Recent Review: I was so impressed with the company. I had received an outrageous quote for moisture treatment from another company and used Accel for a second opinion. The technician was informed, fast, thorough, and on time. He took tons of really clear pictures to share with me. He found no evidence of the moisture problems or active powderpost beetles that the other company had claimed. In addition, Accel said they'd perform annual termite inspections without previously having treated my house, since another company performed treatment just two years ago. They're slightly more expensive than competitors, but it's totally worth it to have a better level of service.

Recent Review: I was not sure the ATMOX system would alleviate "cat smell" odors emanating from our crawl space. After much research I found this system would solve this issue. House Rangers took a look and determined it would work. I had no vents in my basement so they removed block and created the vents needed. Their work was timely and professional. If you have this problem, the ATMOX system is quiet and controls itself. We have had it since December 2017 and have not had the issue again.
Recent Review: They were punctual and did a great job. Even though their estimate was a little higher, I was certainly glad I hired them and it was well worth it. I would highly recommend them. The crew was friendly and I could tell they were working hard without cutting corners.
Recent Review: My basement only had water come into it once after a downpour, but I definitely had a mold issue downstairs. Any object left in the basement developed mold if mold could possibly develop on that particular material. All other estimates were far cheaper, but the ValueDry presentation was far more professional and the work they proposed to do much more thorough. They give you a sales pitch about how much better their system is, and I recognized it was a sales pitch, but I decided not to take half measures and just get the whole job done. I could have scaled back the extent of the work, however. They gave me a number of options. Before the work started, I had an electrician install an electric outlet in the crawl space, per request of ValueDry. I got what I paid for. They told me in advance that they would be removing two of the four pine paneled walls in the den. They knocked a number of chips in one of the remaining walls and for some reason removed the crown molding on that wall even though they kept the wall. I went through their trashcan and recovered the wooden clothes hanger rack from a den closet and a wood attachment that goes with it. So I suppose that jackhammers and daintiness don't go together, but they got the job done. If you call their office in Baltimore, you may have to leave a message for the right person to call you back, but my calls were answered within a half hour. Here are more details about the job itself. They jackhammered through the concrete floor in three rooms (the family room/den plus bathroom and utility room) in order to install their type of pipe, as well as stone, mudguard, and flow channel. They went around the HVAC system in the utility room. Then they reinstalled the concrete floor. They removed two walls of 1959 pine paneling in order to cover the walls with a vapor barrier. They put the vapor barrier in the crawl space plus crawlspace drainage matting. The installed a closed-cell spray foam insulation vapor barrier in the crawl space. I got a sump well and 1/2 hp sump pump and a new battery back-up pumping system. They installed floor clean-outs, Jet-Kleen drain tile flushing systems. I have a new crawl space door and two EZ Breathe Ventilation Units, one for the basement and the other for the crawl, along with accompanying vents. Whenever I sell the house, I can check this off my list. There is nothing left to do on this issue.
Recent Review: Great--Mark and his crew were punctual, polite, kept me posted every step of the way. Mark also pointed out a leak in the space that I had not realized I had--& might not have realized for a very long time! He couldn't finish installing the barrier in that corner and offered to come back once the pipe was repaired. He's gone above and beyond what he needed to and I appreciated it.
Recent Review: Went well. Damage to existing HVAC duct work during demo, and issues with the installed dehumidifier stretched the initial 1 week completion estimate to over three weeks. However there was a long holiday weekend involved. The Drying Company repaired all issues at their expense.
The inspection went well very thorough and very in formative.Information was provided that we have not otherwise known. The inspector took his timedtimed and explained things when questions were asked of him. He was knowledgeable and professional. Will definetly recommend to family and friends.

