Recent Review: Installer did a terrific  job. We had a few issues over the years such as a broken crank on a bay window, broken seal on 2 windows and most recently (April 2015) mold growing inside a small window. On all occasions they either sent someone out to look at and fix the problem, or just recently when we called about the mold between the window panes, they just ordered a new window and the installer replaced the window in less then 2 weeks.  Window World Customer Service sis unsurpassed. I highly recommend them.

Recent Review: Mike was very upfront about how he runs his business, and our experience lived up to his standards. A month after ordering the windows, they arrived and It took them 2 days to change them out. They cleaned their messes and rehung blinds and shades and curtains.

Recent Review: Installers began the install on March 27 for what was to be a 2 day job.  Day 1 was to complete the interior and day 2 the exterior.  Did not get completed with interior on day 1 since they didn't arrive till after 10:30 a.m., took over 2 hours for lunch before returning and leaving at 5:00.  I had only taken 1 day off from work since the interior was to be completed but since it was not, I had to take an additional day off for them to complete the interior.  Day 2, I was told they would be there at 9:00 a.m., it was 2:00 p.m. before they showed...they did however work on Good Friday to complete the interior.  Were to come back on Monday, 4-1, to complete the exterior.  It was Wednesday before they showed finally completing the work on Friday, April 5th.  On Wednesday, April 3rd, I asked about putting the shutters back.  I was then informed that it would be an additional cost for them to re-install them.  I had purchased the hardware needed to place the shutters back and the installers have gotten 3 sets out of the 4 re-installed.  The 4th set, the installers misplaced one hardware pack and were to get another and come back by Monday, April 8th to complete.  The last set of shutters are still not installed as of April 15, and I have not heard from the owner/seller with the exception of an email on April 10. On April 4th, owner/seller requested through the installers that i meet him on Friday, April 5th to obtain final payment. It was not convienent for me to meet with him on Friday so I agreed to send payment (not all) through the installer back to the owner/seller so that the installers could be paid.   Owner/seller was to come out April 4th, to look over the work, then it bacame April 5th, then April 8th, then April 10th.  As of today, April 15th, there has been no owner/seller show up for the final walk thru of the windows to show the areas of disappointment with the craftsmanship of the framing of the bay and garden window.  The amount of debris that was left on the interior as well as the exterior was astonishing.  One of the reason I picked this contractor cause of his seemingly honest work ethic and the guarantee that I would be 100% satisfied or they would make it right.  It still hasn't been made right!!!  On the ratings above:       The price of the windows was the middle of the 4 quotes I received, they were not the highest nor the lowest.     The quality of the windows would definately be an A, however the quality of the install is what I based my rating on     The responsiveness is rated for number of times the final walk thru has been reset to complete and has yet to be done     The punctuality.....speaks for itself as mentioned above. I emailed the owner/seller on April 15 to check on getting the last set of shutters installed, my warranty and reminaing stickers for the bay window.  His reply was that they would be completed either on the 15th evening or sometime on the 16th.  Today is April 22 and still no warranty, no further information on the window compliance nor are the shutters installed.

Recent Review: A representative came to our home and did an estimate. The windows had to be specially ordered because they are odd sizes. We waited approximately two weeks for the windows to be manufactured. The workers arrived in a timely manner, were very professional and courteous and completed the job in about eight hours. They did a good job of cleaning up afterward.

Excellent work and quality. Came out and did all the measurements and worked with me to get me the best solution for the old bay window. My house is over 100 years old and so they did everything to make sure that the original wood was not hurt and fixed the siding on the outside of the house from where it jutted out from the bay window support. Everything looks seamless. I'm very happy with the entire process.

The guys in the store were helpful, answered questions, set up an appt. for an in-home estimate. No show. Approximately 6 hours after the appt., the salesman called to explain that there was a miscommunication about the appt. We weren't home so he had to leave a voice mail. We decided to give him another chance. He explained that someone else had recently left the company, leaving him to cover a second area in addition to his own. The company had not notified him of our appt. We set a new appt. Ten minutes before he was due, he called to say he was running late. Over an hour later he shows up. I can blame 15 minutes of this on MapQuest. We did not tell him at this point that we had already talked to another company. He was nice enough at first. A lot of chit chat, too much. The window he brought in to show us was the Home Depot brand window. Not anything we had seen in the store. He said this was exclusively for Home Depot customers who schedule an in-home estimate. You will not see these windows in the store display nor will you fine any written information on them at the store. According to him, these are better quality than anything else we're gonna find. When he got into the sales pitch, he found it necessary to trash his competitors, naming company names and brands. When I asked about just ripping out the window frame to the studs and using new windows for replacements, he got somewhat perturbed. He acted as if I was trying to take money directly from his pocket. He did not bother to explain why my idea wouldn't work well. He finally got to working up a total for the windows and installation. He also calculated the deposit amount so we could make out a check. When we told him we were not intending to make our final decision right then, he got down-right rude. We also mentioned that it was a lot of money to be making quick decisions about. He said that he had thought we wanted a quality window so that was what he brought in to show us. He had other displayers in his truck (the brands you find in the store) but that he had thought we wanted better quality. His attitude was as if we had intentionally wasted a lot of his time. We had previously discussed with him getting an estimate for replacing the doors also. He asked how much time to give us before calling with our door estimate and to get our decision on the windows. We told him a week. We have not heard from him since. Summary: 1) miscommunication between store and salesman does not bode well for a contract job 2) he was late for second appt. 3) he talked trash about his competitors, by name 4) he got rude when we wouldn't sign up right then - if he has a quality product at a good price he shouldn't be worried if we talk to another company 5) he never called back with door estimate 6) it felt like a bait-and-switch scheme when he showed us H.D. windows that you can't see in the store I will continue to shop at Home Depot but I'm not interested in talking to them about installation work again.

Everything went great!  Installer showed up on time.  He removed the old windows and installed new ones.  The work was done with care and the quality of the replacement windows are very good.  Installer was polite, friendly and was happy to answer all questions.  I have been very happy with my windows, the communication between us, and the business side of it as well!  I plan to have them install windows through out my entire home and siding in the future.
