Recent Review: Where to start...I bought my house because it was a great value, in a great location with everything I wanted and needed. Everything except the main bathroom. I won't call it a master bathroom because that would imply space, and some masterful about it. None of that held true. The move was from the East Coast, by car hauling a small utility trailer and 3 dogs. Part of the MUST haves upon arrival was caulk. Yes. Long story short, that mini bathroom has 2 entrances right across from each other with access from hallways. I looked for months for inspiration on how I could possible strip it down and make it a kick *** remodel. In May I sent a few feelers out for local remodel bathroom contractors. Sent pictures of my disaster. Rachel, called me back stat and we talked on the phone about the project. That convo was definitely intriguing enough to follow up with a visit to the showroom. I spent 2 hours there and we had a design. And boy/girl was that a kick *** looking concept. I wanted minimalist, flow, modern with a touch of woodsy. I got just that. Getting through the estimate process was fairly painless since I got a lot of wiggle room to hire my own electrician and door artisan (using reclaimed wood from NW Reclaim), shower rod system and faucets. The work started on time within the time frame I needed. Overall the bathroom was done in 4 weeks. The entire team is great but I want to give a special shout out to Igor, the demo, framing, tile, drywall, man who does 90% of the labor, because he was precise, patient, kind and all around professional. I say kind because I experienced a life ending emergency with my senior dog and he was there, helped, and went right back to his job. Very humble, efficient and hard working. Never left a mess. I love my bathroom and can't wait to match my kitchen next year. Definitely recommending Let's remodel! Couple of comments about the pictures here below. #1: Also part of the initial moving convoy was my dog's shower curtain. Pavel recommended I get glass panels on the side of the shower but I wanted my dog's shower curtain over any design consideration. As part of the shower curtain install, I wanted the rounded double rod so I can attach my towel to the outer row. No point in crowding the already small space with more hardware, am I right? Works great by the way (not shown on pic). So say hello to Gypsy on the curtain (she is the one that passed away - see ref here above). #2: The door frame still needs to be finished (NOT Let's Remodel's responsibility. Pavel installed the door casing, frame and trim from wood I chose and provided. The door frame was all crooked to begin with so Pavel fixed it all. That part of the project should be finished this weekend by Dale from Tonsilvania Designs in Portland, who made the 2 barn doors) #3: I refuse to post the before pictures as my sanity for buying this house might be challenged. That and who wants to remember the creepy ugly version? No one. You are welcome ;-)

Recent Review: Of the three estimates we received, Artistic Stone Design was the clear choice for us from the beginning. Alex and Marina are prompt, professional, very knowledgeable/creative and in general, wonderful to work with. Always prompt with responses, calm and in control of the details which was very important to me. I emailed or texted several times late in the evening not expecting a response until the next day but would get a reply within minutes. All those characteristics were evident and the job hadn't even started yet! The demo of the entire bathroom was completed in two days and everything was swept up, stacked neatly and put away at the end of the day - almost like he hadn't even been there! The tile installer (who also handled the demo) is truly a craftsman who takes great pride in his work and that shows! It looks fantastic! Literally cannot find a tile that was not placed perfectly. Grout lines match up around corners so the overall look is clean and smooth. The final piece was the quartz counter tops - beautifully fabricated and also installed cleanly and efficiently. Every employee of Artistic Stone Design that we dealt with was polite and professional, prompt and efficient. In closing, I recommend Artistic Stone Design/Alex and Marina 110% - don't hesitate to go with them for your project! I would hire them again with no hesitation and hope to in the near future.

Recent Review: The overall experience was amazing! Grant, the owner, gave me about three different measuring to choose from and we could mix and match to get it exactly the way I wanted it which was very helpful. It was also very important for him to ask me a lengthy questions on the style of cook that I was and how I maneuver around the kitchen (as well as how many people typically use the kitchen) to help him construct the layout. When production started, it was exceptionally clean for my family as we still had to function in the house. They set us up to have a pseudo-kitchen in our foyer while the major area was being constructed so our life could carry on. The people that were in our home were incredibly respectful and clean as well.  The best part was, once they had my cabinets built, they set up a 'mock kitchen' for me in their place of business that I could actually walk through and feel what the space would be like to scale before they executed it. Every detail, every nook and cranny, became a useful space for something. Everything was truly customized - "creative" is absolutely what they are! I'd give them an A+++ if I could!

