Recent Review: He came out and looked at installing new outlets. I just wanted a quote on this because I rent my home and wanted a price to give my landlord. It was a great experience. When he was here he heard arching noises in our panel. He got the tools out of the truck and took apart our panel to make sure our house was safe before leaving. That says a lot.

Recent Review: Everything went very well.  Ray is extremely conscientious and made multiple visits to test the performance of the tankless water heater and its demand on our system.  He is a good communicator and always comes when he says he will, and he's usually always available on short notice if you need him quickly.

Recent Review: The project started on a good foot, estimate was done very quickly and seemed reasonable. It was started when told it would start and was done within a few days of estimated amount of time.  This was upset by weather and a complication that was discovered while taking the wall down.  Overall, Troy was professional and did a great job!

Reviews in Charlottesville for Installing Outlets

CBB Service Co
It was like pulling teeth to get them to do a simple job of installing some additional outlets in basement on this pre-paid offer. Poor communication. Not customer friendly. They eventually did complete the job satisfactorily, but I would not use them again - too much hassle. Like many other contractors in this area, they make you feel like they are doing you a favor by allowing you to give them your money.

Wayne was prompt, and very thorough.  He diagnosed an issue with our external outlets that also affected our garage freezer.  He was able to correctly diagnose the electrical issue and fix it.  His prices seemed very reasonable considering the time he spent with the issue.

This was a tricky job given how much they had to wire through the ceiling, around ductwork, etc. However that is why I hired a professional. I guess at the end of the day the wiring worked, however later my contractor found that they didn't attach the wiring to the panel correctly and the contractor fixed it. I expected they would have to make holes in drywall, however when doing this they also cut right through the duct for the HVAC. They did not even bother to tell me this happened. Just carelessness. Price seemed reasonable for the job, however this work is expensive and I was disappointed in what I got! They were very quick to respond to set up an appointment and did not have a long wait time to schedule the work.

The two contractors from Mr. Electric did very good work. Their estimate was about $600 lower than an estimate from a major contractor in the area (Robertson Electric). They came on time and finished when they said they would. They were efficient and courteous. Everything works as it should. Minor complaint -- they left  pieces of wire insulation, copper wire scraps, and drywall debris for us to clean up. In general, however, we were very satisfied with their work, and would recommend them to you.

Wonderful! I will hire Vincent again in an instant. Let me tell you, this guy not only knows his stuff, he was very professional, courteous, neat, and very polite. He worked quickly, but was not hurried. He brought with him an assistant who was equally professional. I was so happy with his work that I even had him run a new line from the panel to an old outlet in the living room updating it to a grounded outlet. He wasn't the cheapest estimate we got, but he was fair and sometimes paying a little more for professionalism and a job well done is well worth a few extra bucks in my book. (The actual cost was minimally higher than estimate because I told him to tie in the living room outlet into an existing box. I only found out after that the box was operated by a switch. This was my error and Vincent quickly resolved the issue by running a new wire from the panel to a new box.)
