Recent Review: Kerry Boyer came out ot our property to inspect the proposed project and give us a bid for installing a pier at the waterfront.  Since we have never done work like this, it was important to us to get his input as to how it should be constructed  and maintained.  Kerry spent enough time to find out what ideas were and then add his suggestions to make the project work.  Once we agreed on terms, he ordered materials and started the construction within a week.  He was present each day of the construction to see that things were done right and no corners were bent.  Given that we are experiencing temps in excess of 100 degrees every day he was here, I had to commend both he and his crew of the amount of work that was done each day.  We are very pleased with Kerry's work  and would both recommend him to our friends and use him again if the situation arose.

I am very pleased with there work. They work I had them do was a very big job. They did an excellent job and I am very very pleased with them. They had pretty good prices considering the size of the job. They were very cordial and did a great job of explaining what they were doing.

We love our road ! The Sepulveda's came out to give us a quote in a very timely manner. We ended up liking what we started with and extended all the way to the front gate. They do other types of bulldozing and excavation. They always did what they said they would do, were here when they said they would be. They were so trustworthy. They have become friends. We would love to have them to come back and help with some of the other things we need to do as soon as we can. I just gave their information to a neighbor. A friend had them re-do their drive that washed out. I don't want to list an amount paid because everyone's needs are different. Amounts will differ. I am very happy to say that our experience was really good.

AAnthony & Sylvan Pools
My neighbor was building a pool with Anthony & Sylvan Pools out of Houston. For excavation they accessed my property and delivered all of the dirt to our home. The crew came early in the morning just as the scheduler Amy Flood had told us they would. The crew followed directives for access perfectly and there was no issues. As they dug the pool the dirt removed was brought to my pasture and spread out and graded. The crews really knows what they are doing. All crews after that were professional and extremely clean for a construction crew. Your office staff is amazing. Amy really went out of her way to make this process seamless for all of us. We enjoy the pool as much as the people that purchased the pool and share the care and maintenance responsibilities. I would highly recommend Anthony & Sylvan to anyone looking for a pool installation and we (my neighbor and I) have already referred a customer and they are set to break ground on 10/13. Once again I will be receiving the dirt from their project and I look forward to the same courtesy and professionalism we received the first go round.

AGrib's Septic Systems
We contacted Grib's to install our septic system.  The owner--Gray Gribble--met us at the property and helped us decide where the best place to install the septic system to make the best use of the property.  The near-term plans for our project are in three phases: Have a place with all utilities to park an RV when visiting. Build a small cabin so we can stay on the property when we want w/o the RV. Build a residence. Additionally, we have long range plans to clear additional acreage for livestock. In the evaluation, he was able to help us layout the site plan for our future construction projects.  This property was a challenge as it is very rocky.  Because of the spectacular views from the property we were set on where we wanted our future home.  Gary helped us with the layout of all of the underground utilities--water, septic, and both high (electricity) and low voltage (cable/phone) electric services.  Although we only contacted Grib's about septic we found out that this company also does site prep, excavation, driveways roads and the like.  We were provided a very fair project cost and gave the go ahead to get started. During the site prep we were contacted numerous times to insure that the work being done was exactly to our needs and satisfaction.  Like most construction projects there were changes that needed to be made along the way.  No changes were done without consulting us.  NEVER ONCE WERE THERE PRICE INCREASES DUE TO CHANGES BEING MADE!  In fact, there were additional items added that were not part of the original quote.  This included not only trenching the water line but installing the line and connecting it to the water source.  The same was true for the electrical trenching.  When constructing the driveway and RV pad a gravel base was added that was not part of the original quote.  When I questioned Gary, the response was, "This is the only right way to do it,  don't worry about it the price is going to stay the same". We are very satisfied with the professionalism, quality, and timely completing of our project completion!

FMWL EXCAVATION
From the start, Letterman started clearing the land and he was told to stay away from the big Oak trees. None of the clearing should have been in that area so they should have been clear. But it did not end up that way and we lost two of the eight big Oaks, they weren't destroyed by the fire. I had printed and clear instructions on what I wanted for the road. He told me he did not need the instructions but I left them with him anyway. I kept checking back with him on the status and not much was changing. He did not put drain gutters in. He had to put a culvert in to replace an old one. I have learned from another road company man that he used the wrong culvert. The old culvert, he was supposed to dispose of and all he did was push in into the brush. I was out there the days they were dumping the gravel and there was no gravel in what ever he was dumping on my road. It was very soft. I expected him to water and press it. When I asked him about it, he said he did not have a water truck and would wait for it to rain. WHAT! At any time, he never told me he did not have the tools to do the job. All he had was a bulldozer. He could have rented a water truck to moisten the dirt and have rented a road press to pack it down but he did nothing like that. He did not even leave it with a crown so when it did rain, it could have drained off. Instead, when the rain finally came, it turned to mud and became impossible to drive down. I heard of several vehicles getting stuck where they never did before. He did not install the road correctly, he did not clear the land without burning trees told to becareful of, he removed 1000 feet of iron fence line and it disappeared. He was not at the sight when he was supposed to be. Not a trusty worthy person. I would NEVER recommend him for a job, any job.
