Recent Review: Alex Barraza remodeled my master bathroom and he did an amazing job! He removed my jacuzzi tub and replaced it with a large beautiful tile shower with two tile benches, pebble floor, double shower heads. It came out great and his tile work was perfect. He also tiled the bathroom floor, replaced the double vanity, installed new ceiling vent with heater and converted my old shower stall into a linen closet. I could not be happier with his work. I will definitely use him again for my next project.

Recent Review: We had used Mosaik Design and Remodel in the past for a kitchen remodel and were impressed with the quality of their work and the modern look, therefore we contacted them for quotes to remodel two small bathrooms.  We received a detailed quote ($72,500) which seemed reasonable to us since we had asked for a rough quote about 8 years previously which was $70,000.  We accepted the quote.  Our choices were to have both bathrooms done at the same time and move out of the house during that time or do one bathroom at a time.  We chose the second option. The first bathroom was the Master bathroom.  Solid cardboard was laid down from our front door (shortest route out) to the bathroom.  The bathroom was isolated with a plastic zip door.  The existing bathroom was demoed  in a day with materials being removed cleanly through the house.  Installations included glass shower with rainhead and hand showers and a teak folding seat, quartz composite vanity top and waterfall type application into the shower, custom recessed medicine cabinet, new high velocity, quiet exhaust fan, ADA single piece, clean flush, automatic seat- closing toilet; travertine floor tile (see below), ceramic tile walls with wall accent, led light over the medicine cabinet and a can light in the center of the room.  Other smaller items  included, faucets, grab bars, sink, etc. Scott Jaworski was the manager for the project.  He provided a schedule and visited the job site daily.  He checked the work of the subcontractors to make sure of the quality.  One of the reasons we chose Mosaik was that most of the subcontractors had worked with Mosaik for over 15 years, that's got to say something about their quality workmanship.  Scott paid absolute attention to details, the slightest error was fixed immediately (most of which I did even see).  Although we made changes, travertine floor from porcelain tile, hot water loop, re-piping hot and cold water lines, and heated floors, Scott was able to hold to the original schedule. Erin Davis worked with my wife on the design in selecting materials and colors.  Erin was extremely patient and provided many alternatives when needed.  The heated floor and travertine tile were examples which exhibited the patience of Erin.  Initially we did not consider a heated floor, however Erin suggested that in most of their installations, they were installing heated floors, so we decided to try it.  My wife and I absolutely love it.  My wife was a little hesitant about the color of the porcelain flooring.  Erin suggested travertine tile, which definitely appealed to my wife.  Even though my wife loved the travertine tile as it was being laid out, the variation was to great and we did not like it at all.  But by this time my wife fell in love with travertine.  Erin managed to contact the supplier in Portland and allowed us to look through each batch until we found a batch with the right color and minimal variation.  Normally customers can not do this, however Erin made it happen--patience going from porcelain tile to wide variation travertine to a more acceptable travertine.   The subcontractors were fantastic, their work was high quality, they cleaned up each day, and they were very pleasant to have in our home.  The guest bathroom followed the same procedure as the Master bathroom, with the exception being a bathtub with a hand shower head installation and we had a pocket door installed which replaced an inward swing door.  We used the same style fixtures as in the Master bathroom. The addition of the pocket door lead to the skim coating and painting of the hallway.  The contractor sealed off all the rooms exiting to the hall way with plastic and covered the floor.  The skim coating and sanding was a little overwhelming for us and we spent 3 days at a nearby motel.  The subcontractors did an excellent job of minimizing the dust and clean up the area when they finished.  We have 3 skylights in the hallway that have small tunnels going from our ceiling to the skylight.  A difficult job at best to skim coat there but the subcontractors did an outstanding job, which turned out to be much better than the original job. The same held true for the paint crew, high quality and cleaned up when done. We are very pleased and happy with the result.  Scott provided us with a schedule, which he changed several times only to rearrange things so that he could stay on schedule.  Scott said that Mosaik worked at finding outstanding subcontractors and from the results Mosaik has done a good job at that. We enjoyed working with Erin and Scott and are delighted with our final bathrooms.  In our opinion, Mosaik is a great company, they provide quality work and are easy to work with.  We definitely will use them again.

