Recent Review: I've used SouthHill Plumbing before and found them reasonably priced, so I called them to check out my old tub/shower plumbing when we started a remodel. Tom is professional and does a really good job. He even gave me a few tips on the best way to tile around the fixtures. I'll use him anytime I have plumbing projects.

DGold Seal Plumbing
Needed a plumber ASAP in order to fix a pipe that broke when we attempted to replace our tub/shower fixtures. I already had someone coming to tile my tub enclosure. Called Gold Seal (I had used them once in the past) in the AM to see if someone could come out that morning. Was told someone would be here between 10-noon, and sooner if possible. I thought I was told that the price was $150 for the first hour, and then $47.50 for each additional hour. Plumber called at noon and said he was running about an hour late. He arrived at about 12:50. He worked for 3.5 hours and said he would return the next day to trim the fixtures after the tile setter finished. He said he was unsure whether he would be able to fit the tub spout that came with the set I had purchased, but he had a spout that would just slip on. I asked if I should get another set, and he said no, that he could provide the spout. He arrived the following day (was supposed to arrive between 2-4 and arrived at 3:52) and finished the work at shortly after 5. Imagine my surprise when my bill came to $723.24! The charges were actually $150 for the first hour and $47.50 for each additional half hour, plus $59 for the tub spout. In addition, I had to call the office because he charged me for an extra hour. I had to wait for a week before I received a refund for the extra hour. The quality of the work, thus far, seems good. If I could do it over, I would have asked for a quote from the plumber once he arrived. This would have alerted me to the fact that I was paying by the half hour after the first hour. If I would have realized how much I was paying, my husband could have finished the job once the tub/shower valve was replaced and we would not have had him repair the leaky faucet. At $47.50 per hour, I wasn't that worried about how long the plumber was here. At $94 per hour, I would have been a lot more vigilant. I would have also asked for more information about the tub spout. The set I purchased (same brand as the spout he sold me) included a spout, and it cost $115. I wonder if I could have gotten a set without a spout for less money, or a spout that would have fit for less than $59. Lessons learned: confirm price once the plumber arrives and check your bill. I called the office to complain about the rate and was told that is their rate. I'm sure that when I was quoted the rate I repeated it because that's what I do. Apparently we each heard the other incorrectly. I also asked to get a copy of the charges for materials because it was a lump sum on my bill--that's how I found out the spout cost me $59. I also refigured the number of hours I was charged, and it turned out that I was charged for an extra hour (which was refunded to me).

ANoble Plumbing & Heating
I contacted Noble Plumbing and Richard returned my call the next day. We scheduled a quick visit out so we could discuss the job and his bid was what I thought a fair price so I went with Noble. Richard was very competent and worked quickly taking extreme care to keep the house clean. I was very impressed with the quality of his work and we have had no issues whatsoever with any of the work he completed. He also talked to us in detail about the hard water issue and sediment problems we were having being on well water. He recommended the most economical products and saved us a lot of time and money. I would definitely hire Noble again if the need arises.

BDelta Faucet Company
I purchased two  Delta Linden Monitor® 17 Series Tub and Shower valves and shower head with wand  for two shower/baths in my new home. I liked the versatility of having a wand and a larger shower head, this combined the two. One unit, as I discovered later, was installed improperly by the plumber and, as a result, leaked. After a year of trying to stop the leak myself, I contacted Delta. I was amazed at how helpful and efficient they were. They did not just replace the part that was damaged, a small plastic washer, but sent me by FedX a completely new shower head. All this in just a few days. Can't beat Delta for service. I have used their products in several homes I have remodeled or built. I would recommend this unit, however; it has been discontinued. Still, I would recommend using Delta Faucets.  Delta Faucets still has the kind of personal customer service that has mostly gone away with the advent of Internet communication.  Their products are of good quality, stylish, cost effective and you just can't beat the service after the sale.

