Recent Review: Three repairmen came in the early morning and had all the tools and equipment that would need to complete the instillation of both the air conditioner and the heater. Yes we decided to replace both units. I did not watch them do their work, but at the end of the day everything was plugged in and working great. We were happy since it was installed in the hottest day of the year. The repairmen did a very professional job. It took about two weeks before the city inspector came by and approved the job. We are very pleased with both the air conditioner and heater, especially when it is 100 degrees outside like it is today. Overall the job was finished on time and everything is working fine.

Recent Review: I am so pleased with the service I received from Nick and The Barton Boys! My air conditioner stopped working two days before the 4th of July holiday. I didn't realize this until the evening of July 2nd when I returned home from work. I thought it would be impossible to get someone out to fix it before the 4th. I called multiple different air conditioning repair services that evening and, even though many said they offered 24 hour emergency service, I didn't get a single call back. However, first thing in the morning on the 3rd, Nick from the Barton Boys returned my call and apologized for not getting back to me sooner. I was just so happy to get a call back as nearly all of the other companies either didn't return my call at all or told me that they couldn't get out to even look at the unit for 5 - 10 days. Nick asked me to explain what was happening with the unit and he quickly diagnosed the problem over the phone. He gave me a time that I should expect him to arrive on THAT DAY! I was amazed that he was prepared to fix the air conditioner that very day! He actually arrived even earlier than he anticipated and had the air conditioner fixed in a matter of minutes. Yes, literally minutes! He didn't expect me to leave work and come to the house. He didn't require me to sign any repair agreement. He didn't expect payment up front. He just went right to work and fixed my air conditioner! What fantastic customer service! If you happen experience the same misfortune of having your air conditioner quit working during these hot summer months, don't even bother calling any other repair service. JUST CALL THE BARTON BOYS! THEY ARE THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS!

Recent Review: Our central air conditioner wasn't working, period. Pat came out, on time, made an investigation, and pleasantly informed us that it was a trivial electrical problem which he fixed. He then proceeded, with our permission, to inspect a few other things (without increasing the end bill) just to see that all was well, which it was. So, this was the consumer trifecta - on-time, good quality (and honest) service, and an excellent price.

Recent Review: I called Norco in the morning and I had a technician at my home by 10am. The tech was very professional and diagnosed the problem and fixed it, in about 50 minutes. He came back and cleaned up every bit of mess made and left the area as if he was never there. This shows respect for my home. He was very polite and I recommend Norco.

Recent Review: Called several local companies for an A/C estimate for relative's house.  Unfortunately it was during a local heat wave, a very busy time for A/C contractors.  They had to reschedule the first appointment due to overbooking, but were able to make it the next day and were on-time for all subsequent visits.  Their estimate was lower than two other outfits, but it was for a 2.5 ton unit rather than a 3.0 ton unit the others had specified.  I asked them to come out again to do a more involved load calculation to ensure we were getting the proper sized unit and they quickly complied and confirmed that the 2.5 unit was the proper size (bigger unit might have  been inefficient due to "short-cycling").  Confirmed the purchase and they set an install date 2 weeks later (remember the heat wave?).  Then they called back a day or two later and said they could fit the installation in the schedule for that Saturday, only 4 days after purchase.  Install was quick and efficient.  Relatives were extremely happy to have cold air so quickly!  They installed a Trane unit which included an extended labor warranty coverage period and gave us a military discount to boot!  We also use R&R for annual service for our own furnace and A/C systems and they have always been prompt, courteous and efficient.

Recent Review: .I think the service was great and they came out and gave me a solid estimate in advance and told me exactly what equipment they were going to put in. When they were here it only took them a morning and they didn't have to come back and do anything or finish anything up. It was all in and it worked fantastic as far as I can tell everything is working fine. I have had no need to call them back on the furnace. I do have an air conditioning issue not related to that job but I will probably use them for a new air conditioning unit put in next year.