Review for Longview Master Bathroom Remodeling

ALet's Remodel
It was a pleasure to work with Pavel. He was on time for our appointments and made polite suggestions of his own ideas. I had a concept of what the new bathroom would look like and showed Pavel the pictures I got off Pinterest. We combined our ideas, and my newly remodeled bathroom turned out beautifully. Pavel’s crew demolished the old vanity, tore down a pocket door wall and removed the tub and toilet. He built a tiled walk-in shower, a custom vanity and a varnished wood barn door that separates the bathroom from the bedroom. Pavel used quality material and was responsive to my feedback throughout the project. The result exceeded my expectations, and I could not be happier with the end product.

ACreative Tile and Remodel LLC
Tibor and his son Norbi did a great job handling my master bathroom remodel. Their crew was always on time and cleaned up after their job. His quote was also significantly less than most of the other remodelers. After the job, there was a small problem with the tiled shower drain. But Tibor took care of it quickly.

ACreative Tile and Remodel LLC
Creative Tile and Remodeling did a great job. They took our master bathroom back to the studs and completely remodeled the bath. The owner, Tibor, was great to work with and his crew and subs were very good. We had a vision of what we wanted and Tibor came through and made that vision a reality. The detail work was terrific as we used a lot of tile and natural stone. All the walls are porcelain tile in Oak, made with a 3D printer. The floor is 1 inch hex honey onyx and all the fixtures are finished in stain copper. We are truly pleased with the work and experience.

Using our design wishes, the owner, Mark WIlliams, in addition to giving us professional advice, performed demolition, installed tile floors, tile shower floors and walls, tiled walk-in bathtub surrounds, backsplashes, and over saw the quartz counter acquisitions, including sinks. His professional advice was well considered and I sure saved us a lot of money. I have nothing but praise for all the operations as performed. They were done in a timely fashion with minimal expense, and careful attention to detail. The tile setter, Rob, is an artisan, a pleasure to work with, and a careful caretaker of his workplace. The result is magnificent.

We could not be more pleased with our decision to hire BSC to remodel our master bathroom and hall bathroom. They worked with us closely throughout the entire process, from the initial design and demolition to the installation of finishes. Every time an issue arose, BSC had a solution--and none of those solutions involved charging us more money! This is a family business, and it was immediately clear that they had a close-knit and knowledgeable team that really cared about the work they were performing. They were respectful of our home, and cleaned and locked up each and every day before they left. Most importantly, they finished on schedule and on budget--and the craftmanship and work was incredible. We simply could not be happier. These are quality people running a quality company.

AALEX FREDDI CONSTRUCTION LLC
We had quite a few contractors come in but decided on Alex Freddi based on work they had done for several of our neighbors. They were not the cheapest but emphasized that one of their strengths was completing the work efficiently. While this led to a several month hold until they could start, it did pay off in the entire job being completed in less then a month. Gary manages the work well and their sub-contractors are excellent. They were also able to accommodate late in the game changes that one should always plan on occurring. Asked Gary to come by after the job was completed for some tweaking and he promptly did so. So in summary, while their may have been cheaper options, we feel the quality and efficiency of the work justified the price. As a general comment, while getting contractor estimates is fairly easy, figuring out the total cost of the project is a little more difficult. In our case, our total cost was an additional 65% over the contractor cost and we stayed fairly basic in our desires. We would suggest that when getting the contractor bid, you sit with them to get a list of and a range of the cost you will need to cover outside of those included in the contractor bid. As a general

Dan Stupur gave an estimate to remodel our bathroom.  The estimate was very reasonable. We signed up for him to do the work.  We made a time for them to start, but we had to leave to go out of town spit was delayed a month.  Even though they had other customers scheduled by the time we returned, they were able to fit us in. Dan was very easy to work with, he checked often to insure the subs were doing their job, he sent an email the day before each job letting us know who was coming and when they would arrive. We would recommend this company VERY Highly.  The sub contractors that Dan uses have been working with him of several years. They were efficient, arrived on time, cleaned up their messes each day before leaving, were friendly, and each did their individual jobs without any problems. Dan kept to the original price we had agreed on, except for a few minor additions we requested.  The cost for those additions were reasonable, we had no complaint. If we have any remodeling in the future, we would not hesitate to contact Dan again and we would recommend him to anyone looking for a jobs well done.    Rod & Joyce Flake

ACORNERSTONE TILE & MARBLE LLC
We were so happy with the last project, that we had Sergey remodel our master bathroom in granite, tile, cherry, and travertine. It turned out great... we especially appreciate the tile shower sergey put in. Sergey's broad knowledge of plumbing and demolitions was helpful on this project.
