Recent Review: THEY TOOK THE TIME TO DO IT RIGHT INCLUDING MAKING SURE THE GROUND WAS LEVEL, MAKING A CHANGE IN THE PRODUCT INSTALLED WITHOUT CHARGING MORE THAN THE ADDITIONAL COST OF MATERIALS, ETC. THEY ALSO STAYED WITHIN THE QUOTED PRICE. ONE OTHER NOTE, THEY WERE NOT THE HIGHEST OR LOWEST QUOTE (RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE) BUT WE FEEL WE RECEIVED THE FULL VALUE OF WHAT WE PAID.

Recent Review: Met him to do the quote and went over options and if we can use the existing posts. I decided to go with new posts. Everything went fine and we are happy with the results. It was installed on the first floor to cover an existing deck extending from a patio door. Our bedroom window is on the second floor above the patio cover. I do not hear any noise from rain falling on the cover from upstairs. You can hear rain when you are under the cover or near the downstairs window that the patio cover is above. The only item to mention is that 15' extending from the house will block out a fair amount of light.

We had our patio done 9 months ago and I continue to receive compliments on a regular basis. Today we had a professional here installing a sprinkler and he commented on the quality of the patio. Carey came to give me a bid and thoroughly explained the process and his bid; he treated me with great respect. We were quickly scheduled and the professional team completed the job in less than 3 days! Rather than weeks of muddy mess we had a new patio in days! Though we were very simple in our design, Carey suggested adding curves to the patio and it turned out so beautiful. I cannot recommend highly enough. If you need any paver work CD paver management is the place to call! 5 stars!

AAAA Solid Concrete Construction Inc
Tony, the owner is absolutely the best! Here is our story... We decided to buy a SwimSpa and knew our old patio wouldn't hold it. The people who sold us the spa also referred us to concrete contractors and electrical. We thought by using the people they normally work with, we wouldn't run into too many "oops" as they would know what is needed for the spa. Well it started off okay, ordered the spa (six weeks lead time), got our concrete bid and accepted it. We figured we should be able to get the concrete work done within six weeks, plenty of time. Ha! Suddenly the concrete guy was unavailable for weeks. I called our spa guy and he got a hold of the concrete guy and said no worries, we have you down and will call you with a start date. Never called or texted back after that until we fired them. Funny how the day we fire them, they can get back to us. Now we are at week five and no concrete. Desperate I looked on Angie's list and found AAA Solid Concrete. Good reviews, I'm calling. Immediately Tony calls back. He comes out quick and gives a bid. His bid came in only 85 dollars more and after doing some checking we realized his bid was WAY better. Better because the first guys bid did not replace the retaining wall. This wall would have been a huge eyesore in midst a new beautiful stamped concrete patio. I never even noticed it but Tony did. He has a real talent for what will look good. Trust his opinions!!! Personally I wasn't really super into the patio, I wanted the spa and the patio was just necessary because we wanted a nice integrated back yard. Not a spa in the middle of grass on a plain slab next to a crappie old patio. Again I was all about the spa but right now it is the best thing in our back yard. It is amazing and beautiful and I love it everyday I go out for a swim. Tony walked us through everything. Answered all my questions, all my text and phone calls quickly and politely. He sent us to a concrete store to look at color and textures. He offered his suggestions (which you should take because they were way better than anything we could think up, we don't know concrete and we aren't very special either.) He worked fast too, he knew we were past our deadline (at no fault of his) and worked very hard to get us done ASAP, he was even earlier than projected AWESOME! truly, If he wasn't very ethical he could of worked us over because we were desperate. The Spa was in the warehouse and if we didn't get it soon we could be charged extra every day it sat there. Tony also takes suggestions with out any hassle. We thought the retaining wall was great but wanted one more row higher. He said okay, got it done and never asked for an additional penny. I highly recommend Tony (and crew) for any concrete work. Everything he has done for us is excellent and he is the nicest guy. My one thing is trust his experience. Listen to what he suggests, he knows what he's talking about.

