Recent Review: The service was excellent! Paul was the service technician, and he arrived ready to go to work. I advised that my upstairs toilet seemed to be leaking at time when the toilet was flushed more than once in a certain time frame. The leak was showing on my acoustical ceiling over my kitchen as a stain since about 7/11. We discussed the fact that my kids used more paper than they were supposed to, and it was plunged more than I thought it should be. He noted that the plunger we had in the house was not appropriate for toilets, and was in fact putting a lot of downward pressure which would indeed cause the wax ring to loose its seal. He went to work pulling the toilet, and replaced the old ring with a new, taller was ring that would seal better. He suggested that we get original orange rubber plungers and toss out the old ones. When I noted that the sink upstairs always ran slow, even before the bathroom was remodeled (he may have been washing his hands & noticed how slowly it drained), he pulled the drain plug & set about fixing it. I think he may have pulled out a big clog as well. Now the sink runs beautifully, & I don't have to "clean the sink" after I clean the sink, because the water runs so slowly. My only minus would be the appointment time vs the time Paul arrived, which I realize is in no way his fault, as he has no idea when he walks into a call what type of repair he might run into or how long that repair might take. My appointment was for 2-4pm, so I made sure I was home that Saturday by 2pm; I got a call from Lois at 5:40pm that it would be about 45 minutes before he arrived, which he did, at 6:30pm. I just wish I'd gotten a heads up earlier about the potential time frame; I could have run some more errands in that 4 hours between 2 & 6 on my only day off. Overall, it was a good experience, & now I have a plumber to add to my growing list of vendors to use for home repairs. Angie's list does a great job of giving consumers the top rated people to handle anything you need, that are trustworthy and looking out for the customer. Thank you, Mr Rooter for a job well done!
