Recent Review: First and most important, we LEARNED why our electricity has been on the fritz lately! Let me start from the beginning. It was either late 2012 or early 2013, an outlet in our hallway stopped working. So a *different* electrician came and worked on it, but told us he'd need to return later to do some more work. This electrician was provided to us via our AHS warranty company. That electrician never returned my phone call for setting up the additional work, and I gave him a bad review with our warranty company. A month or two ago, we had another issue with an electrical outlet, so I called the warranty company again. After telling them I didn't want the same guy again, it took a while (not many providers in my area), but they found our savior, Electrical Express! He came and fixed the outlet. I wasn't home at the time but when I got home, my husband was singing the praises of Electrical Express. He was truly pleased with the service. Friday, 12/6/13, around 1:30 or 2:30 PM, the power simultaneously went out in THREE rooms in our house! My husband checked the breaker box and no breakers had been tripped. So sometime between 12/9 and 12/11, I called AHS Warranty again and went through the automated service to set up an appointment. It asked me what kind of problem I was having, and I said, "Electrical" and then it immediately assigned the job to the same company, so I was extremely pleased! I really thought I was going to have to press a button to talk to a person to make sure they were sending Electric Express, so I was glad I didn't have to take the extra step. When I received an email from the warranty company, it said the service fee was going to be $0.00, but I just figured that was a mistake, and I'd have to pay my usual service fee. I talked to Electric Express on 12/12 and we set up an appointment for today, 12/16 with a time frame between 9 AM and 11 AM. Not too long after 9 AM, Electric Express arrived and was 150% professional, courteous and knowledgeable the entire time he was here. He fixed absolutely everything AND educated us on WHY we have been having the issues! So now we know how to PREVENT the issues (which means we'll need to do a few things, so we'll work towards getting those things done). With regard to the ceiling light in our bedroom, what we really needed was a new fixture; however, he was able to pinpoint the problem inside the fixture, remove the faulty wired main socket, and make part of the 4-bulb light fixture work (until we either go buy another fixture for him to install, or he returns with a new socket and installs it). Rather than have us go without ceiling light until we got to the store to buy a new fixture, he took the time to find the problem within the fixture and provide us with a partial fix. This gentleman was WONDERFUL!!! I mean, in addition to doing great work, how often can you say you truly enjoyed the company of a stranger who comes into your home to fix stuff??!!! It really felt like the beginnings of a friendship! He came to Front Royal, VA from Chesapeake, VA. For as long as he's willing to come to Front Royal, we will definitely be loyal clients of his. We are ELATED to have found him through our warranty company. My husband and I mean this from the bottom of our hearts: IF YOU NEED ELECTRICAL WORK, YOU NEED TO CALL ELECTRIC EXPRESS FIRST, LAST, AND EVERY TIME!!!!!
