Michael came over to our house right away when I needed him to take a look at the leaky faucet on the roman bathtub. He checked every possible location that could cause the leak. He was knowledgeable and determined what was wrong in a short of time. On the day of actual repair, he knew what he was doing and even made a run to the store to get missing parts. There was no access to the old valves, so he ended up cutting up the wall behind the bathtub. After the cut and replacing the valves, he installed an access panel so that it would be accessible in the future. I have tried to fix myself and could not figured out what was wrong ... I would have no idea still if Michael didn’t take a look. I would recommend anyone who has plumbing issues to hire him.

Poorly. They mis-measured and ruined one tub surround. They deducted the cost of the surround from my bill, but then took another four hours to install the new one I had to rush out and buy while they waited--on the clock.

I contacted 4 contractors in April to get bids on this job. Only 2 returned my phone calls. Pete called back within a few hours to schedule a look. After we accepted his bid we were put into his queue. We chose Pete based on Angie's List reviews that were overwhelmingly positive, even though he did not have the lowest bid. We decided that he was the contractor we wanted to work with, and he took our job, even though he said it was smaller than the jobs that he normally did. The work was done in early August. Pete was very responsive to my questions and calls. Pete's crew did a professional job removing the old tub and surround, and installing the new one, and always cleaned up after each day's work. I was told years ago by a contractor friend that remodeling always costs 1/3rd more than originally expected and takes about 1/3rd longer than expected. I think that Pete's bids are higher because he sticks with them and has figured out what a job will actually cost (barring unforeseen problems). When there were any questions about something I was consulted. Pete was very aware that this was our only shower, and worked to get the job done quickly. The only caveat I would give about Pete's Construction, is that the bids do not include materials (which he is very up-front about). He expects customers to buy and supply the major items for a job. This works well for many people, but was a little hard for me. We are happy with the job done, and would hire Pete's Construction again.

The showroom does not look impressive, although the parking is convenient. But do not let the lack of fancy and stylish presentation be a deterrent. Everything needed to make decisions about decor and style is available and you will not fee intimidated by an overbearing sales person. The actual project took three-and-a-half days, one for demolition, a second for preparation, a third for putting the marble in place, and a half-day for installing hardware. In all of this the workers were timely, careful, neat, courteous. They also worked around the uncontrollables, e.g. the tardiness of the health department inspection. At the end I realized this was a bigger project than I had imagined, but it was very easy to undergo, and I am very pleased with the result.

FPACIFIC PLUMBING AND HEATING
Badly. The copper re-piping has been fine but that's where the good news ends. They were never on time and it took four trips (i.e. four days off work) to finish the job - but the job was left incomplete and I had to hire another plumber to finish the work. The tub installation is adequate, the toilet was not bolted down properly (it still moves) and they could not figure out how to install a new faucet. Very basic work was done poorly or not at all.

Repaired an incorrectly installed bathtub faucet. Ryan quickly resolve the issue which was a plug that was not taken out of the bathtub plumbing when it was installed by the previous owner. The area where he was working was cleaned up and estimates were provided for additional work. Installing a water line for my refrigerator and repairing a toilet. I wanted to get a few more estimates as that work was a little more involved.

I went to the showroom to see the product in person. Nichole answered all of my initial questions and knowledgeably described the materials. She also gave me a coupon for a free accessory for visiting. I then made an appointment for the saleswoman to come to my house the next day. Cindy arrived on time with plenty of samples. She answered some other questions and concerns I had and made some suggestions about which options to choose. After making my decisions, she measured everything in the bathroom she needed and told me it would be ready in 3-4 weeks. After only two weeks, I received a call that my order was in. The day of installation, David arrived at 8:30 after calling to let me know when he would be there. He immediately put drop cloths on the floor from the door upstairs to the bathroom. He confirmed what was to be done and where I wanted the corner shelf and towel rack placed. He worked quickly and efficiently. I interrupted him a few times to see how things were going, and he patiently explained what he was doing and where he was in the process. By 2:30 he was finished and the end product looked great.