Mark and his crew are one of the most professional contractors I have worked with over the years, and I have worked with many over my own professional life in commercial and industrial facilities maintenance, so i'm well versed in what it takes to hire contractors and ensuring that a job is done on time, in budget and with professional results. They are very professional in their work in all ways, everything about this company is spot on, everyone is very professional in demeanor and character, they are diligent about doing the job professionally and the end results are top notch, as we used to say when I myself was a contractor, "they do pretty work" everything about my project when smoothly and efficiently, and the humidity in my crawl space is being controlled within +/- 1% of set point, and maintains set point with minimum operation of the dehumidifier, most excellent. I highly recommend them with no reservations.

We awarded Kefficient the job of encapsulating our crawl space after obtaining a total of 4 competitive offers. We chose Kefficient because we had the impression they would do the most thorough job and follow all building codes (including permitting). In addition, the work scope they proposed followed all the steps we researched to be best practice. None of their competitors we considered displayed this level of thoroughness or adherence to codes and best practices. We were not disappointed with Kefficient project's execution! Workmanship was excellent. The crew would not quit until all of our wishes were satisfied - some of them were not even related to the project itself but Kefficient completed them anyways. Another strong point of this company is communication. We were always very aware of the project status and the steps the crew was taking. And finally, Kefficient built a relationship with us that was built on trust and honesty. We will hire them again should we have a need and do not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends!

My wife and I have used kefficient before when we were having issues with our basement. They did an awesome job for us before, so when we decided to encapsulate our crawl space we knew exactly who to use. They came out and once again were fast, professional, and did an amazing job encapsulating. Our house and air quality feel so much better now. Thank you again! Hopefully we wont need any more services for a while but if we do, we know who to call!

After obtaining 4 competitive quotes to encapsulate our crawl space, we decided to award the job to Kefficient and we could not have been more pleased with their work. Unlike their competitors, Kefficient's work proposal included all items we researched as being best practice such as for example drying out the crawl space before mold remediation. Kefficient also ensured that their work is permitted with the county, which is a great assurance that the encapsulation work is done right and will positively impact property value should we ever have to sell our house. Kefficient communicated very well with us and all personnel was professional and polite. They would not close the project before we were completely satisfied and even addressed a problem that was outside of the work scope without charging extra. We were probably more involved than the average homeowner in the encapsulation project and accompanied the crew on numerous occasions in crawl space tours to ask questions related and unrelated to the encapsulation project. The crew discussed and advised us on all questions and made sure all our concerns were addressed. Overall, the project was executed flawlessly with premium materials and an extremely high degree of craftsmanship that we are 100% confident their three competitors we obtained quotes from could not have matched.

Mark and his TEAM did an excellent and thorough job encapsulating our crawl space and installing the dehumidifier. They did not speed through the process and explained each phase of the progress. We had several questions about the process and benefits of encapsulation and they all took their time explaining in detail. I would highly recommend them!!

The entire project went as planned. Mark Keffer and his crew kept me informed throughout the project.

The crew at Kefficient did a wonderful job remediating moisture issues and encapsulating our crawl space. They were incredibly professional. They worked clean every day and communicated with us every step of the way. One of the greatest things was there reassuring manner in dealing with something that we were extremely concerned about. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Envirogroup did an outstanding job encapsulating my crawlspace. It was a tight and tedious job to get underneath plumbing and supports. They removed old insulation, treated all the wood, installed Lining and new insulation, and sealed vents. As an engineer, I appreciated Dante's explanation around the science of crawlspace encapsulation. It was evident Dante knows his field. Vent or not vent, thickness of lining, condition or no condition, options to address moisture, etc. He even had a calibrated industrial-grade hygrometer! None of the other contractors I talked to had this grasp of what was needed. Many HVAC companies were trying to sell me all sorts of services and products I did not need. His guys were professional and courteous and always left the job-site clean. He kept us informed of the status of the job as well. Fast-forward seven years later. I had a small leak in my crawlspace from a lawn irrigation valve. His team came out and remediated the few areas of slight mold growth free of charge which was not even his fault! I've dealt with many contractors and that sort of customer service is rare! I would highly recommend Envirogroup.
