Recent Review: Although on time, they were very busy and it took 3 weeks to obtain the appointment to do a full re-screen of my lanai. And although there is a 5 year guarantee, I was a bit concerned that they did not individually re-screen the roof sections, but laid the screen across 3 panels. Besides that, the price was not the cheapest that I got quotes from, but they seemed to be the most professional.

Recent Review: The three young men were very friendly and nice. They did not charge me extra for the third floor. In the back I had a deck so they did not need an extension ladder for that. They removed and replaced the screens so that they could wash the the windows.

Recent Review: I ordered a fan from out of state to their local Home depot and they picked it up and installed it. the screen on the door was replaced and pipes were flushed, although that did not fix the problem of brown flex coming out of the pipes. That will need some more work. They communicated every step of the way, and kept me informed and my tenent informed every step of the way.

Recent Review: The technician that came to our home was both friendly and knowledgeable.   He did a fantastic job with the screens and the toilet tank.  The caulking on our tub has never looked better.  I was apprehensive at first having never hired a handyman before but I am so very glad I did.  House Doctors is a great company.

Recent Review: The main project we needed to have done was to take the screening off of our gazebo and build window frames with screening. This would then make it possible to take the frames out in the future when we need to clean or paint. The existing screening was just stapled to the posts and power washing would just tear it down. Unlike the others who provided pricing to do the project, Bob suggested building the frames so that they were added to the inside of the gazebo. They screw in and there is no need to use a ladder from the outside to work with them in the future, something that is important as we get older. He also painted them to match the deck which we had recently stained. (All other vendors were going to build them from the outside of the gazebo.) We had a secondary project which was to replace some posts and split rail fencing that had rotted out. It not only required digging the old posts out, but stapling the coated fence to the posts which is required for pool security with children. We are very happy with the quality of the work that he did and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others, as well as use him for other projects in the future. The pricing shown was for both projects and very competitive with other bids that we received. The fact that Bob provided excellent suggestions for the gazebo work was a determining factor in choosing him.

Recent Review: I had spoken to three other contractors in the area.  Two didn't show up when they said they would, another didn't return my call after my schedule would not permit me to meet with them on a SUNDAY!!!...  Quality Contractors answered on the 2nd ring, and all the magic happened from there.  The owner's of the company, Charley and Bryan, personally handled my project from start to finish!  It was very easy speaking to them about design ideas, about paint colors, finishes, and especially Bryan's ability to read-my-mind when it came to re-designing my kitchen!!!   This company is legitimate, professional, and they stand behind their work!  I asked if I could see a copy of their license, and they already had not only the copy of their license, but insurance also.  I only had one "extra" that was minimal, and I'm glad they caught it!  one of the copper lines for my outdoor shower had a small break in the line under the house--so the only extra was about $52 for material and labor.

Recent Review: I originally contacted The Carpenter's Son to do the interior painting of my daughter's townhouse, as the company was listed under Interior Painting. However, when I met with Dan, I discovered he was a general contractor who has extensive experience in home repair and remodeling. Since I live in another state than my daughter, it was a real blessing to me to find Dan. He was able to do everything I needed done to update/remodel the townhouse and get it on the market to sell in just a few short weeks.. I was really worried about how I was going to get everything done on the house and coordinate it all, not knowing the area and service providers. But Dan and his wonderful crew just stepped in and took that burden right off my shoulders and went to work. Dan is a very well trained contractor with years of experience who is able to do anything you ask of him. When he ran into problems in the remodel, he offered various suggestions on how we could correct the problems and as inexpensively as possible. There were also a few things Dan did at no additional cost to me, which was a big help financially. Dan and his crew were always on time and let me know what their plans were for that day and the next. Dan is an extremely nice man and very easy to work with. He is very knowledgeable in his field and can make various suggestions on ways to tackle getting the job done, from bare bones to higher end fixes. There are not enough words of praise for Dan, The Carpenter's Sons, and his crew. They take great pride in their workmanship and are very easy to work with and a pleasure to have in your home at all times. I give The Carpenter's Sons an A+++++++++++++++++++++++ rating. You will be very pleased with any work you hire them for. I know I was.

It went good. The salesman was very professional. They accidently installed a higher grade screen on one area, other than what we contracted for, but they did not charge us due to their mistake.

We had a contract to power wash our house including gutters for $400, placed screens on windows @ 4 to 5 men estimated hours for for 225, cutting a dead tree for $ 150 and placing curtain rod holders at last minute thing for $75. We went back and forth about putting screens and men hours on email about if they spend less time the owner will adjust $ and vise versa. Finally we agreed and signed an agreement. Work begin and they were punctual. One worker took the screens out of the attic and I helped to transfer it to the garage. He then helped me to place curtain rods on 2 bedroom windows. Before the guy finished putting the curtain rods the foreman came and said he needed him outside for the power wash so he hurried up and screwed up putting the curtain holder about an half an inch away from the window. As the guys were finishing up power washing the back of the house near my pool I saw spider webs and dirt on the window so I told the foreman that they had to be clean to put the screens up otherwise what is the point of washing. So he had to rewash again. Few hours later he came in the house and told me they were going to put the screens up and fortunately I was making lunch for my children using microwave oven so I was able to glance at the clock. About an hour later the foreman said they were finished and everything looked good at that time as I was attending to my 3 children. Then this was a big surprise, I had to write a check only and If I pay with a credit card I had to pay more for credit card service fee. Now keep in mind that we just bought the house and moved back from 8 years of overseas military assignments so we were using a credit card to keep track of our spending. Had I been informed earlier about writing a check would have been no problem. So this week I finally opened our windows and some of the screens came lose. They did not secure those little lock clip things so my husband had to go around and check them. Then few days later I got an email from the owner his foreman forgot to charge for placing screens on the windows and ask me to mail a check to his office. I called him and left him a message that I will pay with a credit card. But I did not get a reply. A week later he sent me another email that he wanted to drop by and pick up a check for $225. I then sent him an email stating that his men only spent an hour on the screens and that I will pay with credit card. I ask him to do the right thing. That was almost 2 weeks ago and have not heard from him. The men kept saying how busy they are and I am thinking do other people roll over and cover their credit card service fees by paying more or just write a check or give cash? $625 is still a lot of money and I thought credit card is more convenient.

I was satisfied with the service. I thought that the price was reasonable. He came out in a timely manner. He said that he was going to do it the next day, and did it.

On all the above tasks he did excellent work, being very careful to complete every one perfectly. During the time Chris was working for us, my husband suffered a serious injury. Chris was a tremendous help to us when this happened. I can't speak too highly of him.