We discovered a leak coming from behind the wall in our tub/shower, in our main bathroom. We have had previous, very good experience with Lakewood Plumbing, so we had them come out to evaluate the situation. Marty checked things out, and determined repair would require the 1970s era puke-yellow tile to be removed in order to get to the pipes involved. My wife and I decided to have the entire bathroom remodeled at this point. Lakewood Plumbing coordinated with Lakewood Restoration, who they partner with on these types of projects, and both companies provided us an estimate. (Our next door neighbor had recently engaged this team to do plumbing/remodeling, and was very pleased with the quality of work and the cost.) We ended up replacing the dilapidated tub, having the aforementioned butt-ugly tile replaced with a subtle patterned Corian surround, and swapped out the faux-marble formica vanity countertop and similarly-dinged and stained sink with the same pattern Corian, and an integrated Corian sink. Both contractors performed as expected, coordinating the project in a collegial and professional manner. We are very happy with the completed bathroom! It looks great, the quality and finish is impeccable, and there are no more leaks! The final bill was within a few dollars of the estimate. As an added bonus, after Lakewood Plumbing removed the toilet in order to replace bathtubs, Marty discovered that Beacon Plumbing's recent and quot;repairand quot; of the toilet gasket and flange mount was done incorrectly. (Wrong flange was used.) Marty repaired Beacon's inept work at no additional charge...our only cost was the minimal price of the correct flange. We highly recommend Lakewood Plumbing for their competence, integrity, and value.

They arrived on time, worked continuously until finished, were very professional, answered all my questions, cleaned up and hauled everything away. They worked continuously until the job was finished. I was very impressed and will definitely call on them for any future work needed. Jessie and the crew answered all my questions, worked tirelessly and didn't slow down until all was done. Everything works great.
Recent Review: We had a bathtub with a nasty rust spot. We put up with it for 8 years, but as we were getting ready to sell the house, we wanted to fix it! Every option we saw was thousands of dollars. Bathtub Refinishers gave us a beautiful tub for an incredible price! I would use them again in a heartbeat!! Provider was very professional and timely - finished the job early!
Recent Review: I am a Household Manager for a family in Seattle and we recently refinished two of the bathtubs . The bathtubs are from the 1920's and need badly to be refinished. We didn't want to replace them with new tubs, so the only option we had was to have them refinished. I spoke with Jon Shelton, the owner of Seattle Bathtub Guy over the phone. Jon's communication was flawless. He was able to give me a quote over the phone and schedule an appointment that week. He arrived exactly on time. He was courteous and professional. Within 8hours we had two bathtubs that looked like new. Over all, his work is stellar, and even better, he was trustworthy, honest, the price was right, and he was incredibly personable. Jon did guarantee his work and told me I could call him anytime if anything was wrong. I was highly impressed with their business, the pride they take in their work, and the end result of the job exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend to hire Seattle Bathtub Guy for any kind of bathtub or Shower work.

Recent Review: Our bathroom tub was starting to peel and corrode. After hearing they were offering a $400 special on refinishing tubs, we took the offer. They came out when they said they would, and sealed off the bathroom, and left a great finish on the tub. It is very shiny and white.
Recent Review: This went great. I contacted Sergio via email through Angie’s List and he requested that I send him photos of the tub, then he emailed me a quote. His was the lower price of the two quotes I solicited. We agreed on a date for the job, he showed up and completed it, taking care to block the fumes caused by his work from drifting through the house by covering the bathroom access with plastic and using a fan out the bathroom window. He protected not only the area around the tub but the access in and out of my house. He billed me exactly what he quoted and my tub looks brand new again. My only quibble is that I had a little difficulty confirming the time, not the day, he was coming to do the job, but that was a stay home day for me anyway, so I didn’t worry about it. If that is important, I suggest you call him rather than just use email.
Recent Review: Kudos to Red Cedar for picking up the phone on Sunday. Tried to get 4 or five other emergency plumbers to answer without luck. The bathroom faucet wouldn't stop running, I had to turn off the water. They came first thing Monday morning, assessed and immediately fixed the bathtub faucet.
