Recent Review: I moved into the house about 6 months ago. The inspector had recommended that I have the a/c serviced. I chose Bob Caves based on other Angie's List reviews. I was able to get an appointment quickly. The two technicians arrived on time and got right to work. The previous owners apparently didn't change the a/c filter too often, and the coil was filthy. The system is about 15 years old. I was concerned that it might need to be replaced, but I was told that it will probably be fine for quite a while longer with a good cleaning. I appreciate this company not trying to sell me a new unit that I don't really need. Not all companies are so honest. They did a great job of cleaning and servicing the system, and made suggestions on how to get better air flow throughout the house. They were very courteous and professional. I will definitely call them again as the need arises.

I called this company Thursday, June 17, 2010. The receptionist told me she would pass the message on. A man called back and said he was out on the road and as soon as he returned to the office, he would get on the computer and locate the part we needed for our whole house dehumidifier. He never called back. I called again Tuesday, June 22, 2010. Again I was told that someone would return my call as soon as they return to the office. No one called. Today, Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at approx 4 pm, I called again. The receptionist said the man was on his way back to the office and he would call back in just a few minutes. No one called. I initially called this company because of all the good/excellent ratings they had. I don't understand what the problem is. I know exactly what is wrong with my unit. I even have the part number and the name of the part. I also know who to call to order the part. At this point, I will call myself and order it and call another A/C company to come install it. The reason why I know what is wrong with the unit is because I have recently had another technician from another A/C company come out, who spent hours searching for the problem only to inform me that he didn't service residential customers any more. I am really getting frustrated with A/C people this summer!!!
