Very good service. I only gave a b on punctuality because he was late arriving due to a glitch in his scheduling program. Otherwise he did a great job.

The mechanic/technician had to do some rework to prevent the door from being pulled from the wall/structure. As for the office manger, I don't believe she was very professional relative to speaking to me as I was either being too picky about the quality of workmanship, a bother or flat out a pain in the rear end. On one occasion, I came into their store to get a sample color of the shower we had installed and she came from the back of the store and quickly stated that she was in a meeting and what did I want....... How in the world was I to know that she was in some meeting esp. since I did not receive " a memo saying don't bother me until my meeting is over ". Once she told me that no other customers has as many complaints as I did and my reply was maybe those customers were unaware, afraid to say something or accepted as is and her reply was that maybe I had spent too many years (45 +) in the Quality Assurance Dept. With reply, I decided to discontinue the conversation and just request to have someone to come out and fix the problem.  If quality is part of their process, then the office manager should be given some sort of training in customer relations as well as a brief outline in Quality and what in means to customers such as myself.

The job went very well, except for a delay when one workman returned to his home town permanently. Considering that the work was done through the Christmas holiday, we were not surprised by the delay. Chad, who acts as the contractor, was extremely easy to work with and very fair when changes were asked for during the course of the job. Kirt, who does tho overwhelming bulk of the work, is an excellent, meticulous, and neat worker. We enjoyed the experience, something that is not easy to do when living in the house while the work is being done, and we are delighted with the result. Several friends have asked who did the work. We would hire them again without hesitation.

I ordered 5/8 in glass for a wall and shower door. when the delivery guy brought the glass it wasregular window glass and I refused the delivery. the charge was $1100.00 and when i called them the said i could get the thicker glass for $1800.00 I canceled my order. I shopped around and found the same 5/8 glass for $1100.00 installed. I had this companyy do the work then recieved a 450

He painted our room and did not make a mess.  He cleaned up any mess he made.  He was attentive and punctual.  He even gave suggestions and recommendations on things that he could not fix.  He told us who the best alternative was.  He was friendly and great.

Rich was very pleasant to work with. He came and gave us an estimate, and revised the estimate as we changed our minds about a few things. He scheduled times to work and arrived or called if he couldn't make it. He handled the demo and plumbing and subcontracted the tiling out. When the grout attaching the tub to the walls cracked shortly after the project was completed, he removed it and replaced it with flexible grout. Overall, the work was done well (tiles on the floors and walls look great, the plumbing works great, and the vanity was installed well), but there were a few problems that led to the lower rating: - The work wasn't always done in the most logical order. (The toilet was put in before the new portion of sheetrock's joint compound was sanded, so there are parts of the wall that can't be smoothed.) - There were a few things that we had to fix afterward. (We had to sand some joint compound above the shower walls. The grout between the shower wall's and the grout between the tub and the floor cracked after a few months. Also, the caulk attaching the backsplash to the vanity's counter was not straight.) We'd hire him again with more specific instructions on our part. We also wish he had a license.

BTHM Remodeling
I hired him when he was working under the company name and quot; The Handiest Manand quot; before he shortened it to THM. I was very impressed at first. He was on time, professional, gave me a fair quote, and his workers were great. Clean, respectful, no foul language, worked the whole time, etc. When he demolished the old shower, he discovered that we could raise the height of the shower ceiling and make it more functional. I appreciated his advice. As he was working on the bathroom project we discussed the deck issues and he told me how he could get us a few more years use out of it without replacing the whole thing (which we couldn't afford) by replacing just a few of the support posts that had sunk over the years and made the deck lean 6 inches on one end. He gave me a quote and I agreed. When the deck didn't turn out to be as big of a project as he thought it would be, he lowered the price for it. Yes, he lowered the price by about $150! However, after the work was done and I had paid, I noticed that the water for the shower was connected backwards (turning it to H gets cold water, C gets hot water.) Not a big deal, but a minor irritation. After 2-3 months, six tiles fell off. They just fell right off. Now it's more than a minor irritation. I have to get someone to fix it. To be fair, I didn't call him back to have him fix it. I didn't want to after it was done improperly in the first place. The deck work has been great and is still looking good four years later.
