Recent Review: From the beginning I was impressed by Mark from Inland's knowledge and expertise in quickly knowing what this roof needed. He pointed out the transition from the roof to the patio cover needed flashing added, before I had a chance to bring it up. This had been a source of leaks for years despite my attempts to fix it. He quickly made out an itemized list of all the things that he recommended be done to complete the project. Mark wrote up a proposal a of $ 6250 which did not include tax. and the cost of the Spokane County permit which turned out to be $236.74. Going into this I had no idea what the cost would be, and Inland's was the first of 3 estimates I got. I contacted them all based on their reviews on Angie's List. Inland's was not the cheapest bid I got. One other bid was quite a bit higher and the other pretty close to the one I chose. Mark was very easy to reach by e-mail, cell phone and communicated very well and promptly . There were several questions which I had for him, and there were several options he had for me. He was very open about the cost of options such as the additional roof vents, these were all listed in the proposal. There ended up being a problem getting the correct color of ridge cap as they had been discontinued by Owens Corning. The option was to upgrade to a newer thicker style. Mark was very up front that it would be and additional $180 if I went with that choice which I did. He was also very up front about the fact that Inland does not work without the proper permits, insurance, construction liens, etc. As we know this is not always the case with contractors. Inland notified us a day ahead of when their crew would begin the work, and they were right on time. The work was started on 6/9 and completed on 6/12. They were a very professional crew, very polite and knew what they were doing. John and Mark from Inland were both on site at times to inspect the work. I am very happy that I chose Inland to do my roof. I really do not have any negatives to list. They did what they said they would do and met all the requirements of the contract. They have a solid reputation, and have been around a lot of years. I feel that if there is a problem down the road, for whatever reason, they would be there to work with me. They have a 5 year workmanship warranty and the Owens Corning lifetime warranty on the shingles. I also had several of their installers thank me for choosing them and you don't get that everyday!

Recent Review: Landon Lybbert of Kodiak Concrete Lifting leveled our walkway between the driveway and front entry steps. Besides adjusting the slopes of the walkway portions, he had to balance the angle of the driveway on one end of the walkway with the flat edge of the entry steps on the other. The finished result looks terrific. The concrete is exposed aggregate, yet the hole-filling and edge-mating material that was added blends very well with the original appearance. He also leveled two concrete patio pads in the backyard. The cost was quite reasonable, and Landon was extremely professional. We would highly recommend Kodiak's services to anyone with broken, sagging, or uneven concrete.

Recent Review: They did an awesome job. They came highly recommended. They aren't cheap though. You get what you pay for. It was a lot of money. I thought some of the pricing he gave us on some of the components were high. He is the best. Two people came out and it took six hours. They left the area clean. The workers were awesome.
Mike arrived on time, listened to our ideas, contributed ideas to our plan, gave us an estimate, and a reasonable target date. He responded to all phone calls and emails. His crew arrived on time, were skilled and helpful, and worked very hard. The job was completed on time and within budget. We love our new patio and landscaping and would certainly hire this company again!

Don't walk, RUN from this guy. Jerry told me on the phone he’d done several patios in my neighborhood and since he had just turned down a job he had an opening for the next two weeks. He made an appointment to review the job. He stood me up. “Sorry, got busy…”. He made another appointment. Never heard from him until the next day. “Sorry, had to do something…” Over the course of the next 4 weeks, had did this MANY times. I told him I needed the job done in the next two weeks because I had another project that had to wait on the patio,. “No problem.” He surveyed the yard and told me he could easily do it under $5,000. I asked him for a quote and a timeline. Never got either. He kept putting me off with one excuse after another. My next project contractor was being held up by now. And after 4 weeks, Jerry leaves me a VM that he will decline the job because the access to my back yard was inadequate. He had seen that access many times and had previously told me it was fine. He is a liar. Now he is blaming me for not taking the job. I would have gone to another contractor early on but did not have any other choices and he kept telling me he was honest and had integrity and I could trust him. He strung me along for 4 weeks and then bailed. He is not a professional and I doubt he has ever done a patio. He really bailed because after 4 weeks he finally did the math and realized it was way over $5,000. He at least got almost $500 from me for mowing my postage stamp lawn, fertilizing and trimming two trees. And he told me he was not charging me full price. What a bargain.

AAlpine Patio Concepts
Alpine Patio Concepts was recommended to us by another construction company we had used. We later found out that several of our neighbors had used them as well. The job was completed in about two weeks. They cleaned up very well after the job was complete. Our experience with them was excellent and we are perfectly happy with the job.

BLONDON STONEWORKS LLC
We met with Roger to discuss our thoughts on new backyard, he had several good ideas about installing a useful patio, while retaining some grass for our dogs - so we didn't just have a big slab of cement. He was quick to come up with an estimate, and then subsequently we changed our minds a few times, expanding the project for a bigger patio with no lawn, and he was again very quick with thoughts and estimate. We also decided to have the side yard done with large slabs of blue stone after seeing how nice it looked. Roger completed side yard with dark cedar mulch.

Mike and crew did an excellent job. From coming up with the solutions for the two paver projects and helping to envision the patio's final layout to completing the project in a timely and conscientious manner with attention to detail and clean-up, working with Desert Sun was a pleasure. I'd highly recommend them.
