I think I should’ve been given the choice if I wanted that product, or if I wanted something different. They workers were professional, and they worked as long as they could to finish the job. Recent Review: I was searching for a cheaper alternative to home security monitoring. My family and I are on a tight budget, and we could not afford the steep charges from Suddenlink and other local home security providers for their systems. The two things causing the services to be so expensive were: (a) the cost of the monthly phone service we would need, since we don't have home phone service, and (b) the cost of the monitoring itself. We would had to pay about $80 a month, or more with these traditional companies! Thankfully I found NextAlarm after some careful googling. They are a fraction of the price of any of their competitors. Their system appeals to me, because it uses the internet rather than a phone line, saving lots of money. Their monitoring itself (done in the traditional way, with real people in a dispatch office) is also substantially cheaper on top of that. I paid $250 for the home security kit and now I only pay $13.50 per month for the monitoring! Its so cheap that the costs are literally offset entirely by the savings to my homeowner's insurance premium. The support staff at NextAlarm are great. They are so patient, and they will help you with anything related to your system. I have called them numerous times with little questions about this or that, and they are always super nice and knowledgable. They even walk you through how to make changes to your security system, step-by-step, when you want to change delay or change the programs. Please make note of the fact that they do not have a local installer to do the installation. The third-party vendor who offers an and quot;Instal cardand quot; will not be able to install your service in East Texas (they will refund your money once they see where you need the installation). Point being, you will need to hire a local handyman to install the home security system for you. As I already mentioned, I used Stephan du Toit -- ( He charged my $60. Besides that little hiccup, NextAlarm is amazing. In summary, I love my service. I hope more people in my area sign up with them. It is such a great deal and they're so great!
Recent Review: Everything went great. I got the system a few days later and started to install it. All the devices were easy to put up all told it took about 45 minutes to get up and running. During the install I set the alarm off and Getsafe called me right away. I like the way it looks in my home and by that I mean I hardly notice it is there. I like being able to control the system from my phone and being able to check on my house with the camera when I am away.
Recent Review: It started with the name Pinnacle. It started going downhill maybe when somebody else bought it. My husband picked them. He had a cold call and then he went with it. I think we had another system at that time.

The initial call and estimate went well, and then it was all down hill. After paying 75% down, it was over 4 weeks later before any work was done even though the work was suppose to be completed the same week. Follow up service calls have proven to be expensive and difficult to schedule. The work has not been completed as per the initial estimate and I am still waiting.

When we purchased our home we signed up with Fleenor Security. After several months, we figured out that we really did not have a need for their service. We called and asked to cancel our service and were told that we could not terminate our contract before the five year term. It had no early termination clause. My mistake for not reading it carefully before signing it! In the four years since we signed with Fleenor, we have never once turned on our security system, and we have asked repeatedly if they would consider letting us out of our agreement early. The answer has been and quot;noand quot; every time. This company has been absolutely unprofessional and unreasonable in its behavior. Yes, we did not read all of the fine print, and it has cost us over a $1000. These people have made some money on us, but they have not done right by us.

They are not good. The sales guy just dropped in and talked to my husband. We settled on the upgraded system where we can do the home security from a smart phone. We got it so I could let the cleaning person in without having to give them a key. We are having a problem getting a signal for the upgraded system. They had to come back and they have sent 3 technicians and each one told us something different. The system is still not working properly and it has been 3 months. The alarm goes off when it loses the signal. They told us that the signal is not strong enough in some areas but they never told us that to begin with. They are going to have to run an antenna outside our home. We are unable to use it. I told the last guy that I want the president of the local area to call and they never called. I am getting ready to jerk it out of the wall. They were never on time.

I am very upset with them. I feel they overcharged us for a service that has been inactive for a year which should have been connected by them in the first place. I am happy with the actual alarm system and service, but I am unhappy with certain portions of their billing system. If I hadn't paid them for a year in advance I probably would look for another company.

Installers arrived early on Monday and worked installing the wiring and all of the devices necessary for the system.  The workers were professional and worked steadily to complete the job.  After installation was completed they tested the system to make sure it worked properly and then explained how everything worked.  We were very impressed with the company which is local to us and were referred to them by a family member who has a security system in their home.  I would recommend this company to anyone who would like to have a system installed.

I had lightening struck here that took out everything, all the security cameras and whole security system. Then I called them on an insurance thing. I wouldn’t recommend them anymore. They were absolutely horrible. I had another contractor here who had also the same horrible experience with them. Everything that they had put in has failed at least once since then. They were sloppy in their workmanship. I wouldn’t hire them to do anything again. They were arrogant, rude. They billed up everything to my insurance company and it was almost six months for the job to be finished. I have also heard from other people that they haven’t finished most of the works. I had another company come out and look at their work. They just shook their head and told me that Night Owl Security people really didn’t know anything what they were doing. They were recommended to me by electronic company. I went back to the electronic company and told them not to recommend these people to anyone else as it would effect even their reputation. They just turned the opposite as what electronic company had told us about them. I couldn’t get them over the phone, they couldn’t do anything, they were slow in getting stuff and they couldn’t get anything organized. Just anything that could go wrong went wrong.

Arrived promptly when they said they would to install our new security system. Techs were professional and courteous. They installed two door monitors and gave us the option to use double sided tape or to have them drilled in, as some people prefer the tape. Installed the motion detector and tested it thoroughly to make sure it would not go off because of our pets and that it would detect at various points of the living room. Offered to install a smoke detector for an additional charge per month, which I accepted. Thoroughly tested the system to make sure everything was working properly, explained how the system worked and made sure both members of the household had armed and disarmed the alarm before they left so we knew how to use it. The motion detector gave a little bit of trouble as it was learning the room, but they called support and stayed until they were able to test it completely. Allows you to choose the day of the month you would like your account to be charged, I opted not to and was charged a month after it was installed.  I have just completed my first month of service, at first there was a silent alarm that went off when the system was inactive for a certain period of time. They called at 2 a.m. the first night and again at about 9 a.m. However, they were able to quickly tell me which setting was prompting the alarm and how to change it. I am very pleased with my service so far, I have had no alarms yet but it makes me feel safe.
