for just $1200. I decided to let Kenny finish the work as quoted. When my pregnant wife met him the next morning to exchange keys, Kenny gave her an earful about what a difficult person I was to work for. Apparently, none of his other customers question his pricing or request to be billed once the work is complete. This was the last straw for me. We had an extensive phone conversation the night before, and everything was settled. He didnt need to bother my wife with his opinions.

Lincoln  Breithaupt  was great.  He was referred to us by our real estate agent, Don Edgmon of Scott Realty.  He was available when we needed him, showed up on time, was friendly, listened to our concerns, inspected the situation to determine what was really needed, explained everything clearly, and did the work in a timely manner.  As a result we have  no more issues with ground, reverse polarity, things that don't work.  He also followed up a couple of days later to make sure everything was OK.

AMANEMAN ELECTRIC INC
Repeat customers are a clue to how good a business is and we are repeat customers for Maneman Electric.  We used them in 2013 to upgrade the electrical in our older home and, because of their excellent work and reasonable prices, we chose them again. We were not disappointed.  They were always professional, did great work and cleaned up after themselves.  The price was great for all the work they did and they did the work in a very reasonable time frame.   They will always be the first company we go to for any electrical needs we have.  Thank you Maneman Electric for a great job and a great price.

BMister Quik Home Services
I had budgeted about $300 for the dishwasher/disposal wiring, plus a few other misc electrical improvements. However, it cost $350 for the 1 hour of work on the dishwasher/disposal, so I was forced to do the other work myself. For example, I needed a light switch installed at the basement stairs. That was quoted at $266! I also needed a light and plug installed in my garage, which was quoted at $450! I can do some basic electrical work, and this seemed really expensive. Quik also works off a price list, so there is no negotiating for a unique situation, just auto-robot pricing. If time were not an issue, I would probably go with a journeyman electrician who does side jobs next time. There's definitely a trade off between professionalism and pricing. The last electrician I used was much less professional than Mr Quik, but only charged me $80 for a new garage outlet.

Recent Review: Dan made excellent recommendations by phone, and also upon arrival, based on my needs for installation of a ceiling fan and wall switch. He was flexible when I asked if he would do additional work rewiring the lights in the garage, plus installing a light switch and light in the garage attic. Dan gave me reasonable estimates both by phone and at the job when I asked for additional work. He and his associate were very polite, respectful of our property, and good natured. I have asked Dan to return for additional work. Go2Electric is the electrician service to Go2!

Recent Review: They were very accommodating to fix the several electrical jobs we proposed, the electrician did not have everything on the truck (we needed new light cannisters) so he made the trip to hardware store to get the right fixture, he was also very fast & efficient.
