Recent Review: For some reason my house was a headache causing numourous visits (I think 6) before the job was complete. I don't doubt a sump pump system was needed but my original concern was moisture evaporating through the floor causing wet spots underneath boxes or other things sitting on our concrete floor. Although my new sump pump does a great job pumping water out, my original moisture problem is still a problem that i'll need to figure out on my own! They were always a pleasure to work with over the course of multiple visits and extremely understanding of my frustrations through the process. I would recommend their services but in general would avoid "waterproofing" service from any contractor as it's more like "water redirecting" into a sump that ultimatly didn't solve my original problem.

BASEco is the real deal. We had water coming into the basement where there is a low spot in the landscaping *and* the previous homeowners had put a sprinkler box there that had become mostly buried, had leaked and been repaired not long before. We suspected water had saturated the foundation wall. BASEco came out when they said they would, did what they said they would, and were courteous, prompt, and professional, and the price was very reasonable for how much work it was. They did some concrete levelling on that side of the house too and it looks great. Also very much to their credit: we had water on the basement floor awhile after their work was complete, called them, and they were promptly back to work on it and see what was up. We discovered that in the same area the sewer line had been quite degraded. They worked on it until it was obvious the damage went way beyond the scope we asked them to work on. They were great and if we need them again I won't shop around.

I have an older home with a shelf basement that had leaked after a new sprinkler system was installed. Rock came out and determined what needed to be done. They waterproofed the outside of the house by digging down and applying a membrane to the outside. it worked well for one section. They came back and redid the work a couple of weeks later for a another section that still was leaking a small amount of water. They were very professional. They did not charge for coming back again and seemed genuinely concerned about getting the job right. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves. The work was done quickly and at a very fair price. I would recommend them to someone else who needs to water proof their basement. They were knowledgeable and good to work with.

It was a good experience. The price was good. The person who came did a good job. His professional and communication was very good.

The actual work was done well and to completion.  The difficulty was getting any kind of clear, accurate communication from these people.  Once they made the sale and had our deposit, it was very difficult to get any response or talk to anyone who actually knew anything about what was going on with our job.  They often had difficulty communicating among their own team members and we got conflicting information on more than one occassion.  They delayed other work that we had to do in our basement because of their miscommunication and lack of communication.  Very unprofessional.  I felt like all they wanted was to make the sale and get my money with no concern for quality or customer service.

We are a condo homeowners association with 119 units. A few of our units have had water seep into their basements. Thus, we have used this provider more than once and will be pleased to use them again should the need arise.  The experience has always been positive. Their bids are considerably lower than other contractors, they are prompt to come when they agree to come, they are efficient in their work, and they use top quality products.  Their technicians are knowledgeable, polite, and clean up when they are through. They were also prompt to return when additional work was needed to solve a problem.  My only concern is that they do not put things back together that they take apart to do their work (e.g., wall studs, paneling, etc.)

We talked to several providers, all of which wanted several thousand dollars and included a partial demolition of the basement to install a pump and drain.  Others wanted to dig along the outside of the house to place the drain and pump.  With very minimal disturbance to the finished basement, they repaired the crack and guaranteed their work to keep water out of that crack.  It has been almost 2 months and there has been no sign of water in the basement.  I was very pleased with the professionalism of the workers, their pride in doing a good job and a great clean up after the job was complete.

AIntermountain Foundation Repair
A front room that is partially underground has been allowing water to seep in for years (House was built in 1935 and we have lived in it for 24 years). We have tried other methods of waterproofing (digging out crumbling wall from the inside and sealing-3 times, injecting with a polymer) with no success.  I called Intermountain Foundation Repair, they had their project manager, Lloyd Carter, come the same week to look at the problem and give me an estimate.  Lloyd told me what the problem was, explained the different methods he could use to stop the leaking depending on what he found once he dug out the foundation, and provided a reasonable price. We set a date, they procured all permits and showed up promptly on the day we set.  The project took 2 days due to the method of sealing that had to be used,  but no charges were added for a second day-the price he quoted was the price I paid. They were as careful as was possible to preserve as many shrubs in the area of digging. The soil was replaced, tamped and they cleaned the work area. I was extremely impressed with Mr. Carter's knowledge and professionalism.

I was impressed at how honest they are. When they did the work for me before they gave me a 5 year guarantee and when I had to call them back out, they were right here with no problem at all. The only problem is that they are not very organized and schedule can sometimes be an issue but the gentleman that has the business, really tries his best to make you happy.
