Recent Review: Victor , the owner, and Rocco arrived shortly after 9a.m. on August 26 to begin the fence installation. They removed the old fence and will dispose of it. They laid the ground work for the new fence and began installation. Rocco was wonderful and worked hard all day, even through some light rain. My dogs can now run free without worry of them finding a place to dig under the fence. This type of fencing has opened up my property. It is nearly invisible from a distance and has been a great improvement to my back yard. I am extremely pleased with the fencing, the price, and the workmanship. They also affixed some wiring to the bottom of the stockade fence that is remaining on the right side of my property. If you have pets and want a great fence from a wonderful company, call Victor. You will not be disappointed.

Recent Review: The gentleman's name is Justin Shomo. I've interacted with him several times over the last several years. I've seen a good bit of his work and he does a great job. They use good materials and they use nice posts. They use first class type wire. He does a first class type of job at a fair price. It is not the lowest price but it is fair. I talked to him yesterday and I'm going to use him again shortly.

Recent Review: We hired Appalachian Building Concepts a few years ago for a Bathroom re-model and were thrilled with the results. Mike was the first person I thought of when we were discussing the new projects noted, this time for our in-laws who recently moved in with us. Having worked with Mike and Lou before I knew we might have to wait for another job to finish, but I knew their work was quality, so we were willing to do so. Fortunately, they had an opening in the schedule that we happily filled. My grade of A on the price I must qualify by saying that while Appalachian Building Concepts isn't the cheapest, they use quality materials, and the company does quality work. I must also note that our project came in under what he quoted us, which is always a nice thing for a customer. For the discerning customer who reads these reviews, please also understand that sometimes there are unexpected complications that are encountered on-the-job, that weren't counted on in the initial pricing. For this reason, you may want to consider the quote a "best estimate" rather than an exact figure - having worked with more than a few contractors, this isn't unusual, but I can say I've only ever known Applachian Building Concepts to be fair and honest in their business with me and my family with regard to price. Mike knows this, but for the sake of this review, yes, I'd absolutely hire again and plan to do so soon. We are very happy with the new vinyl fence - this was the first item completed, and gives us an extra option for the dogs (ours and our in-laws') with concern to extra space for them to wander without wandering off, while also providing great curb appeal. The job also entailed installing a shower and Washer/Dryer hookup where none previously existed, so some plumbing was required - We're very happy with the end result, and Appalachian Building Concepts also fixed some previous plumbing such that our workroom sink drain is now hidden instead of just emptying into a floor drain from a PVC pipe. We also had Applalachian Building Concepts put in a new Kitchenette with Sink for our in-laws. It has transformed what was just a large living room into a true "in-law suite" for my wife's parents. Lastly, to make all this work, we had to move our electric master panel over to another room approximately 10 feet away from where it was, and upgrade the service. This part was subcontracted, but Mike managed to find from a previous working relationship on our behalf an electrician who could not only do the job at a great price compared to the other two quotes he got, but could start right away, whereas the other electricians wouldn't be able to start for weeks. Overall, highly satisfied, and would recommend to anyone looking for these types of projects.

Recent Review: I am very happy with the results. I got a prompt response when I asked for an estimate. The fence was installed within a month of the estimate. Everything went as expected. I am very happy with the quality of the work. The fence looks great. I would recommend Affordable Fencing and hire them again.

Recent Review: I called Beaver Creek Fencing and they came out to give me a quote. The arrived exactly at the agreed time and was very professional. The quote was very competitive. We did have a couple of delays because of some equipment problems and weather but each time I received a phone call explaining the issues. When they arrived they did a great job and I was extremely pleased with the end result. I had one board that was starting to bow after a few weeks and I called and they came right out and repaired it with no questions asked. ( This amazed me because from their office to my property is about an hour and thirty minutes) I would highly recommend Beaver Creek Fencing to anyone needing fencing. Great people and great work!!!!!

ASAM'S FENCING
Sam's Fencing did a fantastic job with our 4' dog-eared picket fence that we had put in our backyard to help contain our kids and pets. ASAM'S FENCING
I called Sam's for an estimate because they were recommended here on Angie's list. I bought a home in VA and didn't know of any reputable fencing companies. I have 3 small dogs and needed a fenced enclosure on the 5 acres of property we had just purchased. I called this company and they came out promptly and gave us an estimate. Communication was friendly and professional. They sent a fencing contract online (as we were still in NJ when I made arrangements with them) and installed the fence when promised. The fence was completely installed in 2 days. We were very happy with the service and quality of materials used. I would highly recommend Sam's fencing.

DAffordable Fencing
There was no issue with the speed in which they completed the job and the look of the finished fence. The problem came when the city issued a citation almost immediately that the fence crossed boundaries into a designated alleyway and one side of the fence had to be moved. They had not gotten a permit to build the fence and I called them immediately. The owner showed up promptly and was dis-enheartened by having to move such a pretty fence. They were to get back to me to move the fence, and they never did. My calls were not returned, therefore I gave up. Why am I back on Angie's list looking through fencing providers? I have to have the back run entirely replaced because, after a couple years, it began sagging and now is being held in place by a ratchet strap. Since I had paid a hefty sum for the fence to begin with, I had to wait until I could afford to do the work needed on the sagging fence. I saw this provider's name and felt compelled to share my story so individuals can make an educated, sound choice when shelling out our hard earned money to individuals we trust to do the work correctly. ASAM'S FENCING
John was professional from beginning to end. I think Sam Fencing has the process down pat - it went as others have described here. I got an estimate mid-summer and then my general contractor (who is pretty precise with his guesstimates) priced the work roughly the same and had some positive words to say about Sam Fencing. I went with them, paid a deposit and then the fencing came in within about 2 weeks of signing the contract, as John said, and they were out to install within a couple of days (I don't recall exactly the time frame but it was very soon). Took 1.5 days, everyone was nice, the fence looks good and so far, we are happy with it. Very pleased to get our yard fenced!