I had called Spokane Comfort Systems in early May about coming out to check out my Furnace and AC system. I knew the AC system could not be checked properly if the outside temperature is below 70 degrees. The cool and wet spring would probably not allow this to happen until later in the season but I wanted to get on their list. The person I talked with to schedule an appointment was courteous and provided me with the price and details on the service to be performed. The price was competitive with the two other outfits I called. They also were more than happy to notify me a day or two in advance if the weather looked like it would be warm enough. The price ended up being higher than quoted but was expected as the tech had to add some Freon to my AC unit. My AC unit has never had Freon added since it was installed in 1997. After waiting for the weather to cooperate sure enough I received a phone call 3days prior to when they would come out. They gave me a specific time and said they would call me if the weather changed. Luckily the weather held and about an hour before the tech was scheduled to come out he called me to let me know exactly what time he would be at my house. This was better than I have been treated by other similar businesses in the past. When the tech was here, he took the time to explain to me each check he was doing. Now I am a person who wants to know what is going on and why. The tech didn't wait for me to ask questions and started offering information while I was with him. I'm sure if I wasn't interested he would have summarized what he did before he left. He did find that one of the AC compressor "Shrader" Valves, used to check charge or refill with freon, had a small leak. He repaired it and added freon to the system. Anyway, I found the tech to be very knowledgeable, thorough in his checks and test, and he used some very nice test equipment to perform his temperature tests. This was one of the most thorough system checks I have ever experienced. My AC unit is performing noticeably better, the exhaust air is cooler than it used to be. I will definitely call this company back for future work and highly recommend them for doing Preventative maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems.

DTrademark Mechanical Heating & Air Conditioning
Last year Trademark Mechanical installed a new central air conditioner. Last week it failed. We called them and were told that the compressor was under warranty and would be installed in two days. The next day they informed us that the compressor would be free but that labor would be about $600.00 since it had been 15 months, three months past the warranty's end for labor. They said the compressor would be in by the middle of the following week, which is tomorrow. Today we called and were told they didn't know where the compressor was. Later in the day they informed us that it was a week out, and they will try to schedule it for next Wednesday or possibly Friday. This is during the hottest part of the year with temperatures predicted past 100 and small children in the house. It is hard to understand how in this age of being able to trace packages from beginning to end they could not know where something this important is. It is also hard to understand why we had to call them instead of their keeping us informed, especially during such dangerous weather. Their initial assessment of two days has so far turned into at least two weeks with no guarantee of that being the end of it.

I saw their AD in the front of the local Exchange paper.  They took a little while to get out to the place but it was vacant at the time so that was OK. They explained in some detail the overall situation for these type of mobiles.

AR&R Heating & Air Conditioning
Central A/C was not working so looked up top repair specialists on Angie's List and Home Advisor. R&R was top rated company that had 24/7 service. I submitted a repair request online and expected a call back. After 2 hours of waiting, I called them and requested service. It should be noted that the online repair request is only available during normal business hours, M-F. If you require same-day service, you need to call. The service tech, Greg, called me about 4:30 pm and was at my home by 5. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and answered any questions I had. After explaining what my A/C was doing, he was able to troubleshoot and repair my condenser with parts on hand in about 30 minutes. Very satisfied with the overall experience.

.Our central air conditioner went out on a Friday evening after hours. (It was going to be in the upper 90's all weekend.) I called their after hours emergency number and spoke with the answering service woman. I asked if I could get someone to come look at our central air conditioner that had stopped working. Her response was and quot;Tonight?and quot;. I responded and quot;If not tonight then Saturday.and quot; This was only 6pm on Friday evening. She said that she could have a technician call me. She said they may call tonight or Saturday or maybe not until Monday. This woman was so rude and short on the phone she acted like my calling was inconveniencing her. I then asked if she knew what the cost for an emergency call would be and she said and quot;I have no idea? I'm just the answering service.and quot; She then asked for my phone number, so I gave that to her. She asked me to repeat it which I did. She then asked for my addresses and I provided that to her which she then asked me to repeat because she didn't get it. I told her to just have a technician call and I would give them the information and ask my questions on cost etc. since she didn't have any information anyway. Well I waited all night Friday for a call, Saturday at 11am still no call so I called another company who was at my house within an hour! Sunday and Monday came and went with still no call from anyone from Sturm. Tuesday around 11am I called and spoke with the manager at Sturm about my call into their emergency number. He pulled the call log and the woman had put in that I had refused to give my phone number or address but wanted to be added to the schedule. Hmm! Why would I refuse to give information but want to be on their schedule with no way for them to know who to call or where to go? She didn't even include my last name which I spelled out for her because it isn't a common name. Unfortunately for Sturm, they not only lost my business for the emergency call but also the sale of a new central air conditioner because ours was shot. Needless to say the manager was NOT happy with her. We had used Sturm in the past to service our furnace and central air so it wasn't the first time we used them. We never had trouble prior to this emergency call.

The guy kept trying to sell us a heat pump when we clearly we wanted central air conditioning. He kept blabbering on and on and on about his honesty which got very annoying. When he called to do a follow up and I let him know that we had decided to go with a different company he got very rude with me and actually hung up on me.
