Recent Review: There was some confusion initially in setting up service, as the person I spoke with on the phone had her days mixed up. She apologized, as did another person in a follow-up call, so that was appreciated--mistakes do happen. Ostrom sent out two men who diagnosed and repaired the issue we were having with our sump pump. The price was high, and there was no breakdown of that price, so we couldn't really figure out why it was so high. But we had a hard time finding a plumber who actually services our area and they did fix the problem fairly quickly, so all in all we were pleased and would likely call Ostrom if we have any future plumbing issues.

Recent Review: The process of them putting in a sump-pump system in my basement getting water seepage went pretty well. It took them a long time to get to me because, from what I understand, they stay pretty busy. I was initially told my job wouldn't get done until February 29, 2016 but they then had an opening on December 23, 2015 and they came in and jack-hammered around the perimeter of my basement, where the water was coming in, and installed the piping, sump-pump and reservoir. Initially I was told it would be a one day job but as it happened, they had to come back later to finish up. The first day they did do everything except bury the outlet pipe outside and then re-cementing over where they had dug up my basement to install the piping. For about a week I did have a gravel filled trench in my basement but at least I didn't spend Christmas shop-vacuuming up water like I had been doing. They came back on December 30, 2015 for about half a day and finished up the job. I thought the people at Seal-Tite were very nice to deal with.  Initially their estimate was over $3,000.00 but they gave me a little discount for having to reschedule my initial assessment and quote in November and they also honored their Angie's list coupon. The important thing, the water has stopped flowing into my basement which ruined my carpet which I had removed by another contractor. I now have the task of picking out new carpeting, getting the new cement sealed, etc., which will be handled by someone else. So far, everything they did seems to be working ok. If you do hire them, be sure to give them a deposit so you can be put on their short list in case they have a cancellation. It saved me two months of waiting time for them to get to me on their schedule. I did give them a "B" on their Responsiveness since they did take a while to get to me but it seems a lot of people these days are having water problems in their basements and crawlspaces so I can't "diss" them too much on that one. They did show up to do the job on time on both days which with contractors these days, from my experience, is a miracle.

Recent Review: I called and left a message at 7:42AM with my issue of needing a sump pump replaced.. I received a callback at 7:54AM from Jim. We made an appointment for him to come the same day between 2P-4P. He called at 2:59PM and said he would be at my house in 15 minutes. He was here shortly after 3PM and left about 4:20PM. Fast. Efficient. Problem solved. I think the price was about average. This was my first time using Eades and will most likely use them again.

ASeal-Tite Basement Waterproofing Co
Dealing with Seal-Tite Basement was a wonderful experience.  I have worked with other contractors in the past and always had problems with punctuality and the workers doing what the salesperson and I discussed would be done, but not with Seal-Tite.  The salesperson was very informative and explained the system very well.  The office staff was courteous and kept me informed of my schedule and answered all my questions.  The crew showed up on time each day, worked hard and took great care with my personal items in the basement.  The crew also cleaned up after themselves and explained things when done.  I would recommend Seal-Tite to any of my neighbors or friends in need of their services.

Company representative was very prompt, professional and courteous.  He was knowledgeable in what was needed and I didn't feel pressured to purchase any of the services offered.  At the end of the project, company cleaned up and disposed of all waste material offsite.

AB-Dry Waterproofing and Foundation Repair
I had a sump pump system installed in the Spring of 2016. The installation went smoothly and the system was tested and worked fine. A few months later, prior to leaving on a vacation, I tested the system by filling the sump basin with water. Water sensor did not work and pump did not come on. I called B-Dry and they came out and installed a new sensor and switch. Installation now works fine. Very satisfied with the level of service from B-Dry.

Wisler's plumber (Wayne) was on time, friendly and very professional. As promised, he gave us three options to fix the problem and the price of completing each option. All needed supplies were on the truck, so the washer was hooked up in a timely manner. Because this was a first-time washer, lines had to be run for everything to work. Before Wayne left, he verified the washer worked. He cleaned up all of the mess and left things exactly as they were found. The next day, when a load was run, the sump pump couldn't keep up with the rush of water, so it overflowed. We called Wisler again, and Wayne came out to make sure the work he did wasn't the problem. The problem was a faulty water pump. Wayne tried to fix the existing water pump, and when he couldn't, he again gave us three options for repair. The repair was done and tested and everything was cleaned up. We've run many loads and have no problems with either the washer or the sump pump. Would recommend them to anyone who needs a good plumber!
