Recent Review: This was a storm door installation on the front of our home.  We had moved into this home 2 years ago and are slowly but surely trying to bring this neglected home up to date.  This front door area was very poorly installed by the previous owners who did not use professionals and it showed.  Dave was able to correct some issues and installed our new door.  The door looks beautiful and we feel that it truly improves the curb appeal as well as the versatility of having this Larson Trade Winds so that you are secured but can have ventilation at any time. If I wasn't happy enough with our new door I think our dog would have gone with Dave in a heart beat so how can you beat a recommendation like that? Job well done.

Recent Review: Everything went wonderfully. 100% honesty here. I was a little frustrated in the beginning because it felt like jumping thru hoops just to get someone to come out and provide an estimate. However, with that said, I'm very glad we stuck with this company. The owner himself is the one that comes out and does the estimate. I'm not new to the construction industry, so I knew what needed to be done (being pregnant I didn't want to do it myself). The owner was extremely knowledgable and professional. We had, had two other companies come out to look at the same project and Mr. Handyman was by far the most qualified. He knew exactly what he was talking about, which was refreshing to hear. He was honest about the process and cost, he didn't seem to want to take us for all of our money, but wanted to do a quality job. The job took two days. The gentleman that came out was very professional and patient with my annoying barking dogs (thank you. I know they were annoying!) The storm door project was completed same day, and the French doors took a day and a half, but it all looks amazing. A very professional and competent company. They have reasonable prices. I would and will be hiring them again for other projects along with recommending them to anyone and everyone that needs a handyman. Pictures are attached. The only thing left to do is paint the French doors and the walls where the spackle is... Honestly, I'll probably hire them again to do that too!

Recent Review: They did the cleaning, but had to come return because they did not clean thoroughly. I called them and they returned the same day to remedy the situation. He fixed the front storm door and it closed better, but still has to be lifted a little bit in order for it to latch. So I still I am not completely satisfied with the work, but don't want to call them back for another day. The owners are very cordial and kind. They really try to please their customers.

Recent Review: Beautiful repair work.  Very clean work.  Since it required spackling and sandling I was pleased with how clean and dust free the job was.  Very professional to work with.

ALOWES
I have used them for lots of projects. One earlier project was to have a kitchen backsplash installed. They got the job done that I expected them to do. I am very satisfied with what they do and will go back to them again. I could probably get the work done cheaper, but this company is reliable and that makes up the difference.

Dave Shepard was the installer and he provided excellent service.   He realized that the door ordered was not the right color to match the front of our home, discussed it with us and then contacted Lowes to have the correct door ordered.   He then did the installation and did a thorough job.

well the products was great. The servicemen did a bad job, they left cracks in the floor at the entry of my front and back door. The back was much larger than the front. The paneling around the back door wasn't secured properly. The front door bottom knob was broken. This was my second time purchasing products and I was very disappointed with the service with the contractors.

BLOWE'S
The hardest part of this task was communicating with the Lowe's store itself. They would call us asking for some information, then we would return the call and be unable to reach anyone who knew about our order. When we went to the store, information was not forthcoming. We would receive a call that said if we did not respond right away the order would be cancelled, then we would call back (after going through a totally clueless switchboard system) and be told that nobody knew of any reason for trouble. AFTER the doors arrived, though, everything went wonderfully. Our installer was knowledgeable, professional, and worked quickly and capably. Installation took two days, but we had expected that. The doors look good and perform as advertised. Our installer even ran into us at the store and made sure we were satisfied, which we were--completely. I've checked the box that we would use this firm again, but I need to qualify that. We have some other projects in the future, and our only hesitation is about the communication after the initial sale and before the actual work on site. I would hate to see everything founder because the operator can't figure out who we need to talk to, but it may come to that.

DCasual Glenn's Handyman Services
Humourously. He was close to an hour and a half late to the initial appointment. I'm not a noob when it comes to home improvement, I've been involved in the industry for years, so I know what is supposed to happen when someone decides they want to add something to their house. This guy came in, and no joke, just measured the opening of the doorways and left. That's it. No real consultation. I knew the entryway for the French doors would need to be framed in, he didn't say anything about that, didn't measure anything for that. Just measured the opening and left. It was clear he didn't know what he was doing. We get the estimate back and the estimate was around $300.... The cost of the doors alone was over $300. Now I'm all about a good price, but this price is not a good price. This is a "I have no idea what I'm doing and you're going to end up with a sham of a job" price. So for him to be over an hour late to the appointment, not knowing what he was doing... The name of the business fits well. "Casual" indeed.