ACD Paver Management
This past summer I had a new patio installed. Since my professional background is in the design/construction industry with a degree in landscape architecture I drafted up design drawings and specifications for my project. Doing so would help ensure all companies were bidding apples to apples. I then did a lot of research on paving companies then solicited 7 bids from small and large companies, some who advertise in the newspaper. We met on site so I could get their input on my plans, including product specifications (paver brands, etc.). CD Paver Management’s bid was the low bidder. Not surprisingly the bids (including tax) ranged from a high of $39,082 to $21,493 ($17,589 difference). Typically, when bids are high companies have high overhead or did not understand the scope of work or were not really interested in doing the job. Additionally, when companies submit a low bid and are awarded the contract, they will submit additive change orders to try and make up for their low bid. Since you, the home owner, are already under contract and the work is underway you are usually at a disadvantage. After receiving the bids, I interviewed three of the companies to ensure their bids were based on my drawings and specifications and to hear their plan of attack. One of the companies told me they couldn’t reduce the existing stair risers from 7 ¼” to 6” as I specified. They also told me they could not replace the existing handrail and that I would have to have that done by someone else. When I met with Cary Stephenson of CD Paver Management, he assured me he could do all of that without any problems. During our multiple meetings Cary was a pleasure to work with. He answered all of my (many) questions and was very responsive to my texts. As with all construction projects there were some contentious issues that had to be resolved. Because of my detailed and thorough nature, we haggled about some items and the final price. Happy to say we worked it out amicably to a fair and reasonable solution. Cary’s crew was also a pleasure to work with. They are a hard-working group of guys. Their workmanship was really good. Having personally done some paving projects and being retired, I was on site every day and inspected their work. Whatever issues I brought up they resolved without question. They were meticulous in their work and were more than agreeable to do some minor additional work without nickel and diming me. There were no change orders except for some added scope that I requested. I was very pleased with the finished project and would highly recommend them to anybody. As an added bonus Cary’s crew was fun to work with. Roger # 1 (foreman) and Roger # 2 were really hard working and friendly. All of the other crew members were also hard working and great to work with. Carlos - aka “El Frojo” (-: was also a blast to work with. The project was done during the heat wave in August so as an appreciation for their hard work I gave them plenty of cold drinks and fruits every day. I was so pleased with their work I took the entire crew out to lunch. So, if you’re considering having some paving work done, I highly recommend CD Paver Management. You won’t be disappointed.

Kevin and Jody were great. From the time I contacted them when I was looking for a contractor to the time the patio was completed, they were helpful, thorough, and very responsive. Kevin had great attention to detail when providing a quote for the work, and Jody helped me throughout the process of choosing materials and scheduling. They were communicative when scheduling the work, and completed the work on time and left me with a patio that I love!

DA 1 Rockey Landscaping
I purchased the Big Deal for 120 square feet of patio plus the option for additional patio at $12 per square foot. The problems are too numerous to list and range from communication issues to professionalism issues, but the biggest issue is that they just did not know how to install a paver patio and the quality was beyond unacceptable at any price. I had to fire Rockey and his team after the first day because the patio was crooked (as in not straight), not square, and the surface was uneven. I had to tear out all of the work Rockey had done and start from scratch. That said, Rockey was professional enough to work out an agreement and he gave me a full refund less the deck removal and material I kept, so I am updating this review based on his cooperation to make things right. My new patio should be done next week but I am disappointed we had to live with a pile of mud and dirt in my back yard for a month. I know Rockey?s team has a high rating, perhaps his other services are better, but I could not recommend him for any paver patio work at all.

Jeff (Project Manager) and Juan (installer) were outstanding. Juan has superb craftsmanship and would I recommend him to anyone. Jeff took special care in removing the tags left by the utility locator service. He power washed it for over two hours to finally erase the paint. Thanks to Jeff and Juan, and to System Pavers. Second time I have used them and will repeat again for any future projects.

We had a hill and a very small builders grade patio in our backyard. Working with the team we came up with a design that tripled the size of our area. The results are spectacular. We now have a built in Barbecue/ Wood fired pizza oven and plenty of space to sit and eat outdoors. The crew that did the work was professional and courteous. As we worked the job they consulted us on any changes to the design, and suggested several different ways we could finish. We are incredibly happy with the final result.
