Recent Review: The attic work was extended over time due to the complexity of the work involved. The balance of the work was completed promptly and reviewed for accuracy and satisfaction. The attic work ended up requiring some electric rewiring to provide maximum storage, plus he added a grab rail for additional safety in using the stairs. The completed attic literally provides storage, function and safety well beyond our expectation. We are very pleased and plan to use JNR in the future.

Recent Review: They were punctual and professional. Everything went very well. I will use his company in the future for my home improvement needs. The crew took out the old staircase and replaced it with one that makes access to attic easier and safer.

Recent Review: We were trying to sell a townhouse in Roanoke area and had some fixes to do, including replacing the old carpet in the basement. Since we no longer live in town, we had to rely on Jeff to get the whole project moving. From measurement to pickup the carpet, installation, cleanup, etc. Jeff did an excellent job. He cares about the details of the job. The price is very good. The quality is great. Highly recommended!

Recent Review: Nancy was prompt, careful, personable and, most importantly, professional. Very reasonable rates. Cleaned up the work area (which included stairs to the second floor) far more neatly than it was when she started work. I'd definitely recommend her to others, and plan to use her again.

Recent Review: Very fast and professional. Very nice people. Helpful and let me know when they were coming back when they went to Lowes to get the items needed . I will use them again. I need to go get paint and have them do a small place on my porch. Its so nice to get someone that you feel comfortable with.

Deck wasn't attached to the foundation correctly, boards had not been selected w/care, cupping of deck boards were not faced down. Kitchen & bathroom flooring installed poorly, no care taken. Kitchen counters cut short, cabinets hung wrong. Kitchen sink gasket installed on wrong side of sink. Bathroom shower tile came loose, didn't complete the job.Toilet installed leaked.  Shoe trim installed incorrectly, mdf board used in bathroom which swelled getting wet from toilet leaking. Inside window trim used mdf boards, hoping they don't get wet and swell. Stairs to basement had to be corrected, steps came out farther then original stairs so you hit your head on ceiling.

Brad arrived when he said he would and performed the work in a timely manner. His prices were reasonable and I was very satisfied.

Having recently dealt with other service providers on a different issue, it was a breath of fresh air to work with Travis. He was very prompt in coming out to give an estimate and showed up exactly on time for the work itself. The work was well done and quickly completed. Working with him was an assistant, Kenny, who also did a great job. We will certainly be using him in the future for other jobs. We highly recommend him and hope other Angie's List users give him a try.

Chris came out to the property on or about the 22nd of March.  After that I never heard back from him.  So, I sent an email through his website on  4-11-12 advising I never heard back from him and asked whether or not he was interested in the work.   (see below)  I received an email back stating "Sent last week. Let me know if you can't find in inbox or spam folder."  I sent an email to him again and said I had not received anything, and also said I dont get much spam because I have a Cox account. He sent another email saying "Please give me a call when you can. I'll give the information over the phone. I was wondering why you did not respond to my email. Now I know. You never received them."  I responded with another email asking for him to send me another copy via email. I advised him I have an illness and would need to see it on paper and not by phone because I would not remember things accurately. After that I cannot tell you what happened. I can only show the succession of emails as follows. I did not see these until the 13th when I went online to check email again to see if the estimate was sent to me per my request. This is what I found.   email response 1; "Here" email response 2; "Sorry about that last email. Please give me a call at 5403148539" email response 3; "Mr. Buesing. Please call me when you can. 540-314-8539 Thank you, email response 4; "Give me a call when you can. Christopher 540-314-8539" Please note, I did try to call him and his voice mailbox was full. I sent him another email and told him it was full so I could not leave any information. I received another email the next day. "Can you send me you phone number? I'll call you". This didn't make any sense because my email shows he received my name and information through his website. It recorded it and it says " wrote: ">advanceyourlisting@live.com> wrote:  a form has been submitted on April 11, 2012, via: http://aaahandymanservice.com/contact-us/ [my IP addess]  Your default form> Your Name    Moke Buesing > Email    Phone    540-xxx-xxxx > Message    Chris, I have not heard back from you regarding a quote for the Grayson Ave home. Were you interested in the work? Thank You > powered by cformsII  (I removed my personal information so the world does not have my phone number) He was a nice guy but I don't have a clue why business has to happen like this above. Could he not have sent the estimate via old fashion USPS? As of 4-14-12 1430 hrs I have not heard from him.
