Recent Review: We were setting in concrete sidewalk panels and when our precaster showed up with the sidewalk panels, they were a little too big. It was kind of an emergency, we just needed somebody right away. The precaster had referred Evergreen to us. We called them, they came right away and got it done. We were done by the end of the day. We had no delays or anything for the job because they came right out and cut those down for us.

Recent Review: All work was completed within a week including getting the work permit and coordinating inspections with the city. There was minimal impact on my next door neighbors or the neighborhood in general. Job site housekeeping at the end of each work day was excellent. Daniel Kruger and his crew were great to work with and did an excellent job, and I highly recommend them for similar work elsewhere!!

Recent Review: Terrible. Should have taken 2-3 weeks, took 2 years. Horrible communication, no shows on many occasions with no call. Rude, unknowledgeable about some of the work, damaged siding on house and garage, poured concrete with no rebar as specified in contract so he had to rip it out and re-do it. Kept bad mouthing concrete materials in Idaho and how small our job was compared to the "big work" he is used to doing. Kept saying he had 30 years of experience but it didn't show. His wife only caused more confusion and made statements of work that would be done then denied it because it wasn't itemized. They finally made everything right but it took forever and he couldn't leave without making more snide remarks about how he should have charged us more. We paid everything on time as requested. We took pictures before, during and after - which we were prepared to use in court if he didn't fix all the mistakes and damages. We will contract out the remaining work they said they would do to someone reliable and experienced. I do not recommend calling them - they will tell you what you want to hear but then you will only get problems and excuses. 10,000.00 and 2 years later......UGH!

Recent Review: The bid was for $2200. That included creating the forms for the new sidewalk, pouring that sidewalk, pouring the concrete for the hot tub pad, and clean up. My dad and I had the forms set for the hot tub all ready before they started their portion. Monday, day one they never showed up. Day two the got there pretty late in the morning. It wasn't the owner it was a cousin or something. I wrote the cousin a check for half on day two, $1100. Once they did finally get started they didn't have all the tools needed to complete the days work. They borrowed our wheelbarrow. They didn't have to take the dirt they removed off site. We let them dump it in an old pond. The following days went very similar. Showed up 11-12. Worked a few hours and then left. Meanwhile, we had our hot tub scheduled to be moved on Friday. They assured me during the bid they would be pouring concrete on Wed and the hot tub pad would be ready by Friday, no problem. That didn't happen. They didn't pour until Thursday afternoon. I had to reschedule the hot tub move. The clean was non existent. They grumbled about the rocks I wanted out of my yard and I made them clean my neighbors yard. They swept all the extra gravel off my driveway and into my yard. Overall, the sidewalk looks pretty good. I hope it withstands the elements as I am certain they don't warranty their work. Meanwhile, Mr. Rorabeck hasn't been on the job site more than 1 hour this whole time. But apparently was there long enough to break a part of the fence. He came by on Saturday to repair this part of the fence and to get the rest of the money. He fixes the fence and then takes my husband ( who has been out of town the whole week and doesn't really know what's going on) out of ear shot. He asks for $1250. That's $150 more than the original quote. He said the extra was for the hot tub pad and wheelbarrowing. My husband, not knowing any better wrote him a check. Of course, I was super mad. $150 is not a crazy amount of money but the issues we had with them and then to secretly ask for more money. I was fuming. I exchanged several text messages with Mr. Rorabeck to no avail. I told him my mistake was not getting his quote and everything included with in writing. He made additional snarky remarks and I quit responding. I told him I would tell anyone that would listen about the shoddy company he has his name on.

Recent Review: I was satisfied at the time Orland Ferraro finished the job in August 2013 because I trusted him from my co-worker.  I told him I trusted him because I don't know about concrete.  However, I found six big cracks after the job was done in April 2014.  I called him and told his wife, the owner of the company, Linda Ferraro, that I was unhappy.  When he called back, he told me rudely to look around, concrete cracks everywhere you look, and there's nothing he can do about it. There are large cracks on the stairs on my front porch.  He claimed that he has 'over 30 years experience'.  How could such an experienced contractor poured only 2 inches or less of concrete on the old existing stairs?  It did not make sense.  I consulted several contractors and a structural engineer.  The work is below standard.  It is a bad idea to pour concrete over existing stairs.  They will crack and they won't last.  I paid for new stairs, not a cover over my old ones.  The only solution I was told is to remove them, form new ones and pour new stairs, which will cost $1,850.   Orlando Ferraro assured me that the water would run away from my garage.  On the side of the garage water is draining towards the garage and ponding against the garage.  It's not a small puddle. How could he tell it's a small puddle if he's not here when it rains?  It's a large puddle.  He brought me 2 tubes of silicon sealant to have me seal the edge of the garage.  He claimed it cost $50 each.  I looked up online, it only cost about $5 each.  He also made a suggestion to saw cut the concrete so it can drain.  However, it'll look terrible.  I paid $4,300 for the project for a saw cut?  And I have to wait until the fall, when he has time, to do it.  He was able to get the work done within a week after I ordered the job.  This is how he treats customers.  What do you think?  I am unhappy because he has no respect for me.  If he is a professional concrete man, he would take his time to take care of unhappy customers.   I rented a metal detector.  There's no rebar in my parking slab which he told me he would use. I have cracks in the patio he poured in August 2013 because he did not pull the stakes that were on the inside of the form until after the concrete dried.  It left big pockets along the edge.  This has caused cracking, and it looks terrible.   He broke the asphalt when the concrete truck backed up to the edge.  I told him I wanted a nice professional rounded finish, like a driveway should look, when I ordered the job.  That's not what I got for $4,300!   There was also a tire mark next to the patio in the dirt where the significant cracks are.  That showed his workers pulled up on it with their heavy machinery.  When I told him about that, he said his workers did not do it, like he did not believe me.  And he is going to do anything about it.   He claimed that he does not 'make' the concrete.  I understand that, but if he has the skill, there shouldn't be this many cracks.  Look around, all new concrete is not cracked this bad.   You would think nearly $10,000 you get flawless work.   Orlando Ferraro's company license was suspended on August 28, 2013, the day I paid him for $5,543.  Now, he's running his business under his son's name.  Why?  By the way on that day Orlando Ferraro was yelling at his employees in my front yard so loudly that all my neighbors could hear him.  My neighbor behind my house could hear him. On his website: www.ferraroconcrete.com he claims that his business is BBB Accredited.  However, the truth is the business is not BBB ACCREDITED.  I contacted BBB about this.    I am very unhappy and because of the way he treated me, I won't trust him again.
