Recent Review: It took a few days to get them here for estimate and suggestions for replacement of my roof. Then weather delayed starting date several times. Once they were able to start the crew of 4 went right to work. I have a 100-year old house and understandably there was rotted wood in areas which needed replacement even before the new roof could be installed. It took a total of 2-1/2 days to complete the job. I am very pleased with the new roof. My house looks wonderful. The owner kept me up to date on the progress of the job and any problems noted by the workers which needed repair. They took care of it all. They used quality shingles and hand nail all shingles, which is a better installation method than nail guns used by other contractors. This method is best for holding up to wind damage, and my house seems to be prone to heavy wind damage each year. I feel I can know my new roof will hold up against the heavy winds we experience here in the Roanoke valley. The price was a bit high but worth it for the quality of service and materials.

Recent Review: All-In-One was impressive from my initial contact with them to the completion of the work. Reading materials regarding their company and the service they provide were mailed to me before they even arrived to do an estimate.  The estimate was professionally prepared inclusive of photos of the existing roof.  Every aspect of their estimate presentation established their credibility and instilled my confidence in them.  A job I thought would have taken 3-4 days was completed in a single day.  It was amazing.  Were it not for the impressive new roof, I would not have known they were there.  What an exceptional job from beginning to end.  Al-In-One are true professionals and great people.

They had to rebuild structural areas due to water damage and got all the work done before a major storm hit.  The team was professional and hard working.  The quality of the work is good and I'm very pleased.

The roofing crew were great! Quality work, fast service, and professional! We had gotten several estimates prior to choosing Shenandoah and they were able to beat the competition by far.

CCenvar Roofing
When we first contacted Lynchburg Roofing, they had not changed to their new name yet. They are now CENVAR Roofing. I don't remember the date of the initial call, but we were put on a waiting list pending orders in front of us as well as pending weather. When we did receive a phone-call for the date of install, it turned out to be the week of Hurricane Florence. We scratched our heads since one of the reasons for the delay of several months was the inclement weather. Nevertheless, three pallets were dropped off at the top of our driveway. Not a big deal, however, we had made room in our garage for the materials to keep everything dry during hurricane week. Our first complaint was that many of the pallets were not wrapped to keep everything dry from the rain during that week. Most everything got really wet. Some things laid in mud while our two skylights got soaked. Nothing could be done about the roofing materials getting wet, but they did replace the two skylights since the cardboard boxes were drenched and had collapsed. As I said, it was the week of hurricane Florence and things got really, really wet. Our second complaint was installing the shingles while it rained. We didn't think they should be getting wet. We complained, but we were assured by the foreman it was OK. But that begs the question; why then were we put on the back-burner if this could have been done in the rain? Because we were concerned, we did call the manufacturer of the shingles, and we were told they should not be installed in the rain. So that's a head scratcher. Our next complaint was we have a small "covering" over our back deck area that is not part of the main roof. The employees used this area to walk the shingles over to the main roof. Between four employees walking weight, and the weight of the packaged shingles, this was nearly 500-800 lbs. We had to yell at them to get off the roof because it was bowing in the center area. As a result of the weight, we have had several leaks during and after the rain. To their credit, they have sent a gentleman out (a few times) to repair the leaks, but we were discouraged during his last visit because he told us we would have to repair the area in question, soon. We thought that was their way of saying they would not keep coming out. But keep in mind it was not leaking prior. Because of the wet conditions, the grass area where they used the access lift was soaked. This caused the machine to leave large caved in areas where the water now pools. They were great about fixing it, by sending out a landscaper, but it has never really been the same and we have two areas that are very noticeably damaged. We have not called back about the gutter issues because we feel like we have become a nuisance. Water is dripping from the fascia area when it rains. Our final complaint was we felt like our initial complaints fell on deaf ears. During the install things were not communicated very well. We had to ask them when they were going to return since it was raining and only a portion of the roof had been completed.. We really believe they should have waited another week to do the roof, and that would have kept us from a great amount of frustration. After all, it had already been months, so what harm would another week have been. We had called the Lynchburg office to complain (about many of our frustrations) but since this was the Roanoke division doing the install, nobody in a supervisory position (at Lynchburg) would talk to us or return the call, but instead asked us to contact the Roanoke Office. On a positive note we will say; the employees were hard working and professional. We dont think they should have been on a roof while it rains. Many of these things could have been prevented.

After a day of torrential rain from tropical storm Michael, we discovered a ceiling leak & called Mr. Pierce; his crew had done prior work at our home & suggested we needed a new roof & guttering at that time; hoped to put it off until spring, but realized that waiting wasn't an option. This past week a crew came out & installed a new roof, the next day Seamless Gutters installed new guttering...the roofing crew was top notch, very professional, & did an excellent job on both the roof & clean up afterwards, as did the folks who installed the gutters...we found the pricing to be very fair, & the work was excellent, well pleased w/ our decision. Next project w/ this company will be windows/sliding glass doors...

They were very fast but thorough with their work on both the roof and vinyl siding. They sent a large crew for the roof so that job was done in only 3 and a half hours. The vinyl siding job was done by two very efficient workers in only 2 and a half days. Their pricing was also extremely competitive in both.