Craig was the best contractor we have worked with, and we have worked with many. He is always on time, he returns calls immediately. His prices are very fair and he pays attention to detail. I would recommend him highly.

ANEW VISION INTERIORS, LLC
What started with a small drywall project turned into an amazing relationship with a contractor we've turned to for project after project, year after year. Steve does the majority of the work himself, which leads to consistent top-notch work product and unsurpassed customer service. Unlike many other contractors, you will never have to chase him down and beg him to come back and work on your half-finished project. When Steve takes a job, he works that job until it's done. Additionally, Steve is a family man and it shows. Never before have I had a contractor offer to stop cutting tile to help my wife bring in groceries from the car. He cares about people and their projects. We cannot imagine hiring another contractor for any work on our house. May 2014 - We just bought our new ranch home and it needed a lot of work. After our recommended drywall contractor was too busy, we received a referral to Steve of New Vision Interiors. Steve was also busy, but he was willing to come work on our house after 5 pm for several nights to squeeze in drywall work that we needed in order for us to be able to move into our new home. The painters we had hired decided to start using Steve instead of the prior "recommended" drywaller because they were so impressed with the quality of his work. Steve's work was fantastic, as he was able to seamlessly match texture to existing drywall, which is challenging to do. Ask Steve about "quiet rock" drywall and "rock wool" insulation for sound deadening - it was a great improvement to our house. As we were getting to know Steve through this project, he mentioned he did kitchen and bath remodels. Boy did our house need it! October 2014 - We fired our smooth-talking kitchen remodeler/designer and hired Steve for a major kitchen remodel. We removed a drop ceiling (1980s, you were so cruel!) and changed the kitchen layout. The kitchen is literally in the middle of the house and the ultimate gathering place so it was important to us to get everything exactly right. Steve worked with us on design options and was extremely easy to collaborate with. We knew exactly what we wanted in some areas, and we had no clue what we wanted in other areas of the kitchen remodel. Everything was custom and Steve patiently walked us through the entire process. He is excellent about always being in communication with us. On the kitchen remodel, Steve built a walk-in pantry where none existed, put in cherry cabinets (he uses a great subcontractor for this work), granite, wood flooring, new lighting, Jenn-Aire appliances (the induction cooktop is awesome), downdraft, a new island with prep sink, and painstakingly cut glass tile backsplash. We receive compliments from literally everyone who sees our kitchen, which you can't help but see the moment you walk in our house. We couldn’t have been more pleased and we knew that the next time we needed a contractor, we would be calling on Steve. July 2015 - I decided to replace the ancient vinyl flooring in a bathroom and discovered the toilet had been leaking slowly for quite some time. The damage ran across the bathroom from under the vanity to the tub. This was not a planned remodel, all I wanted to do was replace the floor! However, we decided that since we had to pull so much out of the bathroom to repair the damage, we would just go ahead and do a full remodel - the bathroom needed it anyway. So we called Steve. He came over to the house within days to review the project. He fit us into his schedule and got to work, starting with repairing the damaged subfloor. Once that was done, he again helped with design. For example, we had the option of putting in a standard length tub or a larger tub to fill the bigger space we had. We spent the relatively few extra dollars and ended up with a much more pleasing look, with the tub fully centered in the room and tile on all three walls that looks "right." Steve isn’t pushy and doesn’t try to upsell products just to make more money or prolong a project; instead, he makes design suggestions and will recommend design tweaks where it makes sense. We put in custom cabinets (that my wife actually designed), new lighting, replaced that darn leaky toilet, and added crown moulding. Once again, we are very impressed with the quality of Steve’s work. February 2016 - We are currently in the middle of a laundry/mudroom and bathroom remodel with Steve. We decided what we wanted to do, then called Steve to simply quote the work and tell us when he could start. We no longer bother with getting additional bids from other contractors, because we don't want anyone else doing the work AND we know Steve does his work at very reasonable prices. For this project, Steve relocated a wall for us - doubling the size of our laundry/mudroom and decreasing the size of a guest bathroom. Steve did the demo, more subfloor work, rough carpentry, and worked very hard to create a layout of a custom size/dimension neo-angle corner shower. We will have the same cabinet maker put in the cabinets, including bench seating and beadboard in the mudroom. Like the previous work, this project is coming together beautifully and we are so excited to have a beautiful and highly functional new laundry/mudroom and guest bathroom. Upcoming projects - Steve will be the first and only person we call for upcoming projects. We plan to explore his creativity with a massive master bedroom addition. You will be extremely happy if you have Steve work on your project, so I highly recommend you give him a call.

