Jeramie Booker is extremely professional and ethical. Most recently he replaced hinges on our kitchen cabinet doors and extended a fence in our backyard. He has completed many projects for us over the years and we have been pleased with the quality of his work. He’s dependable and fair.

Brad did an exceptional job remodeling our master bathroom.  He was very professional including showing up when he said he would and completing work in a timely manner.  His brother Gary did the tile work and he has the same work ethics. I'm very pleased on the outcome of my remodel.

We had sales rep, Shane Hurley, come out to go over a remodel of our shower/bath. He came very prepared with this whole bag of tiles that showed the different finishes, and even a mini tub made out of the stuff they use to make their tubs to show how strong it is, and how its built for durability. He used a computer program to show us exactly what our shower/tub would look like once finished, that way we got a full 'view' of what style we wanted. We were very pleased with how prepared he was to go over all the options with us, making sure we knew exactly what we wanted.

FJuan Jimenez & Sons LLC
My dad hired Juan to complete a full Bathroom & Kitchen Remodel. Juan quoted my dad $20,000 for the entire project and required my dad pay him half down immediately to get started. He told my dad the ENTIRE project would be complete in 3-4 weeks. After my dad issued him payment, Juan had his team rip out the entire bathroom and kitchen. It took his team 1 month just to complete my dad's very small bathroom. The work was horrible. The tile was not spaced evenly and was unlevel, the faucet fell off when my dad used the shower for the first time, the shower door has dings on it, and the light fixture isn't even with where the vanity sits. Then, 2.5 months later, Juan and his team have done nothing but install new flooring ON TOP of the old flooring in the kitchen leaving my dad without the kitchen access for over 2 months. When my dad asks Juan why nothing is being done, he gives my dad multiple different excuses but never has proof to validate these excuses. At this point, my dad has fired Juan and now has to hire a new contractor to not only complete his kitchen but also repair the terrible work his team did in the bathroom. We DO NOT recommend hiring Juan Jimenez & Sons LLC to do ANY work on someone's home.

Jordan was very responsive to our requests and desires. He assisted us with design options. They were always prompt on arrival time. Jordan and his partner Pete kept within the time frame agreed on. His professionalism was always apparent. The workmanship was OUTSTANDING!! He has now done 2 projects for us and both jobs were done with excellence. I would definitely hire Jordan again for any project. I have included a before and after picture.

Was promised work would be done in 6 weeks, took over 3 months. Bathroom counter top is coming up, caulking in bath and kitchen is failing.  Paint in kitchen was incomplete.  Can still tell where item where removed from walls prior to painting. Had to replace screws holding door hinges up.  New kitchen cabinets appear to be pulling away from the wall.

AGood Works Construction
After getting and reviewing three estimates, from three contractors for remodeling our bathroom, we selected Joseph Kelly, owner of Goods Works Construction. His estimate was the most complete and clearly written estimate of the three. His estimate left no part of the project in question. From the demolition, disposal of debris, purchasing of materials to completed remodel including labor costs were all covered in the estimate. We sat down and discussed the entire remodeling details that included estimate for how many actual calendar days to complete the work. Joseph also explained potential items that might cause changes to the estimate due to hidden problems that may alter the estimate. We set the start date and the complete remodel was completed as agreed—time, cost, and quality. The subfloor in the walk-in closet required additional materials and labor over and above the estimate. Because Joseph had explained that potential problems may not be evident until demolition was complete, I was aware that potential hidden issues may arise. As soon as he identified the issue with the sub-floor, he consulted with us, showing us the problem along with options and estimated additional cost for correcting the problem. Throughout the entire remodel, Joseph offered options for the placement items such as the shower handle, shower head, shelf placement, tile layout, etc. Because of his effort at guiding us through the entire remodel, we were extremely pleased with every aspect of the remodel. Based on our experience, Good Works Construction is a top notch contractor that I feel confident in recommending to others for construction needs.

AHennigh Construction
Jack Hennigh is the best! He completed gutted and remodeled our main bath to our "old house" style specifications. No challenge too much as he worked through issues typical of remodeling 100 year old homes. Very considerate, fast, professional and efficient. Will definitely call upon him again when we tackle the kitchen.

Recent Review: The remodel went very well. It was easier than we expected even though we lived in the house throughout the project. Mr. Wiggins does high quality work. His guidance made it easy to make decisions on design, materials, fixtures, and colors. The fact that we've hired him several times since the completion of the remodel says alot about how much we appreciate his work. We have more upgrades planned for which we'll hire Mr. Wiggins. You can see photos of our project on wiggins-construction.com It's on Projects Page 2 and labeled Hays Kitchen Addition and Hays Fireplace.

Recent Review: The project was essentially a remodel of a circa 1950's beach cabin with a small addition. We chose Baker and Son on the recommendation of our neighbor who had used them to build a detached garage. Our plans were relatively simple at first: build the addition, expand the kitchen, build a new bathroom and create a new entry. As work was underway, it became clear through the advice of Baker and Son that our kitchen was too big and out of scale for the cabin. We ended up eliminating some walls and opening up the cabin in such a way that created one large room but still a separate kitchen, dining and living. It was a huge improvement to the original design. In addition to the interior work, Baker and Son completely overhauled the exterior which included new windows and siding. New structural headers were required because they didn't exist. Also, since the cabin is post and pier construction, they leveled and strengthen the existing structure. Work included new skirting as well. Their attention to detail was very impressive. They are masters at creative problem solving, patient, responsive and positive. They have a very strong sense of design. We were never pressured into quick decisions. The contract arrangement for our project was essentially time and material because formulating a bid on an old cabin remodel would involve too many unknowns. We agreed to a fair hourly rate and all material and subcontracted work we paid directly with no additional overhead or fee. This saved us money. Since we lived out of town, Baker and Son were so well connected with various vendors and subcontractors, it simplified making arrangements. Now that our project is complete, we are so excited about the end result! We would highly recommend using Baker and Son Construction for any project.

Recent Review: Crowdsourcing site for interior and architectural design. Interesting service and if you are comfortable with internet shopping and a little risk, IMHO, worth the cost.  My project:   Redesigning kitchen and family room (great room concept) and we needed interior design/style advise for the project. The site posts a "competition" for the project, you determine what amount of money to offer for the competition (site recommends an amount, but the customer is free to change if needed.) Within 20 days, we had 20 designers signed up for our competition from all over the world. In the end, 8 designers submitted designs. We picked our top 4, rated all designs and the top three were selected based on ratings -- one from France, USA and Serbia. Honorable Mention went to country of Georgia. First, second and third place received a portion of the award money.   Pros and Cons:  You, the customer, must be comfortable with the risk of paying for something and not knowing if you'll like the result. For me, this was part of the process and an acceptable risk.  You don't have a face to face consultation. The site has a "wall" where you can post ideas, photos, communication with the designers or architects. I resolved this by posting my houzz.com design book on the wall to give designers ideas of our likes, dislikes, etc. You can also post requirements and constraints for your project. Toward the end of the competition (a deadline is set when you submit a project) a lot of communication occurs with the architects and designers. Expect it, it's part of the process.  The website is fairly rudimentary. Online/chat help is available but is somewhat hit and miss.  You can send designs to friends and family to rate. This is helpful in making a decision.  Overall, we got a number of ideas between the designers and were very pleased with the process and project.

Recent Review: The entire process was fantastic! We worked closely with one of their designers to get exactly the configuration we wanted. Then the delivery and install went really well. When one of the doors was accidentally put in backward, they happily came back and fixed. Could ask for better. We are now planning another kitchen remodel and will definitely use them again.
