Recent Review: I was starting to lose hope that I'd get a knowledgeable, trustworthy, and well priced (meaning he gave me an accurate price - not too low and not really really high) handyman to do the odd jobs around my house. I called Frank that morning, he was able to fit me into his schedule within 24 hours for a quote, and then my repairs were done only a few days later. I couldn't have asked for much better. I will be recommending him to all my friends in the area.

The Honey Do Service, Inc. has introduced a new level of professionalism to the home maintenance / handyman industry. Many homeowners have become leery of the “handyman” trade. We utilize our network of licensed plumbers, electricians, and HVAC technicians to perform work not authorized under our General Contractor's license.
Recent Review: Poorly!! I would never hire again nor will I recommend them to anyone! Unprofessional, unprepared, wrecking crew that have no respect for your property or cleanup of any mess they create! Not only was work poorly done, but the biggest disaster was that they put oil stains on my newly installed driveway and large spills of rust water from old pipes too. When I complained, owner suggested that I try cat litter. I was shocked. Cat litter cleaned oil stains but rust cleaner was needed to clean the rust stains. Owner showed up 2 days later to pressure wash the remaining stains, which didn’t clean up anything. To date I still have stains on my driveway, which the owner condescendingly stated, “I’m sorry you have three small dots on your driveway”! I asked to be compensated and owner suggested that I call it even because he had costs too and his time spent pressure washing was valuable, texted me a copy of his store receipt and stopped responding. A company (so I thought) will work hard and spend money to rectify customer issues that their employees create, not treat them as if they did something wrong. I have photos attached so that you can see what was done to my brand new driveway! Stay away and please do something i obviously didn’t do before hiring; check out the complaints against them on the BBB site!

The project went pretty good and smoothly. There was one minor hiccup which was that he had to order a part to fix the fridge, but luckily it was in stock. I just had to pay for his time to pick it up though and pay for the part (which was not his fault). He was very cost effective, honest, and looking out for my best interest. That's hard to find nowadays. His quoted price on the project itself was pretty right on target. He was also cheaper than the other handyman I got an estimate from that's on this list. Plus, he could do more than the other company. So, I'm definitely happy and will use him again when I need him for other smaller and bigger projects in the future.

Two guys arrived 13 minutes late -- outside the 45 minute window in which I was expecting them. They went right to work, putting the new safety hardware in the shower. They laid down drop cloths on the bedroom rug and in the shower and vacuumed up after the work was done. The supervisor had to go to a hardware store to get brackets for the stair rail (miscommunication between me and the owner on what I needed). While one guy worked on repairing the nose board on the stairs and installing new weather stripping around the door from the house to the garage, the supervisor installed the second handrail on the stairs. They vacuumed the stairs when the installation was complete. They provided the handrail (stained to match our needs), the brackets for the handrail, the safety bars for the shower and the weather stripping for the door. In addition, they measured the stair handrail that had been installed by the builder in case we want to change it to match. The builder had installed a handrail made of poplar. The stairs and the new handrail are made of oak.

Very fast and complete service at a great price. Was happy enough that I ask for a quote for more work to be done even before the first job was done.

Jerry did a great job replacing the boards on our deck. He is a perfectionist who went above and beyond to ensure that my wife and I were kept fully informed during the project, and were totally satisfied with the final result. I will definitely call him for any future handyman needs.

The work was well done. They were on time. They were very neat. The price was fairly expensive, but we felt that we paid for it.

They repaired the fence, instead ceiling fans, fixed an electrical problem outside, fixed a tile, and fixed a screen. They were awesome.

I've been a loyal customer of Williamsburg Maintenance for more than 10 years. Can't speak highly enough about the quality work and professional service this company provides. They repaired wood rot, replaced siding, a chimney frame. and an exterior door. They've painted the exterior of my home, removed small trees, and provided numerous handyman services both inside and out The owner is very responsive. His quotes are fair and transparent. He follows up long after the work is complete. An A+++ grade to the owner, his crew supervisor and his crews.

AMr. Handyman of the Fredericksburg Region
The handyman, Michael, showed up promptly, and did all the work meticulously and very well. He allowed us to pick his brain and gave us some very clear explanations about some irrigation and drainage projects we have in mind - even though Mr Handyman does not do these things. Michael was very professional and very easy to talk to too. I would confidently use Mr Handyman again.

He did patching on the roof and also removed debris from the gutters. He even did few other things. During the summer, we did window work. He actually did a lot of handyman work for me. They listened very well. We had three or four people come and give us the quote. They price was considerable. Their quality was very good.
