Recent Review: King's Remodeling was recommended to us via the Erie Insurance Contractor's Connection. After a slow start, the project came off without too much difficulty. The project started initially around the middle of January 2018, and then due to some personnel issues, it had to restart again in early February. We communicated with Mr. King, that we had an inflexible deadline of Mid-March due to a party we scheduled for St. Patrick's Day, and they worked hard to get it done, even having some of the work done on weekends. The pack-in happened on Monday, 3/12, with some final touch up work finishing on 3/13/18. Instead of just restoring the damaged areas back to original, we decided to do the upgrades we always wanted to do. We worked with them to create a separate craft room/office for my wife, complete with new tile flooring and a drop ceiling, the same tile was also installed in the laundry room, completely gutted and upgraded the powder room with a new vanity, a new toilet and all new lighting and matching fixtures. In the family room, we replaced the destroyed carpet flooring over 1970's era linoleum tiles, with radiant heating installed under new engineered-hardwood floors, and we also replaced carpeted stairs from the lower level to the main level with hardwood stairs that matched hardwood installed in the main level. Their team performed the pack-out at the beginning of the project, as well as the clean-up and pack-in at the end of the project. They handled all of our furniture and collectibles with great care. The main day to day contact for us, Pete, was on site every day by about 7 AM. He did an awesome job with the laundry room, new office, new bathroom, and the finishing touches in the family room, and was always willing to chat for a status update or to answer questions before we headed out to work every morning. We are very happy with the finished product and would highly recommend using King Remodeling and Restoration, Inc. for any remodeling job.

Recent Review: I had the company remove the bathtub and replaced it with a walk-in shower. Completely tiled shower and bathroom floor, replace toilet and vanity. Replaced door with a pocket door and had a medicine cabinet built into the wall. Painted bathroom and bedroom wall where the work was done. Great job by the entire crew, cleaned up every day and finished the job a day early. We are very happy.

Recent Review: MW was a pleasure to work with, Greg and his team are well organized, professional and perform high quality work in a timely manor. Our project centered around the construction of a new staircase in our bedroom to gain access to a previously unused lofted space. Greg designed the solution, went over it with us, had us work with his designer for choices in tile, materials, paint, etc. MW was true to the budget agreed upon, great with updates and answering questions throughout the project and always professional. Our project manager, Matt, walked us through the site weekly for updates, and his team was always on time in the mornings and great to have in the house. Greg and Matt managed the project from end to end, coordinating demo, dry wall, framing, painting, plumbing, electrical and finish (and custom) woodwork for our closet. We had some interesting/difficult finish woodwork ideas and Greg and Matt rose to the challenge at every curve-ball we threw at them. I would highly recommend MW and I will be using them again for our future projects.

Recent Review: Dale was very professional. He works by himself mostly. He worked 6 days a week about 8 hours a day for 3 weeks on our 3x7 foot bathroom. He gutted it entirely and replaced the toilet, sink, pipes, new bathtub and extensive tiling. He allowed us to use our own materials for most of the project. Every day he cleaned the house thoroughly before he left and it looked like he had never been there. We trusted him enough to give him a house key so he could come and go if we were not home. He has very good attention to detail and the finished bathroom looks great. We would use him in the future for bathroom remodeling.

Recent Review: Everyone; from the salesman that initially came in and explained the services offered, to the installer that completed the work; were completely professional. They efficiently removed the old shower and extended the original space to twice the size by removing a dead space wall. All of the wood and insulation was replaced and the plumbing updated. The final product is elegant and spacious. The installer in particular took great care to make sure that every evening after working that the space was cleared of clutter. When the shower was finished, he made sure to clean the space and returned everything to where it was before he came in. Everyday he would update us on how the install was progressing and when he would expect to be complete. Our new shower is everything we were promised and more. The extended size of the shower and the hanging glass doors gives the entire room an completely new feel and openness that was previously missing. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to update/replace their current bathroom/shower.

Recent Review: We recently remodeled our master bathroom and after extensive research we selected Remodel USA. We initially met with Martin Rabone who spent several hours showing us the various options available and assisting us in making preliminary selections. We were directed to various distributors who work with Remodel USA to make tile, granite and fixture selections. We found all of them to be extremely helpful. All parts of the project were carefully worked through with no work beginning until all the materials were available. We were told the project would take 2 weeks from start to finish and were pleasantly pleased that they finished a day early. Our production manager, Percy Melendez, assisted in final choices of materials prior to ordering and insured that we had the correct items and was meticulous in overseeing the two workers, appearing frequently and phoning often to be sure we were happy with everything. Two people were assigned to do the entire instillation except for the frame less shower glass. This meant that there was no waiting for various people who might be delayed by other jobs and the two knew how to do the tile work, electrical work, and plumbing. Both workers were extremely attentive to making sure that our carpets and furnishings were protected and provided advice about placement of grab bars and the showers. They approached us to make final placement decisions before instillation and did everything possible to make certain we would have the master bathroom we envisioned. The frame less shower surround was also expertly installed. All workers cleaned up the area daily and left no construction or other trash behind. Overall, we were exceptionally pleased with our entire experience and highly recommend Remodel USA. We will definitely consider them for future home projects as they do additions, windows, and other things.

Recent Review: We recently had our kitchen remodeled by Diy Kitchens and it exceeded our expectations. Frank and James were great and kept us updated all through the project. James was the Project Coordinator for our remodel and he was great and was very accommodating and made the remodel go very smooth. Both myself and my wife are very please with the results. We would definitely recommend this company for kitchen remodeling.

