Recent Review: Start to finish 15 min. including reading instructions. Tip: when draining tank, take lower nut off then place bowl under bottom of tank. then raise old guts (fill), let tank water empty. Quicker than sponge - a lot less messy.

Recent Review: The ET Lawson representative came to my mothers home and explained their plans to us and that at no charge the company would evaluate her furnace and oil tank at the beginning of the contract. They cleaned and evaluated the furnace and painted her oil tank at no charge.

Recent Review: Great! Mr. Womack is a genius when it come to heating systems. We have an old oil heater but he knows exactly what to do with it. I appreciate that he considers cost and tells us our options. He always sticks to his price, too. He's on our speed dial for heating issues. I recommend him highly. I don't think there's a heating system he hasn't seen and can't fix!

Recent Review: We had two very old 250 gallon fuel oil tanks in the basement of the main residence at our church retreat. These tanks were at least 40-50 years old (perhaps older) and were at risk for rusting through and spilling hundreds of gallons of fuel oil into the basement. In addition, the fill pipe for the tanks was also very old and invariably leaked during a fill up, requiring cleanup of the leaked fuel oil. Also, the way the old tanks were situated, they took up a lot of floor space that couldn't be used for anything else. In looking for a solution, Furlong was able to provide us with two replacement double-wall tanks, which have an internal polyurethane tank as well as the external steel tank, and are extremely leak-proof and secure. In addition, these tanks are very compact, and can be installed side-by-side, with zero clearance, freeing up a lot of floor space. After the new tanks were installed, Furlong pumped the existing fuel oil from the old tanks into the new ones. The tanks also use an overhead fuel line system, which prevents having to run them through the concrete floor, and makes them available for service, if it is ever needed. Furlong also installed all new fill and vent pipes for the tanks. One of the big questions for us was what to do with the old tanks, and how to get them out of the basement. Furlong included that task in their scope of work, so all we had to do was wave good-bye as they were hauled away! Furlong's workers were very knowledgeable and efficient, and the finished installation looks great. And no more fuel oil smell! I was prepared for some mess what with taking out the old tanks, transferring oil, etc, but the entire job was competed with no clean-up required on our part. We are extremely happy with the end result.

Recent Review: Great! Mr. Dupee removed the old, leaking toilet and installed the base of the new one I supplied. While trying to place the tank on the base, we noticed it did not line up properly. We called the supplier, Ferguson Building Supply, who ordered a replacement tank from the manufacturer, Kohler. Mr. Dupree secured the toilet base and said to call him when the tank was ready. The expedited replacement came 2 days later and Mr Dupree came over that day and installed the tank. I will definitely call Dupree Plumbing the next time I need any plumbing work done. I highly recommend them.

AF H Furr Plumbing Heating AC & Electrical
Our hot water tank sprung a leak - our 3rd tank in a little over 20 years - and thanks to our water detection sensors (highly recommended), we were warned before a major flood occurred. This event occurred about 5PM and we had to place an emergency service call. Since we are regular customers with FH Furr, we were placed on their priority queue. The dispatcher told us within about 30 minutes, a technician would be enroute. When the tech arrived, he immediately assessed the cause and provided an estimate to replace the tank, pressure relief tank, and a water drip pan... all for about $2350, but as regular customers, we received a 15% discount; total cost of about $1997. The complete installation took about 2.5 hours - impressive considering this was a one-man show. The installation consisted of re-piping the feeder lines, re-aligning the gas exhaust vent, pressure relief tank, drip pan, drip pan drain line, gas line and the new tank. The installation was spotless, great solder joints, gas vent draw was realigned, and we had hot water within 30 minutes. The price of this work was extremely expensive and must be paid in full on completion, acceptance of the installation - no exceptions.

Our water heater was about 10 years old and over the weekend showers had turned cold far too early. I called Davis Monday morning and they said they would be out in about an hour, would drain the tank and while it was draining he would go get the necessary supplies and new tank. He arrived as promised, replaced the tank  - even moving it to a more convenient area - and cleaned up the area. I was very pleased with his professionalism and service.

James Phillips did a great job.  Punctual and very professional.  Replaced jet pump with submersible pump and relocated pressure tank and water conditioner tank.  The job was complex but James had no trouble and quickly had the work done.
