Short Review Dr. Roof Inc. replaced my ~3500 square feet residential roof system on the SW Washington coast. They did what they said they would do and when they said they would do it. They charged a premium for this work but they did good work for good money. Long Review Fall 2013, I invited nine coastal contractors to bid on new residential roofing and most never showed up, or showed up once promising to return, never did. Dr. Roof Inc. showed up when they said they would, listen to my concerns and requirements, and followed up with a timely roofing bid. I put the bid on hold as I reconsidered everything new I learned about the pros and cons of various roofing solutions. Fall 2014, after more roof planning and repairs, I invited Dr. Roof Inc. and another contractor company to bid on the new roof again. Other contractor showed up initially but did not follow up with a bid. Dr. Roof Inc. worked on Labor Day to give me a revised roof bid for pitched composition roofing shingles (Owens Corning TruDef duration) and some extra work I wanted on the low slope areas (ice/water shield, stainless nails, and hand tab of nail heads, extra flashing.) After several follow up emails, a reasonably small deposit, and about thirty days later, the team got the old roof off, and a new water proof underlayment done during a good eight hour weather window (sunny, no wind.) Next two days the team worked in the rain to complete the new roof. Before hiring, I researched DR Roof Inc. with; Better Businesses Bureau, Angie?s List, the Oregon and Washington state Attorney General?s consumer protection office, each state?s business registry and contractor licensing, insurance, sanction history. I also Googled and Bing searched multiple reviews for Dr Roof Inc. For the most part I only found positive data trends on Dr Roof?s customer feedback or business history. Final comment, when the team is up on your house working in the rain, it?s a small effort and goes a long ways in offering them some morning doughnuts & juice, a sandwich lunch & soda, and an afternoon coffee & energy drink. These guys work hard.