AIDS Remodeling Inc
I don’t know what we would have done without Darcy and IDS Remodeling. In early 2013 we hired a contractor who had previously done the external renovation of our home to do a complete interior renovation. Within about four months it became apparent that this contractor did not have the skills needed to complete this renovation. Not only was he two months behind on a project he estimated would take four months, but phases of the project were being continually revised, the contractor made significant design decisions without consulting us, and the quality of the workmanship was extremely poor. A new custom kitchen was installed with such major errors that it had to be completely demolished. A completely new trim package and a new set of oak stairs had to be pulled and replaced. Our remodel was a complete disaster. We fired this contractor and, after interviewing five contractors experienced in interior renovation work, we selected IDS Remodeling as the replacement contractor on the job. Darcy and his son, Aaron, came in with a very comprehensive plan to complete the renovation of our home in an acceptable time frame and at a reasonable cost. Their plan not only encompassed the remediation of the shoddy work performed by the initial contractor, but included many design suggestions that improved the quality of the renovation. Above all, the one thing that impressed us the most was the fact that Darcy and Aaron treated this project as if it were the renovation of their own homes. Without a doubt we would strongly recommend IDS Renovation if you are considering the renovation of your home. We would not hesitate to call them again for any future renovation work we had in mind.

ABSC General Contractors Inc
Absolutely flawless. BSC and team are amazing. The workmanship is top notch. They stay on their schedule. If there's a need to make schedule changes they let you know upfront. They pay attention to detail all the way down to making sure door knobs match the rest of the knobs throughout the office. They make recommendations throughout the project that will always improve the final outcome, but as the customer you're not obligated to accept their recommendations. They are a hassle free contractor. This project was remodeling the main bathroom. I wanted to keep it simple to retain the original house design. Love the bathroom and my husband who's hard to please is very satisfied. This is my second time contracting with BSC so I had no doubt I would be a happy customer. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

ALeitner Construction
I couldn't be more pleased with the work Leitner Construction did for me. I had a bathroom totally remodeled and was so pleased with the results that a year later I decided to have a second bathroom done. Because my home was built in 1964, both bathrooms needed total makeovers. I was able to select a price range that fit my budget and was given help in making my selection of tile and hardware. I absolutely love my custom-made cabinets. The project managers checked in with me everyday to answer my questions and monitor the work being done. When I need any future remodeling done, my call will go to Leitner Construction!

ABen McClurg Enterprises, Inc
After having a few quotes done to remodel our bathroom we decided to go with Ben McClurg’s team. Ben was prompt to the scene and clearly laid out all the tasks that needed to be completed before the work started. The quote was accurate and adhered to throughout the duration of the project. We only had two leftover tiles at the completion of the project! Ben knew the exact amount of supplies we needed to make the job as cost-efficient as possible, and that’s hard to come by these days. For the craftsmanship side, Rick was the crew lead and did a fantastic job with the project. Throughout the process there were small decisions to be made on tile and tub positioning and Rick did an excellent job of working with us to explain the pros and cons of each choice so we could make an informed decision. We really appreciate the extra time he took with us on that. Also, Rick and his team member Ben did an excellent job working together. There was no arguing or ordering anyone around.. these two guys worked like machines together and treat each other with respect and even laughed and joked around throughout the job. Overall A+ work done on this project and we’re 100% satisfied with the work. Cant wait to have the guys out again to tackle another job!!

Collin gave us the estimate and any changes with add on we requested was highlighted and he made sure we didn't exceed too much from our budget. AThe Tile Guys Oregon LLC
My husband and I are picky so for us to write a glowing review about Rick and Mike is a testament to their great work. We had our master bathroom remodeled in April and it was a BIG job. They demoed the entire bathroom and installed new tile flooring (heated) and totally rebuilt the shower (neo angle style) that required extreme attention to detail for the glass shower walls and doors to fit correctly. They were great to work with and we always felt comfortable leaving them alone in our house while we were away. The completed project is beautiful and we’ve had many positive compliments about it. If they’re not tired of us, we will gladly have them back for two more projects that we intend to have done.

Great! Love my new shower. My installer, Allen did an amazing job. It's a small bathroom to begin with, (100 yr old home). We took advantage of every square inch. Thanks Duane, (Owner) and thanks Allen, (best installer I've met). Have a great year folks. I'll spread the word. Chris
