Recent Review: They go through the garage floor and put it underground. They were very clean and punctual. They were very professional and power washed everything before and after. It was perfect. We have recommended them and would definitely use them again.

Recent Review: TERRIBLE. First, he only painted the roof in the back and not the front. When he power washed the back roof, he took off paint in spots on the stucco which he did not touch up. He did come back and do the front. After a storm, however, the roof he patched and painted in the back LEAKED as a DIRECT RESULT of his patch job, and caused interior wall damage. He told us he would come back, fix the roof, and repair the interior damage. We have waited over a month and not heard a word from him. DO NOT USE THIS GUY

1 - He was supposed to match the materials in the original house. He used much cheaper white pine instead of heart pine for the flooring. 2 - Workers taped paper on the floor so it wouldn't be marred. Months later, they pulled the tape up and the finish came off of the floor. Contractor spot stained which looked spotty and bad. Refused to fix until I offered to pay for 1/2 of the refinishing. 3 - Drywall dust was on every surface of the house because plastic wasn't put over doors to keep it from spreading. 4 - There's cracked tile in the new bathroom (see picture). 5 - A few months after the project was completed, a 7 foot crack developed in a new wall (see pictures). 6 - There's a leak where the new and old roofs meet. When it storms, water leaks into the attic, runs down the inside of the new wall, and comes out of the crack like a waterfall. Water also runs down through the AC ducts and onto the floor of the new room. I could continue but I think you get the picture.

.My husband and I bought a generator not even giving a thought that it weighted 231 pounds and how were we going to manage getting it around and to the spot we needed when an emergency arised. We are both in our 60's and on disability. So I went to work looking for a carpenter to make us a box of some sort to keep it on deck and out of elements.Everyone I called gave me estimate on phone without even coming to see what I was talking about.Except for Daniel he measured and measured went on internet and read up on specks of generator we had. Then came back a few days later and came up with creative idea of making it multifuntional. It is realy nice work it fits nicely on my deck is water proof on wheels and serves as small picnic table when I cook on our grill. The wheels lock and easily breaks down if I have to use it .He stood and watched to make sure I could easily break it down when I needed to use it and when done (power restored) put it back together. He also offered to help me take my grape arbor down that was broken by wind and he took all the wood to edge of road. And did not charge me a penny. If you hire this man you will not be sorry he is good, kind and careing.a trait hard to find any more.He also told me he has in OK. a cabinet and furniture shop he owns so he can make cabinets and furniture also.

FSouth River Contracting
The project was supposed to start on September 3rd and be finished by September 13. When September 13 came he did not show. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and he took advantage of it. He started the work on the 20th and then I did not hear from him for 3 days. Then he came for one day and disappeared again another couple of days. Eventually, I had to threaten to cancel the contract since he did not follow it whatsoever. I had a tenet ready to move into the house on October first and when I asked when the bathroom would be done he kept giving me the runaround. Also, he broke my storm door and refused to accept responsibility for doing so! Longer story short, the bathroom did not get completed until October 4 after the tenet moved in. He never communicated with me during the entire project. He caused a lot of added stress and frustration for no reason. Once he did finish he was very rude about getting the rest of his money and he tried to charge me more than what the contract stated!! I protested and finally received the contract price. It's a shame because the bathroom did look great. However, other people can do the same thing within the time that they state. I would not recommend South River Contracting! I will never use them again!!
