Recent Review: It went great! I called and they were out the very next day measuring and installing new screens in my home. The customer service was outstanding and the installers were very friendly and polite. The prices were much lower than all of the other window companies in the area. I will definitely be using them again.
Recent Review: There are not many businesses that offer retractable screens in Northern Virginia so I was very happy find Tri State Retractable Screens. The process from start to finish was smooth and problem free. I mainly worked with Colby who is very professional and responsive. He was more than willing to work with me via email or over the phone. I provided him some pictures and dimensions and he was able to give me few different options with approximate prices the same day. After my wife and I settled on our choices, it took about 4-5 weeks for the factory to build the screen. After that, the installation was completed quickly and cleanly. My wife and I are very happy with our screens. I highly recommend Tri State Rectractble Screens.
Recent Review: Excellent. The glass is so clean it looks like there isn't glass in the frames! The workers were right on time, friendly, professional, and thorough. Tom, the boss, was very accommodating with scheduling, and during this busy holiday season, he was happy to work around my schedule. I highly recommend this service, and will definitely use them in the future.
Recent Review: Rob and his crew did a great job from beginning to end (estimates thru final cleanup) They were knowledgeable and professional throughout the work. I am extremely satisfied with my "new screen porch" I strongly recommend them.
We received an estimate from this company and later waited over a week for a return phone call. The representative then went on to explain to us on how we could lower the cost of our project. He explained that, ''their is wood and their is sub-par wood'' we could use sub-par wood to build our screen porch. Why would anyone want to do that? Why would we be told that? Anyways, we decided to chose another company. How could we determine if we were getting ''wood'' or ''sub-par wood''?

AScreen Doctor LLC
We have a screened porch on the side of our 26-year-old house that needed work. Dwayne checked, repaired, tightened all screens and replaced the screening underneath the porch with aluminum screening, which he recomended because it would not stretch like the fiberglass screen that he removed. He was really nice and did a great job.

FPremier Outdoor Structures
Do not hire this company. Once the contract was signed and a $4500 deposit was made, could not have been a worse experience. Dishonest, misleading, poor communication, unprofessional, no follow through. We decided to cancel the contract with cause for unprofessional operation, and since that time the owner has refused to return our deposit. Essentially trying to steal $4500 from us. Will likely have to go to court to recoup our money.

CScreen Porch Specialist LLC
We hired Screen Porch Specialist to replace a screen door on our rear porch. Squirrels had chewed through the screen and the door was flimsy and showing a lot of wear. Clint is personable and patiently explained the various options from cheaper (door screen only) to more expensive (replacing all the screens and wood trim on the porch, plus the door). There was a bit of hard sell for the more expensive option, but I kept the job focused on the door. The job had good and bad aspects. Clint did nice work on the door itself. The new vinyl screen is stronger and more durable than the original. The screen is securely mounted and nice and tight. The hardware is high quality, and he painted the front of the door and put a nice stain on the back side and on the new door stops that he installed. The stain really improved the overall look of the door from the inside. The bad: inexplicably, he cut into wood trim and new vinyl siding to accommodate the new door, rather than trimming the door to fit the existing opening. The wood cut is uneven and the edge of the board is splintered. These alterations had the unintended consequence of exposing the edge of the insulation behind the siding. When I questioned him about it, he said the door was “odd size” and that the insulation needed to be cut back. But this would be difficult because the insulation is under the siding. We are left with the problem of how to cover the exposed insulation (and restoring the look of the trim). I was at work when the door was installed and would have much preferred a phone call before doing this type of alteration.

AManor Works Painting
Excellent every step of the way. Manor Works provides clearly detailed estimates and advised me of any potential additional costs. Alfredo and his team (Freddie & Freddie) were true professionals. I was pleased with the overall major paint job as well as Alfredo skill in woodworking and removal of an ancient outdoor antenna!.

ASteadfast Construction Inc
This is the second addition that Steadfast has completed for us. We used them to build a screened porch at our previous residence and they did an job. After we moved, building a new screened porch was high on our priority list so we went right back to Steadfast. This time we went a little bigger and added a fireplace. As always very impressed by Steadfast management and workers. They are quick to handle any issues and generally just good to work with. I've had a couple things pop up since completion as happens with all large projects, and they quickly sent folks out to fix them months after finalizing the project.

ACase Design Remodeling Inc
The project went incredibly smoothly from the design stage through completion. Case helped with the overall design and was very responsive to my ideas and requests for changes. Case helped with design selection as well and when necessary referred me to specialists in areas (tile, appliances) to help me make my choices. They were very sensitive to my budget adn found ways to work within it. Very few unforeseen things happened along the way, but when they did, Case was on top of it and found a way to charge me a reasonable fee for dealing with the unforeseen problems. The carpenters who did the work did a great job and were very personable -- very easy to have around the house for 2 months. I've used Case for all the projects around my house for the past 11 years. This was the biggest project and I am very pleased.
