Recent Review: This is a great, conscientious company that does quality work. They poured our driveway and also removed and replaced our old sidewalk. There were a couple of hiccups along the way but they persevered through them to start and finish on time. The sidewalk had a few issues that had to be resolved and were resolved. I think that working until 10:00 at night in order to start pouring first thing in the morning was a contributing factor. Very dedicated team! They're crew was absolutely great. They were professionals that knew what each person needed to do and they worked together as a very efficient team. They were also very friendly and helpful. Bryan and Mike were efficient contractors. They scheduled trucks and crews so there was no interruption in the workflow. They also communicated very well and they followed through in a timely manner every time. They'll actually answer their phones and emails! A job well done, thank you Bryan and Mike!

Recent Review: The driveway was replaced on the scheduled date.  The job looked good but I have little experience with asphalt driveways.  There is a steep hill behind the end of our driveway so they were supposed to put in a curb to prevent cars going too far and going over the edge.  He also told me that I would put need some sort of retaining wall (extra cost which I was not informed about up front) to help reinforce the asphalt from failing over time.  They said they would come back in the near future to put the curb in. About a week after the installation a truck was backing into our driveway and "dug" a hole in the driveway because the asphalt was still soft.  I called to have it fixed (which they did for no charge) but they never told me that trucks could not drive on the driveway for a few months,  If I had known I could have avoided the whole situation.  Now I have 3' x 4' patch in my new driveway.   About a week after the installation I noticed water in my garage that was coming from the rain.  The asphalt was sloped to toward the the a house.  I called them to come and readjust the slope in front of the garage.  About 2 months later after repeated calls they came out and put in a 2 inch curb.  This was a trip hazard.  I called and complained again and again.  Finally in October they level out the bump in front of the garage, not great but better.  At that time they finally put the curb in place and also fixed "mushroom" that was formed by the tree roots. This was a big job and I know that the everything cannot always be perfect.  My biggest problem it was practically impossible to get them to come and fix their mistakes.  And there fixes were not of the same quality as the work that was originally performed.   I think 5 months (and dozens of phone calls) is a long time to wait to have a few minor problems fixed.  I do appreciate the fact the fixed the damage from the truck at no charge.

Recent Review: Controlled Air came to the house and determined we had a cracked sewer pipe. I was told that he could not do the yard work, but that he could do the concrete work on the driveway and walk way. I discussed with him where the concrete on the driveway needed to be replaced. That it needed to be to a joint on the section he was replacing. I was assured that would not be a problem. I had to leave town. He said he would make sure my 83 year old mother (her home) was happy with the work and that he would email me a video/photo's of the job. No photo's or video sent. When I returned to TN, I saw that he did not finish the driveway as promised. My mother complained and they tried to tidy up, but did little. I called Controlled Air and complained, Dan O'Leary came out when he knew I was not there and looked at it. I asked that Mom be reimbursed for the driveway work and was denied. I had to replace Mom's driveway and will never recommend this company. Took advantage of my elderly mother.

Outstanding service. Sidewalk that had noticeably sunk two inches was raised to the original position. Fully insured, locally owed  as part of national franchise network. Crew was very polite and professional; there was no mess to clean up after they departed.

All the work was done professionally and the result was fantastic. Once started the work was continuous except when rain held up work for several days. From the finished result it is obvious TIm takes great pride in his work. and makes sure you're satisfied before completion. At first blush one may feel the cost is high, but with the quality of product he uses and the professionalism in which the work is performed, it is well worth it and I feel a value.

AWhite Construction
I had called several people for estimates (only one of which actually showed up and then did not ever respond to calls over a two week period) so I was very happy when a neighbor recommended Mr. Tony White and, after talking to him, felt comfortable to have him proceed with the job.  I would recommend his company.
