Recent Review: The owner is extremely easy to talk to, was very flexible with scheduling, and assured me my new home would be thoroughly cleaned with the exception of hard to reach areas or tough stains. My biggest request was cabinets and drawers cleaned out because I didn't want to see and deal with the previous owners funk. They arrived late, but a call was made to let us know they were behind. The girls seemed nice and friendly. My husband was with them during most of the cleaning. I arrived when they had one floor left to clean. I was wrong to assume they did what they were supposed to. I should have checked behind them, and did not. Professionals should not have to be followed behind to make sure the job was done. No cabinets were cleaned, freezer left with ice cream in it, hard wood floors dirty, baseboards not wiped down, and shower with much scum left on walls. Toilet bowls appeared clean, but seats were not. We paid them and included an appropriate tip. The girls stood there talking about their tip in front of us and that they hope to get out house to clean on a regular basis. I found that tacky. I had also arranged for a move-out cleaning of the apartment we had been renting. The lady who did that job was very thorough, friendly, and did a wonderful job cleaning. I would hire her again and found out she actually has her own cleaning business and works for Got It Maid until her business takes off. I likely had a poor experience with 2 cleaning girls, not the entire company, but won't use them again. Moving is stressful enough without having to re-clean before being able to unpack boxes and settle into our new home.

Recent Review: I had a problem.  I'm transferring to a new location for work. I was told last week that they would let me know this week how soon they would need me to be there.  I could have a month to move or I may only have a week.  So, I needed a move out clean, but I needed one done with the majority of my things still in the apartment, because if I only have a week, I will not have time to schedule an actual move out clean.  The other cleaners I called were reluctant to work with me, saying they would need all of my things out of the apartment.  Molly Maid said no problem and quickly scheduled me for two maids to come over in just a couple of days.  They showed up on time, asked me what I wanted done, and quickly got to work.  I had moved all box and random items onto the bed and dresser or out of the apartment, told them if they needed me to move anything else to let me know. They did everything I asked and even things like wiping down the doors, which I didn't even think about. They were super nice, even when I had to keep walking through where they were working since I was still packing as they were cleaning.  I've already recommended them to a friend.  I wish there was a Molly Maid were I'm moving to, I would love to keep working with them.

Recent Review: Cleaning crew arrived at residence on 1 August 2013 at approximately 3:30 pm.  I was still in the process of removing items from the residence and although I was informed that crew would work around movers, the crew decided that they did not want to begin working until all items had been removed from the home.  At that time, I informed the crew that the kitchen and bathrooms were ready to be cleaned.  The crew decided to come back at 6:30 pm.  I was at the new home and left the residence open for the crew to begin work.  The next day, 2 August 2013, I arrived at the residence and to my horror, the residence was not ready to be turned over to the landlord.  None of the baseboards had been cleaned.  None of the light fixtures had been cleaned.  The residence looked as if it had not been vacuumed.  The stairs had not been vacuumed.  The bathrooms had barely been cleaned.  I was mortified.  At approximately 0900, the cleaning crew arrived at the home informing me that it got too late for them to finish the job along with the fact that because I did not leave a check for payment the owner did not want them to continue.  The crew again left the home and returned at approximately 11:30 am.  As I was at the new home unloading boxes, I left the crew to finish the work.  At approximately 2:30 pm I returned to the home and upon review paid the cleaning crew.  At 5:00 pm the landlord arrived and did her walk-through, she returned my deposit and we concluded our business.  The next day, 3 August 2013, I received a text message from the landlord stating, "The house was pretty dirty.  I had to reclean.  Anyway, just think you should get your money back from the service you used.  I just wanted you to know they ripped you off."  I responded by apologizing and asked her exactly what she had to reclean.  She replied, "The floors in bathroom and kitchen had to be scrubbed, vacuum (had to empty it three times), sinks, shower had soapscum, cabinets in bathrooms had not been wiped out, baseboards and doors needed to be wiped down."  My ex-landlord was gracious enough not to charge me for work that I paid this company $250.00 to complete.  I will not use this company again.

Fantastic service! I don't want anyone else to clean my house! I work from home and it's a tough balance between working and trying to keep the house clean! Iris is trustworthy and thorough. She listens to any special needs I have for the week and takes care of any issues. I love coming home to a clean house every week. It has made my life so much better to have someone I can trust will do a good job!

Roxanne came the previous Friday by appt. and gave us an estimate of the areas we wanted cleaned to begin with. I thought her estimate was a little low, but we did agree that if it took less (or more) time we would adjust the rate accordingly. Years ago I cleaned houses and I know how hard it can be! What I wanted: Mostly floors, vacuuming and mopping; also dusting. She and her co-worker, whom she had mentioned worked with her on Tuesdays, made quick work and went beyond what I expected: cleaning countertops and cabinet fronts, etc. She shook out the runner in the dining room which gets crunchy with 2 grownups and a little dog traversing it dozens of times a day, and vacuumed everything thoroughly. When they weren't sure what I wanted (e.g., put things away off the countertop, or just move, clean, and replace) they asked, and followed requests absolutely. They made the place look and feel so much better, without making a fuss about or disturbing the piles of stuff we need to deal with personally. Sometimes they split up and other times worked as a team in one room. What a relief! We've asked them to come back in 2 weeks, and will probably have them come every other week for the foreseeable future. Gradually we may expand our requests to other parts of the house, beyond the main living areas. And our little dog Munchkin adores her; I had to remove him to another area at one point because of wet floor he wanted to walk on, but they could not have been more pleasant about it. Five stars across the board. Very pleased. Intelligent, responsive, reasonable, efficient, thorough.