AAAA Plumbing
I had a rental unit develop a leaking shower valve on a Saturday afternoon which was causing wet floors and needed repair immediately.  I called AAA Plumbing and they had someone on site within 1 hour.  Per my direction, he first tried to repair the existing valve by removing the old corroded cartridge, trying every trick in his book, but when it finally came down to needing to cut the old cartridge out piece by piece we then decided the best course of action was to remove the valve and install a new one.  The plumber worked quickly but carefully and made sure the work was done correctly, he was clearly concerned about doing good work and made sure all joints and fittings were done correctly the first time.  At one point he was missing a required fitting, so he quickly ran to a supply store and returned to finish the job without missing a beat.  He was careful to clean up all of his work area and test the new valve thoroughly before calling it 'done'. I was impressed with this plumbers professionalism, friendliness, and work ethic. I was expecting a very painful bill due to it being emergency after-hours service and the significant labor that was required to fix the situation, but I was pleased to find the bill to be very reasonable considering the labor that was involved and the new hardware that was installed. I will definitely use this plumber again and would recommend to others.

AAbove All Contracting
Steven and his crew are a family run business and they are very talented at what they do.  Their quality of work is amazing.  They want their customers to be pleased and happy with the results.   The first bathroom needed so much repair.  There had been previous water damage from when the previous owners who owned our home to the drywall and in the shower stall.  The bathroom was completely gutted out prior to the start of Steven's crew coming in & new blue board was hung.  Steven's crew replaced the damaged studs in the shower.  The old pan was removed which was fiberglass and replaced with a dry-pack liner, drain, & curb and then tile which looked so much better and gave a solid base to stand on.  The previous shower door never shut properly and the new door had nice features such as opening in or out ,  Easy Clean on the inside of the glass, and a strong handle for gripping. The new valve was a nice addition with one pull handle & a shower head that had several choices on water spray.  I found I needed one with a better turn radius for both short and tall people.  We went with all Moen products in the shower area.  The bathroom is small so a pedestal sink made a more spacious look.  I had two different sinks delivered to the house and Steven's recommendation of a larger one was a good choice looking back.  The bowl is wide, deep, and lots of space around the top to set things on.   I found that not all "white" is the same.  The sink looked so white (Kohler) next to the round toilet (made by American Standard) which was more creamy white but I have gotten used to it.  Tile was added around the sink for the backsplash which matched the shower tile.  A custom mirror was installed above the sink.  A vanity light was hung to replace an old light fixture from the 70's.   A laundry box was installed which looked much better then the hole in the wall that was originally there.  A fan with a light replaced an old light fixture.  A timer was added which is handy to set for 10 minutes to remove the moisture.   Steven recommended a track light and it was such a great addition to adding more light to the shower stall.   The tile used for the shower was returnable once the job was done which was nice also.  The painting turned out beautiful.   The second bathroom had small 6 inch white squares of tiles in the shower and above the old vanity.  The addition of 12 x 12 tiles updates the look in the shower and the vanity top came with a backsplash.  The shower valves were replaced with a single handle faucet and the shower head has several spray choices.   It was nice to update all the fixtures in the shower area to the spot resistant brushed nickel tones.  I was able to find a brushed nickel recessed wall toilet paper holder which Steven installed too.  An elongated toilet was installed.  It feels taller and is a couple inches longer.  I ordered a 60 inch vanity that came with a marble type top.  Steven and his crew adjusted the plumbing for double sinks and installed the vanity.  Since the vanity came with chrome handles I went with chrome single handled faucets.  Custom mirrors were hung above both sinks.  It would have been nice if wood framed mirrors were available with this vanity but I ended up going custom brushed nickel framed.  It looks more updated then just a large piece of glass like what was originally there.  The paint turned out so nice compared to the wallpaper that was coming off the wall.  All the brushed nickel towel rods, curtain rod, and shower curtain rods made great additions compared to the old chrome previously there.  I did have to go with a longer shower curtain since the rod was higher and I found a no hook curtain that has a snap inside liner that can be removed to wash.  The vanity light was also a beautiful light above the vanity compared to the old gold 70's style.  A fan was also added to this bathroom with a timer which will help tremendously with moisture.   9. Steven and his crew were great to work with.  They would remove their shoes when they entered.  They kept the area clean while they worked and they always open to questions which helped me a lot thru this process.  I will be calling his crew to do more work in the future.
