Recent Review: I have used them all through the years at different times depending on when the appliance needs repair. They do higher end appliances. As far as cost is concerned I don't even know if they do appliances in general or just the higher end stuff.

Jim Tolley (Jim the Happy Handyman) provides wonderful service!  He did professional, thorough, and solid work.  We were very impressed all around with the quality of the work.  He was very clear on timing and deadlines and kept me informed of deadlines.  I also had a very unusual circumstance which required very short turnaround on the work.  Jim was great about working to meet my deadlines and was clear about when things might take longer (though he was still able to meet all the deadlines).   He and his wife Deborah (who coordinates his scheduling) are a joy to work with.  I highly recommend Jim Tolley and will definitely use his serivces again!

DFULLER'S APPLIANCE
There was a long wait time, almost a week to schedule an appointment. When the technician arrived, my oven was working but beeping incessantly.  I had been turning it off at the breaker in between using it to keep it from beeping.  The technician diagnosed that it needed a control pad and advised someone would call me once they got the part. When he left, the oven no longer heated, so I couldn't use it at all.  I had to follow up twice to ask about the part at which time I was told that, as the oven is old, they could not source the part.  I got on the internet with the part number and had it ordered within a few minutes.  After ordering, I called to have the technician come back but was told that I needed to have the part in hand to schedule the appointment.  I didn't want to wait as the delay for an original appointment had been almost a week.  I overnighted the part, called the next day and was told it would be the next week to install.  Today the technician arrived and installed the part.  It took all of 2 minutes to install and check that it was heating, then he left with my $140 (in addition to the $75 charged to diagnose).  Literally, 10 minutes after he left, the beeping returned.  I immediately phoned the company and asked that he come back.  I was told that they would call me back.  Two hours later and still no call back, so I phoned them.  It is Friday and now, I am again told next Tuesday before someone else can come out.  I asked for and hope to receive my money back. The wait between appointments is too long and the amount charged for the 2 visits was too high AND I had to order the part myself. I still can't use the oven. I rated them a C on professionalism as the women answering the phone were courteous although often delayed returning my call.  I would not use Fuller's again and would not recommend them.

For reasons I don't understand, Doug's Maytag no longer services KitchenAid ovens, leaving me at the mercy of Davis Appliances. First time I had them out they were late, and then they had to order parts.  Heard nothing from them for weeks. Finally followed up, was told it all sounded familiar, but they had no information about my order.  Eventually, they figured it out and the oven got repaired.  LIttle did I know the Keystone Cops could get even worse. had a different issue with my oven. Made an appointment for today between 10 and Noon. He asked if I knew the model of my oven. No, don't you have it your system.  No, our system only goes back 5 months. My cell phone keeps information more than 5 months! I called at 1030 to make sure I was still on the schedule and was assured I was.  At Noon, I get a call from the technician informing me he was stuck on a job in Keswick and would be late, and might not make it until about 130.  Duh, and or hello, you knew you were going to be late an hour ago -- why didn't  you call me then so i would plan my morning accordingly? I called Davis to complain.  The fellow who answer has no idea just how unprofessional he sounds when he talks to customers.  "I would have called you to tell you he was running late, if he had bothered to call me to tell me he was stuck on the job.  He just wont ever call us.  Ive got two people out in the parking lot arguing about this exactly problem"  -- sorry pal, I don't give a rats rear end about your internal HR issues, that is  YOU problem, not a ME problem, what I care about is what are you going to do to make this right?  "nothing I can do, other than to reschedule you" How about not charging me the full cost of the service call?  "I don't have the authroity to do that"  Who does?  "Randy Snoddy"  Let me speak to him  "He is not available"  When will he be available?  "Who knows, he is hardly ever here.  You can try calling back tomorrow"  Ok, I'll call for Randy Snoddy tomorrow  "Good luck with that!" Just Wow!!!!! I am going to contact Kitchen Aid to let them know when we replace our appliances, we will be picking another brand to avoid dealing with Davis Appliances in the future

AFULLER'S APPLIANCE
After the diagnosis on the first day we chose to only have Fullers fix the oven 4 days later.  We ordered the refrigerator part online and replaced it ourself.  Fuller's Appliance did a good job, I would have them again.

Posten's arrived on time the day of our scheduled service. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I was impressed with how thorough and organized he was...even took time to explain everything to me and answer my questions. He gave an honest assessment of our gas oven...even though he could have easily repaired the oven, he recommended replacing it due to the appliance's advanced age. I appreciated this because it saved us from costly repairs that would've only been a temporary fix...instead of making the repair and charging us for service, he was honest about what was best for us in the long run. Posten's looks out for their clients. I will definitely call Posten's again in the future!
