Recent Review: The company is innovative, collaborative and responsive. The owner is fabulous to work with. He's flexible, reasonable and definitely follows through and follows up. We set up an initial consultation and from that, the owner took our ideas, constraints and budget and fit a project into our requirements. We had a concept of a fire pit and VistaPro enhanced it with a water feature. They were good at consultation. When we would ask for a certain feature, they were good about letting us know whether it were feasible, cost-effective and practical to maintain. They were straight shooters. And, most of all, when there were issues (as there is with any home project), they were accommodating, not nickel-and-dime and overly accommodating. I would highly recommend them.

It went great. The owner is very responsive and keeps me informed when he had to reschedule due to rain or traffic. They finished the work flawlessly. Will use again.

Ferry was courteous, competent and quick in his work. He reviewed the problem with the front door sill and determined how he could handle the problem without taking off the frame of the door. Then returned another day to complete the work. He saved a considerable amount of time by not taking off the frame first -- and thus saved me money since he charges by the hour.

I've been using them for years. A family owned business, the people that he has on his crew are all very friendly and when they leave my yard looks gorgeous. They honor the work that they do, they're honest and affordable. I recommend them to others in my area and will be using them again for any future needs.

AFull Sun Landscapes
We initially contacted Paul Grano, owner of Full Sun Landscaping, in the early Fall of 2011. He immediately set up an appointment to meet with us. After listening to our desires and what we thought we wanted from the project, he took a couple of weeks to design the project and then we met with him again. We reviewed what he had designed and after scaling back and phasing the project, he began in early November. This first phase involved removing sod, grading to establish the patio levels and moving the pool equipment (trenching and installing new lines). Next came the installation of the walls, boulders, patio pavers and a water fountain. Additionally he installed a walkway from the back wood deck to the front driveway, including a pad for the garbage cans. Paul was conscious of the need to ensure gutter runoff lines, water lines and low voltage lines were installed prior to the patio pavers. His workers did a fabulous job of working the walls around the boulders, which provided a nice break from just a continuous wall. In early spring of this year we contacted Paul again to ensure we would get the plant material in before the hotter part of the spring was upon us. This phase of the project involved removing the rest of the existing sod, regrading the lower portion of the yard, installation of a sprinkler system, resodding and mulching. Once this was completed, he installed all of the trees/shrubs/bushes/plants. Additionally he installed chalet stone along the pipestem, where there had been a gutter run-off problem. The final project was the installation of the water feature (water fall) from the upper water fountain area to a stone filled catch basin at the pool level.Overall the project turned out spectacularly. We are very happy with the look and have certainly enjoyed the use of the project. The next phase will be the front yard.

AThe Sharper Cut Inc
I've used Sharper Cut to develop the gardens in front of the house, terrace the front garden for a level field for the trees, bushes, plants and water fountain, and build out the back garden to include and expanded patio and fishpond with waterfall. Their work is superior...and helps give the house a more inviting exterior view to family and guests. I'd recommend them for any project great or small...and they can tailor the project for future growth based on your budget! The winter refresh and clean up went exceptionally well...as their work always provides!

Robert checked on all work each day. Ensured his crew knew what work was needed and did a final check upon completion. His crew were always on-time. Final cleanup was very good. Areas worked look brand new. Robert also told us to give him a call if any issues came up. We would definitely use Groff Landscape for any future hard scape work.

AClassic Stonescaping & Gardens LLC
The project started with a Facebook ad to enter a contest to win a stone fire pit. That was my first introduction to Classic Stonescaping and Gardens Inc. . Their website intrigued me with their use of natural stone imbedded into the landscape.  I am an architect that works Nationally and has won several awards for Senior Living Residences and finally looking at developing my back yard into a country oasis reminiscent of the rural VA mountains. Classic Stonescaping was the perfect catalyst to achieve my vision. Jeff Jones, also trained a s an architect, visited my home and together we planned a  course of action to transform my back yard. Jeff?s knowledge of his stone craft and keen eye of the lay of the land and its potential helped me to develop the plan. The first project , in December, was what I call a ?country patio? which Jeff provided a natural stone, retaining wall and then filled with a beautiful mixture of river rocks to mimic the shallow river banks of the Potomac in the West Virginia Mountains. Due to the success of the patio, this led to a second project that was both functional as a rain garden and created a unique landscape feature. Again beckoning to the mountain creek environment, we created a dry creek bed design and water less pond. (see first slide on the Classic StoneScape Facebook page which spurred my imagination.) Again Jeff met me at my backyard for a ?walk around? and together laid out the hundred foot stream bed. Thanks to Jeff, he helped me fine tune my vision to provide functionality and aesthetics. The stunning center piece, several ton boulder,  was not an accident but carefully selected by Jeff for this project which showed his thoughtfulness in satisfying my vision. All of his work was performed in a very professional and efficient manner. I have not found that to be common in the landscape business even on multi million dollar projects. Both projects only took about a day and half  each to complete, so disruption to the family was minimal. They were will organized and performed in a machine like manner. Classic Stonescaping?s staff were excellent to work with during that time. Working with me is not easy, especially when you are a demanding architect. Yet they listened to my suggestions and most importantly provided insightful feedback. The staff was always courteous, hardworking and most important happy and smiling during hard physical labor.   I highly recommend Classic Stonescaping and Jeff Jones for any homeowner or business owner that wishes to develop a Natural landscape/hardscape environment. You would be missing an opportunity if you did not at least invite Jeff for a ?walk around?.

FAppoloosa Landscaping
It was a terrible job. The quality of the work was awful. The guys first name is Charlie. He walked away with $20,000 that he didn't earn. They poured so much concrete and usually your suppose to use mortar. He used so much concrete that it took up about a foot of space in my garden. I had to get it dug out after they did it. He said that he could build a water fountain that I designed myself. It had a basin at the bottom that pumped the water around and over the rocks. The rocks he used were terrible. They were all different sizes, and it looked terrible. There were cracks everywhere, so the basin would not hold water. He knew it wasn't going to work, and that is why he asked for an advance, and he never showed up again. The work he did was terrible, and he never came back after I advanced him $20,000. I had to get everything redone. It was a terrible experience. I threw away $60,000. He was so dishonest. He shouldn't be in business.
