Recent Review: They took an outdated space and created a spa-like oasis. They removed a closet to give us a beautiful tiled shower and we added a tower between our two new vanities. Val added several thoughtful touches, including installation of an outlet in the back of our vanity cabinet for my hair dryer. He actually has an eye for design and helped with that aspect as well. He made suggestions that I would not have considered and helped us design the bathroom we wanted, but didn’t quite know how to create ourselves. I would absolutely recommend Irish Accents. Everyone was professional and friendly. I felt comfortable with them in my home, even when I was not there. The result was a brand new bathroom in nearly every way, and we love it! I have included before and after photos.

Recent Review: We needed are master bathroom renovated and had to do it with a budget in mind. I was up front with that expectation and Greg was really great bring me numbers right away if there was unforeseen extra overages and expenditures through out the project. We chose a hexagon marble for the floor and white subway for the walls with a large niche. I’m a DIYer with perfectionist tendencies so when I wanted something changed or fixed He did it right away no problem. I had him install a infinity drain with inlay tile and some tile around it didn’t lay right after grouting and I asked for it be fixed and he did it no problem. He was honest with what worked or didn’t when I showed him pictures of what I wanted. The crew was every polite and always cleaned up their messes. I had to do some extra cleaning some days and at the end. Duct tape used for the floor protector paper left a big mess to get up but whatever. We also did all the painting our selves to save some money and installed the new light and sealed the marble ourselves. Also the plumber he contracts with was amazing. Him and his apprentice did excellent work and I was extremely happy. I will have them do all our heating and plumbing from now on. Over all I’m very pleased and would ask Tomas Brothers back in my house to do more projects.

Recent Review: Tile with Style team, Jeremy and Matt were wonderful. They came to our home every day on time. We found them to be not only friendly and professional ,but very respectful of our home. They covered everything so our things were protected and they cleaned up on a daily basis. Craftsmanship was superb. They really made sure everything was perfect. My shower, absolutely is beautiful ! Of note, their estimate for the work was higher that others we received. However, the quality of the work, the excellent customer service was well worth it. We will not hire anyone else for any future projects we may have.

AIrish Accents & Renovations
Outstanding from start to finish. I had a complete bathroom renovation to include shower installation with tile, fixtures, shower door; bathroom floor leveled and tile installed; vanity installed; all new ceiling lights and all new fixtures to include moving electrical outlets, etc.; toilet replacement; painting and installation of new trim; and installation of towel rods, mirrors, etc. I could not have been more satisfied with their attention to detail, professionalism, and timeliness. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

AIrish Accents & Renovations
We used Irish Accents (Val Little) for an extensive master bathroom renovation project.  Val was a pleasure to work with, was on-site when he said he would be, coordinated the electrical and plumbing work, assisted with design ideas, did several mock-ups of some areas to assist us in visualizing final design and cleaned up at the end of each day.  His carpentry, tile and painting work were all excellent. He kept us informed of when he would need owner provided tile, fixtures, and paint. Val did an excellent job and we are very pleased with the outcome; would definitely use him again.

AIrish Accents & Renovations
I was so pleased with the job Val did with my deck and shed repair that I asked him to give me an estimate for my master bathroom remodel. The bathroom was a disaster with pink tile and sink, cheap vanity with formica top, ugly tile floor and no ventilation. Oh, and a pink rose wallpaper. So outdated, and a complete eyesore.  Val worked with me to design a completely new bathroom for a modest and reasonable budget. He replaced all the tile in the shower and the floor, installed a new vanity (including new plumbing), built a new linen closet and added a new exhaust fan and recessed lighting. The results are beyond my expectations. The bathroom is the highlight of my house now. The quality of the workmanship is top class.  Just as with the deck and shed repair, Val communicated with me regularly and I never had to wonder what was happening. He was willing to go the extra mile to help me with picking up materials and keep the work area as neat and tidy as possible. He was quick to respond to every call and text, and when changes were requested, he followed up right away. I can recommend Val without reservation, in fact, I will definitely work with him again on future projects.

I rarely write reviews and when I do, almost never negative in tone. Owning a small business myself, I understand how negative reviews can affect business. However you either decide to be a professional business and deliver what you promise or you don’t and suffer the results. The craftsmanship overall is very good (except as noted below). And, had Mark responded and corrected the issues, I would have been happy to recommend him. The job was originally scheduled to last about 3 weeks. It ended up taking several months. The reasons for the delay were various personal issues by Mark and Chris. A week or so after it was finally completed, one of the shower shelves separated from the wall and fell down and broke. I let Chris know immediately. This was in February time frame. Its is now August and they have not repaired it. Also, a few months after the job was completed, we noticed some of the shower floor tiles had come off. After numerous voice mails, emails and texts, Mark finally case out to look at the problems. He agreed he needed to repair them and said he would have Chris fix it the following week. That was over a month ago. Again numerous texts, emails and voice mails have gone un-answered. I can’t use my shower because of the missing tiles. So I’ve paid about $10k (including what I paid Mark and the material/hardware I purchased for him to install) only to have an unusable bathroom. I have no choice now but to hire somebody else to fix the problems. I’ll be sending Mark the bill.

