Recent Review: Juan Garcia was the project manager for the project and did a great job. Very personable, and professional. The pavers at our pond were breaking away and falling toward the pond. It appeared to be only time before the gap would get bigger & bigger. Juan's team demoed out the old pavers, put in a deeper foundation and replaced the new pavers tight to the rest on the patio. Very please with there work. Recommend them highly.

Recent Review: This is the second time that I have used NW Pond Services LLC. The first time was for an annual cleaning and this time was for a repair. The owner, Filiberto is a very honest person to deal with. He pointed out to me that the secondary filter on my pond was unnecessary and that the pump I had could support a wider diameter hose and I could get more velocity on my waterfall. I would not hesitate to recommend him and I will definitely be calling him next spring when it is time for an annual cleaning.

Recent Review: I interviewed two companies that specialize in water fall construction in Clark Co. The patio was second consideration to the water feature but both companies were eager to do both projects. I relied on how the two companies looked at my situation and gave me their recommendations and that is one major reason why I liked this firm--Rick Hooks, the owner gave considerable thought to the design and had two recommendations on the location of the water feature and the patio. Work was on time and things went well. Unfortunately the liner leaked after the install but the foreman came out and worked to discover the leak and fixed same. I also had some pick up work after the job was completed that I thought needed correction and the foreman did so promptly. The patio looks great and everything looks really fine and is very enjoyable to view and relax. I would only suggest if you have any changes from the quote to confirm pricing before proceeding but that is true of any construction  so that is not a criticism.

Recent Review: Very well. I was impressed at Ted's promptness in coming to the house to determine what the problems were, starting immediately. He told me what was going on and what he would do. He kept me updated on how it was going. They ran into electrical problems that required an electrician who was able to come promptly. He and his workers took care not to destroy the lawn. The electrical problems affected the pond pump as well and they redid this circuitry so that water would not cause the pond pump to short out. In the course of this, he cleaned the pump filter and the pond and redid the small waterfall. He also put decorative rocks in other places where water had been pooling, and evened up and leveled 4 paving stones. The project seemed very complex and Ted knew what he was doing. It is clear he takes pride in doing a good job and being responsive to his clients. Because of this we are asking Ted to do another project for us in our new house.

Recent Review: Cretec Concrete did a fantastic job replacing our pool deck. The existing concrete deck was built in 1960, and it had cracked and failed, was topped with indoor tile...in seriously bad shape. Spencer and his crew removed the demo'd materials quickly. There was some damage done to the underlying pool mechanical piping in the process (which should honestly be expected), but the crew replaced all the piping and stood by while we completed pressure testing. Whenever a new challenge came up, Cretec let me know right away, and we were able to calmly and professionally find a solution. They also formed and new steps for all our outside doors. Bottom line...These guys are professional, punctual, problem-solving, nice guys. I would hire them again and recommend them without hesitation.

Recent Review: They pumped it out and put the fish in a container while working.  They dug it deeper, and made the waterfall higher and installed a sand filter and bigger pump.  The new liner is made from a different material so should last a lot longer. They also brought in a lot more and larger rocks to finish both the inside and the outside of the pond and waterfall.  Moss and plants were put in around the waterfall and pond.  Looks good and the fish seem to like it better too!

ABig Boy Waterfalls & Koi Ponds
Big Boy Waterfalls and Koi Ponds did a great job and helped me out when I needed it quickly. They were able to get out to me the next day and make those emergency repairs.  I was really pleased with their responsiveness and fair price.  I also liked the fact that he laid it on the line.  I have an older pond and they told me flat out that they could try and patch it, but with the age of the pond and the way it was constructed, he couldn't make a guarantee, but he would try his best.  The repair held.  When it is time to replace my pond liner, I will be giving them a call.

The crew of three showed up at 7 am and finished excavating the pond and building the waterfall mound including retaining wall the first day.  The second day a larger crew laid the pond liner, built the waterfall, set the pump and filter, filled the pond, planted the waterfall area and spread mulch.  Finally they planted the pond plants and put the fish back into the pond.  A complete pond and waterfall in 2 days!  All the time the group was hardworking, fun and courteous.  The results were fantastic!

We have been having Jeff clean our pond for several years now.  We used other companies before finding Jeff and we will always stick w/ Jeff now.  He is better, faster, and cheaper than the competition.  Jeff and his crew followed all of my unique instructions like counting my fish as they removed them (needed to know how many are in there since they've been breeding) and helping me select 5 fish to remove and transport to my neighbor's pond (since we are overpopulated).  Did a wonderful job, as always, but wanted to leave a nice review b/c I was really impressed at how they did the fish transport so well and at no extra cost.  Also, the pond looks better this year than ever and wanted to post an "after" pic.  Unfortunately, I don't have a "before" pic, but know that the water was very unclear and you could only see about 6 inches down or so.  Now you can see all the way to the bottom.  Hire these guys!

Very well. I have trees all around so the pond gets to be a mess. NW Pond makes it look like new again every spring. Always very happy to see him as I can see my fish again and the pond looks great! He is prompt and does very good work. I highly recommend NW Pond!

On time and well beyond our expectations. The original pond was expanded and deepened and a waterfall was placed. It is beautiful! Added a filtration system to help with keeping the pond clean and our fish have a place to hide so they don't become a sushi meal for the raccoons. Completed in one day which included emptying the existing pond of water, using existing rocks and bubbler, deepening the pond to about 3 or 4 feet, new pond liner, adding boulders and the three tiered waterfall along. Moss and plants and bark dust were brought in, too.

Jeff's team of two came in and totally drained and cleaned out our koi pond.  They were very gentle with the fish and we never lost any.  The pond looked amazing when they left and they even went the extra mile and helped us troubleshoot our leaking waterfall issues.  They found and patched a couple of holes in the liner.  WE are VERY impressed!  They will be back!!

.I can't believe we lived here for 30 years staring at the neighbors house and fence every meal. Bret had amazing insight and quick answers to our privacy problem. Now it is like living in a forest and the birds and squirrels love it. Our fish pond was an eyesore. We had black pond liner tied to boards and it was ugly. Now with all the river rock it is beautiful. I couldn't be happier with this company!!!

They do an outstanding job.  Jeff (owner) put up w/ my many email questions prior to service.  He also gave me tip on waiting until after the leaves have fallen to get the most "bang for your buck" out of pond cleaning.  That was nice, and meant a delay in business for him, since I was ready to have him come out over the summer.  Honest person.  When his 2 guys came out to clean the pond, they were on time and worked hard.  They took good care of my 30 or so fish, being careful not to hurt them during the removal, draining, cleaning, and refilling process.  His 2 guys also put up w/ lots of questions from me during the cleaning, and me hanging around worried about my fish.  They were pros.  Price was reasonable.  4 hours of work or so, $450 for full pond cleaning.  Water went from terrible to great in 4 hours.  They also monkeyed w/ my waterfall and made it work better for no additional charge.  They also removed just the right amount of pond plants, which was included in the pond cleaning fee.  We've been using Jeff and Affordable Ponds for several years now, and have had multiple experiences with them.  Always excellent.  Highly recommend!

We have used Affordable Ponds for several years, I think 5. We have them come ech spring to clean our water fountain. It is always such a mess to clean each spring with leaves and pine needles. They have always been punctual. The work is done efficiently and professionally. They fountain is cleaned including the reservoir that is always very dirty and they always check the pump and plumbing and get everything in working order. I did this all myself the first year and it is a tough job.
