Recent Review: Travis was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable when he came to give me an estimate on ceiling and crown molding repair work. He told me the ceiling work was more than he felt comfortable taking on, and I appreciated his honesty. He made a phone call to try and find someone who could possibly do the work instead. Travis re-arranged his work schedule to get to my other repair project the next day which was to repair cracks where the crown molding was pulling away from the ceiling. He arrived on time, was neat and cleaned up well.  The work looked great and I am pleased with the results.

Recent Review: When I first meet Haskel Colgrove, I thought I was having a flashback to the 1970's.  His long white curly hair was tied back in a pony tail and he had a warm smile and friendly personallity.  He had come to install the cabinets I ordered from Lowes.  I had told the salesman at Lowes that I wanted under cabinet lighting added to the cabinets when they were installed and he had told me to discuss it with the installer and the installer could make those arrangements with me at the time of insiallation. Haskel went with me to Lowes to pick out the proper type of lighting.  He gave me the pros and cons of the available choices, anwered all my questions, gave me an estimate of the cost, then helped me collect everything and carried it to my jeep.  He showed up every day on time or a few minutes early, worked steadily throughout the day without taking long breaks and stayed as long as it took to finish the job.  When he finished the work I originally contracted from Lowes, I asked him if he could do some additional work in my primary kitchen and he agreed to take a look and let me know what he could do.  During the 15 years I have lived in this house, I have asked at least half a dozen carpenters if the cabinet above my range could be modified or removed so that a microwave oven could be installed above the range.  Without exception, they had all said they could not, or would not, do it.  The reasons given included: there was no way to remove or modify the cabinet without destroying it, or the job was too tedious, or it just couldn't be done!  Haskel took one look at it and said, "Sure, I can do that but I'll have to do it on my own time, when I'm not doing a job for Lowes." I also asked him about several things I wanted done and agreed to pay him $200.00 per 8 hour work day.  Although this work was not for Lowes, he still went to Lowes for all of the lumber and supplies.  He often worked well over 8 hours a day but would never take more than the agreed upon $200.00 per day. He either showed up when he said he would be here, or called to tell me he would be a little late and when I could expect him to arrive.  He gave 100% time and effort for every hour he worked and took as much care as if he had been doing the work for his own home.  If I ever need any additional work done around my home, I will definitely call him to do the work.

Recent Review: We have used Nancy's Do List several times and have always been very pleased with her work. She is responsive and punctual. She always completes every project and has never been MIA! She is trustworthy and responsible and will always call if there is a schedule change. Her company name is indicative of what services she offers. Nancy's Do List will complete all those projects that you just don't have the time to get to. I am confident that she can tackle most any home project from remodeling to small odd jobs. Don't let the fact that she is a woman cloud your opinion. She works harder, cleaner and more efficiently than any man that I have ever hired.

Recent Review: There were a lot of hurdles due to the original builders. Mike and lou moved all of the plumbing. That involved moving the pressure tank and water heater. They had to cut up the concrete floor to move drains for tub, shower, toilet and vanity. They had to reframe the entire area 1500sf., then rewired all new circuits. They insulated the walls and installed moisture and vapor barrier. Then installed drywall with trayed ceilings with rope lights concealed behind crown molding. They installed an engineered bamboo flooring. The bathroom is beautiful. My shower stall has pebble tiled floor with custom porcelain tile walls, with an accent strip of stones. They put in two shower niches with three shower heads and two shower valves. with all brushed nickel hardware. they installed a frameless frosted glass shower door. They did excellent work as always. this is my fourth major project by Mike, and I will use them to build my next project which will be a garage!

Recent Review: Though everything appears nice and neat to the untrained eye, we had a lot of problems with the bathroom reno, and since our glowing review of the initial renovation, we have had several problems with that as well. The upstairs closet that they expanded was poorly finished. After about a year, the door was coming off the hinges because they didn't use long enough wood screws, then a couple of days ago the whole rack (with all of our clothes) and shelf came falling down. The person who had installed it had not screwed it into a stud, so the weight of our clothes pulled it clean out of the wall over time. Also, we've noticed a lot of short cuts were taken that are coming into light. In our dining room, there is a nail sticking out where there used to be crown molding, and instead of removing it, they painted it. Under the cabinets where the kick plate was added, the wood is about an inch too short, so you can see the unfinished bottom of the cabinet. Also, we can't open two side-by-side kitchen cabinet doors at the same time because the necessary tolerance between cabinets wasn't allowed. Also, the person who installed the clips to hold up the shelves within the cabinets put them upside down which could have caused a huge disaster if we hadn't noticed and fixed it.  The bathroom was gutted in order to make a bowing wall straight, but they never pulled the original studs, so the new wall is crooked as well and so the radiator, when put back in was much tighter to the wall than the other end, and they had to drill a new hole in the new tile floor to pull it out so it would look straight. I could go on... Basically, we keep noticing little things that come up that just show a lack of attention to detail or oversight. I'm sad to say, I would not recommend them any longer simply based on quality of work or lack thereof.

HORRIBLE. See What Did the Provider Do commentary. Don't make the mistake I did. Make sure their installer is a REICO employee and not a sub-contractor. If a sub-contractor find out how many kitchens they have installed for REICO. Or go elsewhere where they will back their product and installation no matter what.
