Recent Review: Since my wife and I had used Joe Noonan's services before we expected that his communication with us would be excellent and it was. He got back to me the same day I called. We talked about what I needed and he set up 2 dates. The first for him to inspect what needed to be done and the second for when he would do the work. I sent him a list of things by email and he called back that same day confirming that he got it. The days before the inspection and the work day he called to confirm that he was coming. He came on time both days. Each job was done neatly and he cleaned up as he went along. We could not be happier with the end result. And the price was lower than I had expected.

Recent Review: I have approx. 450-500 sq. feet of ceramic tile. Tony replaced cracked tiles, cleaned the entire floor and grout joints, re-colored the grout and sealed it. The floor is original to the house from 1994 and he made the floor look brand new. He takes pride in his work and does an excellent job. I am very pleased with how the floor turned out.
Recent Review: Our experience was professional and pleasant. These are nice guys who walked us through the things we weren?t familiar with. A learning experience for my wife and me; we chose an alabaster color tile and epoxy grout. I initially leaned toward a darker grout with more contrast but changed my mind on the recommendation of the tile showroom. In retrospect I wish I had stuck with my initial choice. This would have eliminated the resulting grout haze which was impossible to see under the bright overhead lights when installing. After the job was completed and we went back to normal lighting (lamps) the haze was evident. My wife and I figured we could remove the haze with white vinegar and warm water. When we couldn?t I researched epoxy grout, learned about the difference, and decided to call a professional tile cleaner to take a look. He quoted an acceptable price and was able to chemically remove over 90% of the haze (epoxy is a bear to remove if not done on installation, and in this case because there was no contrast in the grout from tile any residual grout couldn?t be seen when wet). The floors are laid beautifully and after the cleaning are very nice. Overall, we are pleased with the final work of KB Contractors, and have no doubt this has increased the value of the property.
Recent Review: They did a good job in trying to match as close as possible the broken tile and it looks very good. Painting outside long front porch and partially paint an outside shed came out very well too. The tile grouting needed a second visit and they took care of it promptly even though they had planned scheduled appointments with other customers.
The grout work in the shower was excellent, the tile repair looks like brand new, and the customer service was first class.

Prompt response when I initially bought deal. He sent someone out to fix the grout and paint while we were waiting for the sink to be delivered. The grout fix seemed flaky as in literaly not hard. When the plumber replaced the sink, a huge section of grout that was repaired fell out. Contractor mentioned he would send someone out to fix the grout but he never did. Never replied to my last email. I also mentioned the plumber left a tool outside and he could swing by and pick it up but after a couple of weeks, I gave up and put it back in my house.

Received free estimate. Work then was scheduled and performed in a sequence of steps over multiple days. First, two loose tile sections were re-bonded to the sub-floor and re-grouted. Then, areas of broken and cracked grout were replaced with fresh grout. After overnight drying, the grout color and sealant were applied. Angelo was able to repair existing gouges in the floor tiles by filling them with grout that Angelo skillfully color-matched to blend perfectly with the tile. An extra visit was performed at no additional cost to take care of one more section of broken/missing grout that wasn't observed the first time. Scheduling and punctuality were a bit of a problem during the job. One visit was rescheduled to another day and the scheduled arrival time was missed usually by up to an hour. I must point out that in every case, Angelo consistently called ahead to announce departures from the planned schedule. Angelo and his assistant were polite and easy to deal with during their work visits. The results of the kitchen floor renovation were great. The renovation resulted in a floor that seems almost like new and should last for many years. The price of the tile and grout renovation seemed like a good value especially when compared to the cost of replacing the kitchen floor.

Tony (Mr. Gout) had cleaned our grout a tile a few years ago and did a great job. Before putting our house on the market we wanted the service performed again. I called Tony and he said he could put me on the schedule for next week. That was prefect since we were having an open house in 2 weeks! We have 2 dogs and a toddler, so our light colored tile and grout we looking pretty bad. After Tony was done the floors looked brand new again! He even fixed two tiles without charge. Tony was very professional and his work is worth every penny!

Angelo is the owner of the company, and he did quite a good job. He was late on one of the days he came. The only thing I was not pleased with was that he never talked to me about sealing the grout. When I went into a tile place looking to find somebody who would install tile for my kitchen, they told me that the grout had to be sealed, and I did not know if it was sealed or not. I called him back and asked him about it, which is when he told me that sealing would have been an extra trip and would have cost $50 extra. He said that he would follow up with it, but he never did. I bought the sealant, and I am putting it down myself. I know he is busy, but that was frustrating. I have to call him back to add some caulking to an area too. I did not get a second quote, but I think his price of $500 for one day’s work was high. I had gotten a word of mouth referral to use him to begin with. I may consider using him in the future.

My floor looks brand new again! I wish you could see before and after pictures. Tony Saba was professional, friendly and got the job done when he said he would. I am very pleased with his work and would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.

In good faith representation of a completely satisfied customer service, Grout and Carpet Wizard did not charge for the beta test. In addition, they championed with the customer for a complete refund of the prepaid from Angies List "Big Deal". Angies' List has submitted paperwork for refund with a simple call. The "Big Deal" refund is in process but the shining light of this project is on Grout and Carpet Wizards for their "complete customer satisfaction" motto.