What was supposed to take "6 weeks at most" took 5 months and he never finished the job! I was promised "3/4-inch solid Maple cabinets to be CUSTOM built by the Amish in PA" to accommodate my handicap/wheelchair needs. BUT when it came time to order the cabinets, Patrick wanted to install Builder Grade stock cabinets and "try" to attach separate cabinet doors under the sink because that area needed to be lowered for my wheelchair. When I refused to let him put builder grade stock cabinets in my $20,000 Custom Bathroom, he said that he couldn't afford to invest any more money in my project and he QUIT the work. He promised that he would have someone come back to fix the problems that are wrong with the work that he had already done, but that never happened and now he won't return any of our calls or texts. Right before Patrick quit the work on our house, I also found out that he did NOT obtain any of the required building permits for the work he did on our house. I specifically asked him on 3 different occasions, before and after he started the work, if he got building permits and he assured me that he had taken care of it and I didn't need to worry about them. Now, I have plumbing, electrical and structural improvements on my house that have not been inspected by the city to ensure they were done correctly and if I contact the city to report it, they will likely require us to rip out the new tile shower and the walls around the doors that were widened so they can inspect the work. Then I'll have to pay another contractor to come in and start the project all over again. I also had to order (and pay for) the doors needed to widen the doorways that he agreed to do for an additional $2000. I also had to research and order and pay for all of the exhaust fans, wall controls and the wall heater he agreed to put in my bathroom. My entire house is turned upside down and has been since August 2017...and now we have to find a custom cabinet builder to finish the job. We were unable to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas with our family because our house is the only handicap accessible. I never imagined this project would end up being such a total nightmare. Patrick is a smooth talker and makes you believe that he "just wants you to be happy with your bathroom". He lied to us about so many things. I really liked Patrick and I thought he was doing a great job (other than the time frame to complete it), but in the end it turned out that he lied to us about almost every aspect of our renovation. I'm not angry about this because that doesn't solve anything, but I AM very disappointed and sad that what I thought was going to be the best thing we've done in over 7 years, turned out to be the worst thing we've done!

Geoff Byers transformed my kitchen far beyond my imagination and gave me a drool-worthy master bathroom that captures the attention of all who see it. I first contacted him with my idea for moving the refrigerator back into the kitchen from the pantry/utility room where the previous owner put it, relocating the washer & dryer, and making one of two bathrooms wheelchair accessible (for potential future needs). After asking him whether I was wasting my time and money or not, Geoff presented me with a few alternative designs a couple weeks later. We went from there. The work included tearing out a small bathroom; demolishing a brick fireplace from chimney down to subfloor foundation; relocating sliding glass doors and the hot water heater; walling off two doorways and creating four new ones; and reconfiguring the pantry/utility room into a nice laundry area, utility closet, and short hallway. Geoff used the space from the small bathroom tearout to expand the original kitchen area. He added the space from the demolished fireplace to what was left from the general kitchen area to create a brand new master bathroom with attached large closet. (Don’t worry-- he put a wall between the new kitchen and bathroom!) The kitchen’s new footprint now allows for double the cabinet space that I had before, an additional pantry cabinet, and room for a table and chairs. It also includes two beautiful garden windows. Oh, and the refrigerator is in there, too. The new master bathroom includes a double vanity and a curbless tiled shower. Originally planned to have glass doors, the shower is so large—seriously, it’s big enough for three people—that the doors became unnecessary. The attached clothes closet is nearly the size of the small bathroom that was torn out to expand the kitchen. Geoff’s experience and background enable him to offer design ideas or troubleshoot your own. Additionally, he is not shy about telling you what he thinks about your plans if you ask him. If yours is the only job that he has scheduled at the time, Geoff will be on-site every day, all day, and actively working. Even when jobs overlap, you will see him regularly. If he hits an unexpected roadblock, he has the know-how to blow through it with minimal delay…or none at all. He has one primary assistant, and the plumber, electrician, and drywall person that he uses are skilled and respectful. If you are interested in a summary of the work that has been accomplished each day, Geoff will patiently walk you through a “show and tell” before he leaves. Just let him know that is what you want. He will also tell you what the future steps are—for the next day, the next week, or the project overall. Furthermore, he is quick to respond to any communications that you send him. Texting worked best for us. I am extremely pleased with the work that Geoff did and the dreamy spaces that he created for me. They far exceed anything that I could have imagined when I first began to look for a contractor. You too will be happy with the final results if you hire him. Geoff Byers is the increasingly rare contractor who is extremely skilled at what he does and refreshingly ethical in his treatment of the client.
