Recent Review: I would have to give BB&K 5/5 stars just because of the finished product. It was a rough start and took an extra-long time but overall, I’m thrilled with the results and expect to have them come back for more work. This started out as a kitchen remodel and turned into so much more. For starters, I had them put in new tile flooring throughout half my house (a double-wide). They also adjusted the roof over my back porch so that it slanted AWAY from my house so that when it rains, the rain no longer comes in thru my back door! During the job, I asked for and received 3 new windows and a new back door, which was not that easy since this IS a double-wide and requires special doors. For the new windows in my dining room, I asked for a real windowsill and Bill built it for me. In fact, Bill was so awesome that it would take a book to sing his praises! Not only is he professional and well-educated in his field but in many other ‘fields’ as well! I learned quite a bit during the whole process and I’m no novice at home ownership. All this was on top of a rather large remodel already with all new appliances, all new cabinets throughout the kitchen and laundry space, granite countertops and bar in addition to new lighting overhead and under cabinets. I chose some seriously different backsplash tiling which Bill did, not only a very professional job installing, but added some creativity of his own. He’s a perfectionist, which I just love! In addition to the main project, I asked for and received some extra handy-man help as I live alone and am a bit handicapped as well. The end result of all the time and effort is that my home is not only in a great state of repair (no more sagging floors and collapsing cabinets) but I am more organized than I could have thought possible. Remodeling is always a stressful condition and issues arise inevitably. With BB&K, all issues were addressed and resolved. I am now proud of my ‘new’ home!

Recent Review: They did a great job and were very friendly and professional.  I will use them for all my work in the future.  They explained they are very flexible in the type jobs they do from concrete work to bathroom and kitchen remodel to odd jobs including wiring and plumbing.  He is a licensed contractor in the State of Virginia and came with a nice reference from a contractor I have used in the past that had to quit work due to health reasons. They charged $200 for the entire job and my house including about 100 feet of copper wire so they were very reasonable on their price.  I provided the exhaust fan which was not included in the price.  The ceiling fan also was not included in the total of $290 on both jobs. Great contractor.  I'd recommend them to everyone.

Recent Review: Cabinetry with TLC were excellent to work with in the designing stage of the project. My wife and I went in with our ideas for a remodel and they worked with us closely along the way to come up with a floor plan we liked. They were very open to our needs and we liked the suggestions that thay made for us. We loved the fact that they are local and they were there every step along the way for the remodel. Like all remodels, there is inconvenience but they had the project schedule all laid out before they started. The project moved along well until we were interupted by the big snowstorm in mid February which delayed the project 3-4 days. All in all the majority of the work was very timely and the major renovations of project was finished in four weeks. All the people who worked on the project were very professional, excellent craftsmen and very clean. We love our new kitchen and are vwery glad thata friend recommended Cabinetry with TLC when we were looking for a remodeler. Highly recommentd them to anyone.

Recent Review: Poor quality of work & honesty. Craftmanship was to be high quality, but it was not. Once there was a problem(s), they only fixed one thing, but did not return or respond to any other calls or requests.

Recent Review: The people at Enquist had excellent ideas about how to completely remodel my bath to make it handicapped accessible complete with a curbless roll in shower. The project exceeded my expectation and they were the only contractor out of 5 that I called who was able to make the layout work for a curbless shower given that the bathroom was over the main support beam on my house. The bathroom project went so well that I also trusted them with a full remodel of my kitchen as well complete with total electrical, painting, tiling, and removal of old cabinets. They were excellent with follow through on any problems we had along the way and showed great attention to detail in electrical , tiling, and paint work. I would definitely use them again.

I was not pleased with the quality of work. They did a decent job installing vinyl floors and backsplash but other overall quality of the remodel was poor. The floor was not installed level at at the transition point where the cabinet/bar was installed and then he argued with me that it was the house sinking but only at a very localized point. After he finished he didn’t screw in the light fixtures on the backsplash and I had to do it myself however the screw holes and backsplash was preventing me from being able to install so I had to chip away the grout and backsplash to install. The sheet rock was not sanded down properly and the light switch box was installed crooked. I will never use them again.

FRoanoke River Cabinetry
Installation went well, installed by Blake's team. After 3 years our trash bin drawer sliders broke. (the ball bearings fell out, appears the trash bin holder is too narrow for the cabinet) I called Blake directly and he has made two appointments to come out an replace the sliders, both times he never showed up or even bothered to call. Quality of a business is not just the service rendered at the time of purchase and installation but following up on issues when needed. What especially made us mad was his time is apparently more valuable than ours as he never even showed up or called twice. '

FArtisans of Stone
I had granite countertops installed by Artisans of Stone, July 18, 2017, to complete my kitchen. This has turned out to be a nightmare. Their solution to my large gaps ⅜”-½” is to install more shiny black silicone and then sand to take the shine off. Other issues stemming from poor craftsmanship and poor installation consist of bad seams, discrepancies in overhang, unlevel granite front to back and poor white and black caulk application. The piece of granite to the right of the stove is ¼” lower than the left making the lip of my stove have more space for crumbs to accumulate. It looks bad, too. Completion to my kitchen has been drastically setback due to Artisans of Stone refusal to even come out and look at their work much less offer to make things right. The fact is the granite does not fit our walls front to back or left to right. They continue to ignore my dissatisfaction. Be sure and do your due diligence and find someone who provides full service laser templating, etc. This company uses foam and hot glue for templating which accounts for such poor measurement, but not for the poor craftsmanship.

RockFab quoted a completion date and met it. The cabinets doors were a perfect match with the pervious structure. VERY professional work. RockFab sales person was always available and responsive to any questions and concerns. I am thrilled with our kitchen remodeling!
