Reviews in Federal Way to Install Chair Lift

AChermak Construction Inc
Dana Chermak spent a couple of hours with us in our home and provided a lot of useful information.  She pointed out that the location we considered for an elevator was inconvenient to our living spaces and recommended a stair lift for our situation.  She walked us through options and discussed design ideas to incorporate a stair lift into our home in the most unobtrusive way possible.  She made recommendations about sequencing of projects when I mentioned other projects we're considering and she provided additional information about stair lift options. Dana was knowledgeable, professional and very patient in answering all my questions and concerns.

ABEST BUILT ELECTRIC INC
The electrician disclosed his rates over the phone when setting up the appointment.  He was punctual and professional.   After testing, he determined that the well pump breaker at the fuse box was good, but that the issue was a bad well pump.   When he was finished, he took the extra step to list out the various 30 year old breakers in the fuse box that should be updated.

Owner came to the house. We told him what we wanted. A worksheet was done to determine the size of generator that was needed and cost of work. Two days later a detailed letter listing the work to be done and the cost was delivered by owner.

AFamily Man Handyman
This was one of the easiest hirings I have ever done. Communication with Zach was excellent. The company texts status of their workers when they are on the way to the job, they phone when it is needed (for decisions, estimates, updates), and email quotes for approval/disapproval, and invoices. SO perfect and easy! If you don't want all the electronic communication, they do landlines and paper estimates and invoices as well. Patrick was the lead man for my job. He came over to assess all the different jobs I had. He gave me ideas and helped me prioritize the jobs based on the season and my budget. Patrick is very knowledgeable, creative, and talented. His ideas made my porch concept even better than I had dreamed up. The job took as long as they estimated. (2 days). Patrick and his crew cleaned up after each day of work and were hard working the entire time they were at my house. I came out a lot to check progress, and they were patient with me and answered all my questions each time. I am absolutely thrilled with the results and can't get over how beautiful the finished project is. See for yourself in the photos. I have already scheduled another project with Family Man Handyman and they are now my "go to" company for all of the projects that I have on my plate. Highly recommend. Open, honest, professional. Company Communication: A+++++++! Administrative minutiae: A+++++ Patrick: A++++++!, as was his crew. Polite, professional, hard working.

Lakeville Homes was very accomodating, helpful, and professional. I particularly appreciated the effort they made to work with the condo requirements (elevator reservations, garage parking, etc). Our condo is beautiful. I recommend Lakeville Homes to everyone who asks me!

FHome Repair Handyman
Were to begin. He did give me a free estimate that started at over $1000 but as I questioned his length of time needed for the job he dropped it to $400. All the home needed was a few studs replaced in the wall and also the floorboard under them and the flooring adjacent to it. Like an idiot I left him alone to fix my mobile home because I needed to take my father to the va hospital. When I returned about 3 hours later he had completed the job and was gone. He had stapled up the paneling I had bought over the hole in the wall and used some cheap molding around it. I put my hand under the paneling and felt around underneath it and discovered he had left the old rotted wood up and just put the panel in front of it so I wouldn't know. I tore out the panel and found he hadn't done any repair work except for nailing in two pieces of crappy plywood for the floor which now has big gaps in it. Well I called him up right away and asked him to return and do the repair work correctly. Well he came back and told me that the wood that had a big hole in it and that I could peel away with my fingernails was not rotted. I kept after him until he fixed it correctly. As he left I noticed that he had cut the wood to fix the wall on my front porch and it was not covered in sawdust. I had to vacuum and sweep it several times to get it clean. Never will hire this man again.
