Recent Review: A Better Crawl encapsulated the crawl space in my home that had been excavated but left open. They were very good and found a leak in my plumbing. I liked that they listened to me and hauled away all the trash with no cost. They had a good attitude. They were careful to keep everything clean.

Recent Review: After getting and reviewing three estimates, from three contractors for remodeling our bathroom, we selected Joseph Kelly, owner of Goods Works Construction. His estimate was the most complete and clearly written estimate of the three. His estimate left no part of the project in question. From the demolition, disposal of debris, purchasing of materials to completed remodel including labor costs were all covered in the estimate. We sat down and discussed the entire remodeling details that included estimate for how many actual calendar days to complete the work. Joseph also explained potential items that might cause changes to the estimate due to hidden problems that may alter the estimate. We set the start date and the complete remodel was completed as agreed—time, cost, and quality. The subfloor in the walk-in closet required additional materials and labor over and above the estimate. Because Joseph had explained that potential problems may not be evident until demolition was complete, I was aware that potential hidden issues may arise. As soon as he identified the issue with the sub-floor, he consulted with us, showing us the problem along with options and estimated additional cost for correcting the problem. Throughout the entire remodel, Joseph offered options for the placement items such as the shower handle, shower head, shelf placement, tile layout, etc. Because of his effort at guiding us through the entire remodel, we were extremely pleased with every aspect of the remodel. Based on our experience, Good Works Construction is a top notch contractor that I feel confident in recommending to others for construction needs.

Recent Review: not good. It took two of them two days to put in two stringers. frame in two walls, the closet and the sub floor. they had to turn the water off to remove some old plumbing. they closed the floor up. turned the water back on and left. leaving the crawl space open for wild life access and they didn't check for leaks before they left. two days later the plumbers showed up. one of them in the bathroom and one under the house. the one under the house was complaning about a pipe being broke off and couldnt find it for the lake he was laying in. the plumbers didnt say but im sure charged me more because of the mess they had to work in. plus the cost of water running for two days. It was a hose bib broken off by the guy under the house. not the plumber mr guernsey's helper. when they finished. I called mr guernsey to come back and finish his work. he said he would be there the next morning. he came and installed the pocket door. thanked me and left. i was amazed to find the hardware for the lock/latch which is a mortice installation and the striker plate in the door frame was not installed. the door when shut has a two inch gap to the floor and the door jam. the random studs were not installed the closet was such a mess. I had to tear it out and redo it. this all for a good sum of money. this company's work is terrible. I had additional work planned for him. such as a upstairs dormer and some custom cabnetry but I will not be using mr. guernsey for anyt kind of work in the future.

Reviews in Centralia to Encapsulate Crawl Spaces

AA Better Crawl Inc
We were very happy with the entire process. Nick sealed the deal even before he forwarded us the written estimate. He was informative, extremely thorough with his inspection and gave us options to tailor the job to our needs. The installation crew (April, Jason, and Scott) did an outstanding job. It was evident that there is great communication within the company as April and the rest of the team knew what needed to be done from the start. April was excellent at informing us what each day's goals were and provided us with an update at the end of each day. Despite completing the job ahead of schedule the quality and thoroughness of the job was still too notch. Clean-up was fantastic.