Well when they received the first check they went straight to work. I have not seen that yet on any job I have ever had done. The work was wonderful. I have never seen a company so on the ball. They were always there when I had a question and always responded to my concerns. I am very pleased with Ross and his crew.

Darrell came out to see what work was to be done, then workers came out to demo and install plumbing and flooring. Other workers installed the crown molding trim, and beam. Painter did the powered room, bathroom and bedroom.

ABull Run Kitchen & Bath
My wife and I purchased a home in Jeffersonton, VA. We decided to remodel the kitchen. We met with a few contractors and then met with Matt at Bull Run. He was very professional and provided great guidance through the project. The initiail reason we chose them was due to the fact that every other contractor was booked through October. Matt said Bull Run could complete the job by the end of July, months ahead of the others. We were glad we chose Bull Run! Everyone we dealt with was comletely professional and a pleasure to work with. Edgar, the main sub who was at our home on a daily basis was almost a member of the family by the time the job was done. And as mentioned, Matt was really great but due to some outside issues had to turn the project over to Salih. He was also a fantastic partner and acted as our advocate through the completion of the project. We never doubted that he had our best interest in mind and that showed up even more when we had some issues with our new gas range at the end. He worked things out to help us remediate the problem and was a true professional about it. I would recommend Bull Run Kitchen & Bath to anyone.

ADIY Kitchens & Baths LLC
I've enjoyed having the team from DIY Kitchens and Baths into our home. Prior to these guys we've had some less than great experiences with a variety of contractors--the classic disappearing act and general lack of communication, missed appointments, hidden upcharges, etc etc. thankfully this was not the case with DIY. We had a truly wonderful experience with DIY Kitchens! When I called DIY to come out for a quote, they really understood our vision and parameters and made us feel completely comfortable with the project. Having bad experiences with contractors before and being older people, we did have some reservations about being upcharged or taken advantage of. DIY Kitchens and Baths completely quelled any hesitations we had. They were completely on board to do my remodeling on a budget. The best part about my experience with DIY is that we not only stayed on budget, but our kitchen looks like a chef kitchen. Frank the manager, was truly a rockstar. We were not staying at our house for the duration of the work, but Frank constantly stayed in contact and was always honest about what was going on with the work, timeline, etc. Almost every job naturally has a few hiccups, but Frank always had options to work around them and to make sure that we were 100% happy with the results. He was always available by text or call whenever I had questions, and he was extremely patient with my endless questions. For a quick example of how nice Frank is, we had a very small amount of 2 walls that needed to be painted. Twice the paint store gave me the wrong color, which Frank realized when it went up on the wall. I didn't think I'd have time to figure out what the issue was (whether I gave the paint store the wrong color, if they mixed it wrong, etc), so I told Frank not to worry about it, and I could paint it on my own later on. When all the work was just about done, Frank called me and said he just couldn't leave the paint like that because he wanted to make sure they took care of every last detail. They did repaint the walls the correct color, which was a minor thing but really shows how diligent and great Frank is. Tony also did incredible work. There are so many little things that don't jump out at you right away, but when you do notice them, it's truly a testament to how diligent these guys are. For example, I was really impressed that they tiled pretty far up behind my corner cabinets, that probably nobody would even notice unless you purposely looked up under there. It really goes to show that they don't cut any corners. From a coordination standpoint, Pasha was always available to answer my questions and was extremely helpful in giving me information just about anything. I really appreciated that guidance. Overall, I would highly recommend DIY Kitchens and Baths for any remodeling projects. I am beyond thrilled with the result, and can't thank them enough for all of their hard work!

ATroy-Bilt Construction
We had Troy-Bilt do a complete gut and remodel of our master bathroom. This was extensive work that included tearing out the old shower and corner tub, reframing/moving the wall the old shower was in to create a linen closet, replace two vanities, create a large corner master shower, move plumbing for one vanity and shower, replace the toilet, install new medicine cabinets, and replace all lights and fixtures. Also, we removed the bath door and Troy-Bilt hung a sliding barn door. We purchased all the material, except for miscellaneous items, and Troy-Bilt worked with us to create the design and layout of the new bathroom. It all turned out excellent. We are very pleased. Price below includes only labor and miscellaneous material - the bulk of material was provided/purchased by us directly. Also, the price includes work and some extra material for the shower (tile work, some additional granite pieces to match vanity tops, and glass shower walls).

AMr. Handyman of the Fredericksburg Region
My husband and I are very pleased with our experience with Mr. Handyman. Our technician Chris was very professional and knowledgeable about all aspects of our bathroom remodel. Even though there were unforseen issues with the plumbing hidden behind our wall, Chris brought the issue to our attention and explained what needed to be done to properly fix it. He was very forthcoming about the issue which would have turned in to a much bigger problem in the future if it were not addressed now and ultimately ended up saving us a lot of money in the long run. He also helped us make the final design choices and we absolutely love his choices. With so many finishes to choose from the whole project quickly began to seem very overwhelming but Chris was able to give us exactly what we were looking for. We love our new bathroom and will definitely use Mr. Handyman again for any future remodeling.

AS&K Remodeling
S&K did an excellent job. Remodeled kitchen and powder room, replaced windows (including matching stain), replaced two exterior doors. Quality of work was great and they left my house in clean condition when they were done. As issues were identified, they provided good communications and successfully resolved all challenges, without any increases in price. I will definitely use them again.
