AWFUL. These guys subbed the work to a non-licensed contractor, Andy VanAlstine. It took the crew over 10 weeks to drywall and they did not mud the lines properly. At times Andy's teenage son was working. In order to make up time, they had their paint sub, Mays Painting, sanded and then applied paint on dirty walls with no primer and diluted the paint. We came to find out later, they used low grade flat paint and mixed several colors. So instead of one color paint, we have four shades of brown in the same rooms. There were areas of trim never sanded and some not painted. We repeated asked our builder and his son (acting foreman) to fix the situation. We were assured another crew and more skilled would be put on the drywall job. They never were. We released the crew and noticed troul marks, joint lines, squiggly lines, bumps and soft spots throughout the house, no straight corners anywhere. They sent back the owner/manager John. Who began pencil marking EVERY wall and ceiling as they needed repair, amplifying the problems. They sanded the garage floor to get paste off (it looked like birds had been living in our new home). The crew was careless from everything from garage door openers to ladders on the newly finished hard wood floors. We had issues with our builder who stalled for 10 months and were not given any resolution. Owners John and Nathan told us they hadn't been paid and when we settled with our builder, as part of our settlement they were to have been paid in full and work with us on resolution to the issues. Upon verification that they were paid for the job taking our money in full . They refused to make any repairs, stating we had been compensated. We never saw a repair or dollar towards fixing our $30K problem. Nor did John or Nathan make any effort to come see the extent of the damage after the first attempt. The damage is astronomical and overwhelming. They took ZERO responsibility for their part in the workmanship.
