It went very well. We had an unusual floor plan in that the shower area was built on a round wall. This made retiling the shower a huge challenge. They were honest sharing with us what a challenge it would be to retile the shower but they were willing to take this project on. I had several other bids but no one was willing to take on my bathroom project because of the round wall. I was given good advice on what to tile to look for in order for this project to be successful. They were honest in telling me what products would work and what wouldn't work for this remodel. In the end, we were very happy with the final product. They would respond to any of my questions or concerns in a timely manner. They were helpful with suggestions on what I wanted to be done for the remodel. They made sure we were happy with the final product and took care of all loose ends before we the final payment was made.

The job did take a little longer than expected, and communication could have been a little better, but they did a beautiful job. Very professional workmanship, and very nice fellows to have working in your home.

AEmerald Isle Tile LLC
The people at Emerald Isle Tile are very easy to work with. They are all polite, respectful, and very professional. This was a month long project, with lots of different men coming and going. They were always on their A game. Their conversations, and interactions were professional and respectful. Never heard any sort of trash talk (I really appreciate that). Any bumps along the way were handled quickly and without "drama"". The work they did was extraordinary. They kept me in the loop throughout the entire project. Every little detail was attended to. No short cuts or quick fixes. They truly live up to their motto "beautifully installed. Built to last". I am more than pleased with the work they did. My new bathroom is absolutely stunning. Thank you, Andrew & crew. It was a pleasure working with you.

CAtlantic Tile & Granite
They are nice enough people, but the price to redo the bathroom was 2x what they "package" deal was on this site. I said it was expensive and maybe we could look at removing some parts of it, but they said that was the price and live with it. So I walked. Some of the labor charges, like the plumbing, were simply outrageous. This is typical of Seattle in boom times for contractors, it's a the $5k surcharge on a big job. My son, his friend, and I are going to do it as a summer project on our own. At this point, I'm so sick of the contractors in this area that it's called DIY and HomeDepot or Lowes.

ASeattle Paint & Design
Great marriage (literally) of both MaryAnn's skills in design and Jeremy's execution. MaryAnn was very attentive in the planning portion, visiting several times to give me ideas on how to renovate both bathrooms, and to guide me in options for my design choices for vanities, tubs, showers, etc. pointing out where I needed to spend more on quality and where I could save in other areas. MaryAnn was very respectful of my decision to spend some of my own time to do research and purchasing my own items. SPD was very flexible, since I delayed my project several times, they began work on June 2018 on the master bath and finished within reasonable time given the setbacks and additional scope I added along the way (requesting to close off an exterior window to extend the footprint of my bathroom to use a "hallway" area - hard to explain). After that was completed, they began working on my lower bathroom which is, at the time I'm writing this, at the midpoint of completion. All is looking good besides a few hiccups that were not not related to SPD. Additional points: RESPONSIVENESS: very good COST: Estimate was a fair range. Ended up going overbudget due to materials and additions to the original plan and "surprise" odd plumbing behind my walls that needed attention. INVOICING: I appreciate the weekly invoicing that is very transparent. QUALITY: I would score 97% perfect. If I'm being nitpicky, there were alignment issues with the shower fixtures but nothing that couldn't be adjusted later.

exactly how we planned. Team is super professional. Was able to complete the job well within the window allotted. Very hard works who take pride in their craft.

It went fine. I hired a contractor to remodel bathroom, but ended up getting granite at Precision so they coordinated with contractor to come out and install. It looks great, and I had no problems.

AJim Stanaway Construction
Jim and his team came in to renovate my master bathroom, mainly the shower and the floor. From the very beginning Jim was responsive, friendly and professional. He was very easy to work with and did an outstanding job. The final product is exactly what I wanted. I cannot say enough good things about Jim. - Responsive: I always had a response within an hour (but usually within 5 minutes) - Professional: I was given a quote and a time frame. Jim kept to it, no surprises. - Quality: my bathroom is beautiful!!! The tile looks amazing and perfectly laid out. No corners were cut. Jim and his team did an amazing job! - Personable: Jim was easy to talk to and very friendly. I always felt like he listened to my concerns and addressed every single one. No problem was too big or too small for Jim to handle. He never made me feel like I was anything less than his top priority. I will be recommending him to everyone I know and I will be calling him back for whatever project I come up with next.

AJohnson and Sons Construction
Our overall experience with Vic, John and their team was excellent. They pretty much stripped both bathrooms down to the bare-bones, including removing the tub in our master bathroom. In the master, they replaced the tub with a walk-in shower with tile surround and frame-less glass doors. They installed a new vanity with granite countertop, replaced the floor with a tile floor and added all new fixtures. Same for the powder bath with the exception of the tub and quartz counter-top. In the kitchen, they removed the old flooring and countertops and installed a tile floor and quartz countertops. The end results were outstanding. Vic was great to work with from the bid process to end of the job. He always keeps costs in mind and assist you making smart cost/benefit decisions as you pull your overall budget together. There were no dollar surprises. As with any major job, there are always small hiccups from time to time. Vic lets you know as soon as he know of an issue and provides you with solutions to how the issue will be resolved. Any follow-up items have been handled quickly. I will recommend Johnson and Sons Construction to my family, friends and neighbors if they are considering a remodel. I know we will contact them if we have any additional remodeling needs in the future. We initially contacted Johnson and Sons from a referral and through our review of Angie's List.
Recent Review: Kitchen Plus was great to work with. From the beginning sales to the final inspection, the process worked exactly as they told us from day one. Our project manager, Doug Froland, was the perfect manager. He was always pleasant, responsive to our requests, and always on time. He communicated extremely well and we appreciated his pleasant humor. The plumber, Michael Maccormac was wonderful. He explained everything as he progressed so there were not surprises. He took extra care in installing our tub. Sales associate, Robin Briggs, helped immensely with color coordination and initial selections. We love our new bathroom.

Recent Review: Our prior shower tiles were popping off, presumably due to the shower water leaking behind the wall. Think perfect opportunity to renovate our antiquated bathroom! Then right after demolition, multiple leaks were detected---from the roof! Yes, we ended up having to replace the entire roof & gutters as well! What easily could have been a nightmare was made easier with the guidance of Eastside Kitchen and Bath. Zach proactively helped find professionals to help with our roof and orchestrated the daily schedule. Kerry was the team manager, who has a keen eye and skilled workmanship from flooring to crafting scribes (strips of matching teak to fill the gap between our vanity and wall). We also thank the team of Alex, Kody, and Tyler. Even during the snowstorm, they braved our unplowed hilly streets and were on time. We appreciate the prompt and open communication and transparency of costs. We love our master bathroom—an oasis especially during a pandemic.
