Recent Review: The Sales Rep called and said the workman would be arriving about 1 hour earlier than previously scheduled.  He did; job scoped; brought the insulation into the house and got to work.  He did an outstanding job reinstalling and arranging the radiant barrier sheets above the ceiling areas which had been moved out of the way when the water restoration workers (we had a pipe burst scenario over the two rooms in February 2015 during the extended below freezing weather) previously removed both ceilings.  He installed the new insulation, removed leftover materials, cleaned up and departed in a little over an hour after his arrival.

Recent Review: The Brabble saleman impressed me with his knowledge of the trade learned from years of experience and suggested the appropriate methods for insulating my home. I had decided that in addition to the typical insulation I would add a radient vapor barrier on the roof rafters to reduce the temperature inside the attic. This is not typical for the insulators, but Brabble worked with me to install it and did a good job. I thought the job was well done and the price reasonable. In addition, communication with the company was easy. Since special materials were ordered scheduling required a few calls to determine when materials would be available and work could be scheduled. The workers showed up on schedule and completed the work in a day and a half.

Recent Review: Contractor is knowledgable and professional on Pest Control and I was 100% satisfied with this aspect of the work. Contractor was less satisfactory in the installing the moisture barrier and insullation, I performed an initial inspection and determined that the vapor barrier was only about 80% complete. Significant areas on the ground in the crawl space were not covered. There were also missing areas where additional insulation was required. I complained and the work was subsequently completed to my satisfaction. I am unsure if additional work would have been done had I not complained. Got the impression that the contractor personnel did not know what excellent quality is for installation of vapor barriers and insullation.

Recent Review: We own a 1916 Craftsman style home.  Many of the cedar shingles had cracked, curled and broken, and we were pretty much past the point of needing them replaced.  "Country" was our Jayhawk sales representative.  He was very knowledgeable not only of the products he was selling, but also on their installation, and he set me at ease almost immediately.  He also brought up the fact that if we had the soffits wrapped, we would lose much of the Craftsman detail of the home.  I really appreciated the fact that he seemed genuinely ineterested in maintaining some of the original charm of the home, even if that meant less work for them.  This was a big job, removing the old shingles was not easy.  The total time woked was 3 full weeks.  And while the clean up could have been better, (we're still picking up nails), I still give them all A's because of the quality of the work and the materials.  We couldn't be happier with the results.  Many neighbors have told us they love our "new" house, the result is that dramatic.  And while this was a big expense, I can honestly say it was worth every penny to us, and I can't give a better recommendation than that!

Business Description: Common issues with crawlspaces include cold floors, odors in the home, wet and damp conditions. The encapsulation process removes these common problems seen in crawlspaces. The process usually involves removing any existing subfloor insulation as this material holds moisture. The crawlspace foundation is then insulated using R-10 Foam Board on the foundation wall. We use a 12mil poly on the walls and throughout the crawlspace on the floors and the piers. All seams are made at 12 inches and we seal all seams with a 4" waterproof tape. The space is further enhanced using conditioned air from the home or with a dehumidifier. The system is complete with a sealed crawlspace door. Problem solved!

I have used American Insulation Services several times now. With out a doubt they are a top notch business. The services that they have provided for my company include; spray foam walls, batted fiberglass insulation in walls and ceilings, and batted fiberglass insulation and vapor barrier in crawl spaces. They continue to get all of our business based on three reasons; quality of work, service, and price I do not shop anywhere else when I have an insulation job that needs to be done. Chad and the family at American Insulation Services are the only company to call for all your insulation needs. Coerse Enterprises LLC

BFusion Heating, Air Conditioning & Insulation
I needed retrofit ductwork repair involving removing an old duct trunk line and reinstall a new one with insulation due to condensation problems the previous one was having. Fusion had the median of all the other contractors’ price points who I conferred with for completing the work. They also displayed the most confidence in being able to do the work to my satisfaction and rectify the poor craftsmanship that the original contractor exhibited. For the most part, the end result was acceptable, there was just some DIY work remaining which I had not anticipated. I acknowledge that retrofitting old flex lines and collars will afford some margin of error for exactness, but simple predesign calculations would have mitigated the problems observed post completion. Also, the insulation wasn’t complete as agreed upon, but I was able to install insulation for complete coverage of the whole duct on my own.

Outstanding, very happy with overall product. Final product is very neat and clean, and will improve overall quality and value of my house. Initially provided quote requiring no down payment. Quote was $2K less than similar company, whose quote did not include the structural repairs. Policy changed requiring 30% down payment at contract signing, but honored initial quote of no down payment. Honored $300 coupon. Agreed to more powerful dehumidifier than quote to ensure adequate coverage per manufacturers recommendation. Installed girder entire length of house at no extra cost, though quote was for slightly over half the house. When drywall cracked after jacking, had painter respond next day to patch and paint. Collaborative final inspection. Had worker come back after inspection to tape minor rips in moisture barrier, and left extra tape. Took split payment, check and credit card. Cleaned up every day, had access to crawl space daily normally without requiring access to house. Trustworthy. Feel like they will be responsive if there are any issues in future.

He was prompt, curteous and had a competitive price, but with a lot of additions. He did some simple carpentry work, left no mess and suggested and completed the debris removal himself.
